Abstract

Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah (Aswaja) is a theological sect who claimed by various Islamic organization in both redactional and substantive. Some of them is Laskar Jihad Ahlussunnah wal  Jamaah, Nahdlatul Ulama, Muhammadiyah, Persatuan Islam and Wahabi. But of all the organization doesn’t have the same attitude, thingking, response to a tradition (culture) and political view. Aswaja among the public and ulama still partically understood, local and organizational ideology tendentious. The emergence of Aswaja is reaction to the Mutazilah were less strong in holding the sunnah of the Prophet rather than else, so it appears as an antithesis to Hegelian dialectic perspective. Aswaja’s doctrine is constructed by al-Asyari and al-Maturidi, but both have different patterns of thought: al-Asyari’s thought is more traditional whereas al-Maturidi is rational. Aswaja’s doctrine version of al-Asyari, in practically followed by NU. The fikih sect follow Imam Syafii and Sufism follow Imam Junaid al-Baghdadi or Imam al-Ghazali. All they thoughts represented moderate character, so NU is a moderate Islamic organization. But NU becomes less interesting now. Therefore NU need to reconstruction four actions related to both management and organizational leadership, role model of society and state, human resources in a expertise variety and strategic forces in contemporary society.Keywords: Aswaja, NU, Society

Abstract

Biography and writings of Ibn ?At a?illah explained his expertise in the Maliki madhhab well as different patterns of thought Sufi mysticism with other Sufi figures. Therefore, Ibn ?Ata?illah earned the nickname ahl al-hikmah. In addition he was a key member of the Order Shadhiliyah, Ibn ?At a?illah classified prolific scholar who wrote the book. Not less than 20 works were born of his thoughts. His most famous work is Kitab al-Hikam. To make it easier to explore the thought of Ibn ?At a?illah, need to understand first the development of his thinking. Abstract

The Ismailites determine the beginning and the end of Ramadan based on hisab calendar and not on sighting the crescent. According to this Shi?it school, Ramadan always has 30 days. This argument is based on the normative propotitions, the Prophet?s traditions, the opinions of their imams and logical reasonings. As political policy, this calender was used as an instrument to legitimate the position of the Fatimid Imam, holder of religious authority and politics. Abstract

The rise of pro-social behavior in the modern era in diverse forms at all levels of the social good, individual, group, corporation deemed to have not succeeded in creating a growing social transformation. Abstract

Islamic intellectual treasures abundant, but very poor in methodology. Inespecially in the field of theology, was minimal in the use of a methodology, especially in the classical period and the medieval. The methodology in reviewing the new Islamic theology known and discussed in modern times. Islam has buildings that are monotheistic. A religion that has the confidence of the One God. However, the empirical reality, the one God gave birth to a range of views and theological concepts are different. This means that even God as the object of faith Muslims as the God, but when the same Lord responded and understood by many individual Muslims worldwide, it gave birth to a  variety of the concept of God. Differences theological views that depart from the diversity of logic, or form with paradigm, viewpoint and methodology used by the Muslims themselves in capturing and interpreting God. One party Islamic anyone using a logical perspective, ie, attempt to understand God through ratio.No more base through an intuitive understanding. Abstract

Al-Ghazali categorizes science into two categories; namely fardu ?ain andfardu kifayah. According to al-Attas, al-Ghazali has prioritized the contentof knowledge rather than method. However, this does not mean that al-Ghazali ignores method. al-Ghazali believes that the glory of science depends on the result and the authenticity of its principles or watha>qat al-dalil wa qawwatihi, and the firts is more essential than the second. For instance, though medical science is not as precise as mathematics, the prior is more essential for an individual than the later. Likewise, religious science is more noble than medical science. So, if the curriculum of islamic education refers to Ghazali?s classification of science, the prioritized learning isin terms of content that is the dignity of science itself. Abstract

The discourse of interfaith marriage evoked controversy. Article 2 (1) of LawNo 1 in 1974 on marriage does not discus interfaith marriage. The law doesnot legalize interfaith marital. The ban on interfaith marriage is reaffirmedby MUI No 4 / MUNAS VII / MUI / 8/2005 concerning interfaith marriage. Interfaith marriage is illegitimate and forbidden on the basis set forth in the Koran and Hadith. Contrary to the Law on Marriage and the MUI fatwa, the Progressive Islamic circle argues that interfaith marriage to either non-Muslim man or women, is allowed and legitimate.Keywords: Inter-religious Marriage, Islam Progressive

Abstract

The authenticity of the Koran has been recognized by all circles of bothmuslims and non-muslims. It includes the undeniable part of the miracle of the Koran, both in terms of language and of its contents. The Koran is the most comprehensive scripture in the world which maintainde its authenticity of all forms of human intervention. It is a guidelines for everyone who wants to hold onto it in life. Therefore, the Koran covers all aspect of life that it might not present everything along with the details. Therefore, in understanding the verses of the Koran needs certain means to interpret. The use of ?amm (general) and Khass (specific) term sare often found in the Koran. The use of these terms cover certain meaning and understanding that must be examined carefully since they bring significant effect in interpreting the verses of the Koran especially on istinbatof the lawwhich will be the basis of law and code of conduct Muslim society. Abstract

Adhan for newborns is one of the traditions of a people based on several hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad. After doing some research on the sanad of the hadith, it can be concluded that the hadith had of three lines: Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud. Hadiths are weak because of all `` As{im ibn Ubaidullah, according to scholars of jarh{ wa ta?di>l, is considered weak and munkar al-hadith. But, the hadith of can be practiced (ma?mu>l bih) and could rise to the level of hadith hasan li ghayrih. Abstract

This paper aims to find out the views of the Koran about lust. The Koran describes lust with things associated with pleasure and usually tend to lead to negative things. Lust has positive and negative effects. On the positive side, lust is the strongest driving factor of the human psyche; ladder towards perfection; internal struggle of the human spirit. However, the negative side, lust lead people away from the truth; resulting in fallen human glory. Lustcan also bring disaster if filled with exceeded the limit.Keywords: Lust, Koran, Exegesis
