Abstract

Nutrition knowledge is the ability of a person to know how to choose food ingredients and consume them well every day. Nutritional status is the condition in which a person's nutrition is realized in the form of a variable, namely nutritional status, which can be in the form of poor nutritional status, deficient nutritional status, good nutritional status, and over-nutrition status as well as obesity. Lack of knowledge about the nutritional role of various types of food will create health and productivity problems for teenagers, especially young women who will later become mothers-to-be. Nutrition knowledge provides a foundation for teenagers to meet their nutritional needs and be able to improve their nutritional status because they will know the relationship between the food they consume and their nutritional status. This research is a type of quantitative research to find out the relationship between knowledge about nutrition and anemia status in adolescent girls. The research design was cross-sectional which was carried out on class IX teenage respondents at Bulakamba Brebes Vocational School, the analysis used was chi-square, and if it did not meet the requirements it would be replaced with Mann Whitney. The results of the Maan Whitney analysis showed a p-value of 0.031, which means there is an influence between the level of knowledge of teenagers about nutrition. on the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls.

Sampling method using random sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire about the implementation of pregnant women's classes. The questionnaire has been tested to ensure its validity and reliability. Data were analysed with descriptive and Wilcoxon tests to determine the difference in knowledge scores between the 2 groups. There was a significant difference in knowledge score about pregnancy danger signs pretest and posttest in the intervention group (p-value 0.000). Conclusion: Maternal class is effective to improve the knowledge of pregnant women. Suggestion: It is expected that health services can improve maternal class services as an effort to prepare a healthy pregnancy.

Abstract

Satisfaction with antenatal care worldwide is influenced by many factors, including access, health resources, government policies, and other factors. In some areas, especially in developing countries, access to health services is often limited, and coverage of antenatal visits is often poor. Inconsistency in providing comprehensive services, lack of medical resources, and less intensive monitoring are examples. This cross-sectional study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the level of maternal satisfaction with 10T antenatal care. Random sampling was the sampling technique. The research tool consisted of a questionnaire on the satisfaction of pregnant women, which consisted of a component of questions on the implementation of classes related to pregnant women. with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.540, This questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability. To analyse the level of satisfaction of pregnant women towards 10T pregnancy services at UPT Puskesmas Sukakarya Garut in 2023, this study was conducted with descriptive statistics and Chie Square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between satisfaction and pregnancy services 10 T (0.000 <0.05), the truth (0.000 <0.05). Patient satisfaction is strongly influenced by 10T antenatal services. Abstract

Maternal mortality remains a critical global health challenge, necessitating enhanced awareness of pregnancy danger signs among healthcare providers. Nurses, as primary healthcare providers, play a pivotal role in managing obstetric emergencies; thus, their preparedness is essential for improving maternal outcomes. Despite the significance of their role, there is limited understanding of nurses' knowledge regarding the management of danger signs during pregnancy, particularly in the Al-Basrah region. This study aimed to evaluate nurses' knowledge about managing pregnancy danger signs and explore correlations with demographic factors. Conducted at Al-Basrah Maternity and Children Hospital from December 31, 2023, to March 24, 2024, the study included 50 nurses. Findings revealed that nurses exhibited moderate knowledge (68%) about danger sign management, with significant correlations identified between knowledge and demographic factors such as age, education, and years of experience. However, residency showed no statistical significance. This research highlights specific deficiencies in nurses' knowledge regarding critical pregnancy complications and underscores the need for targeted educational interventions. The study suggests implementing comprehensive training programs to improve nurses' capabilities in recognizing and managing pregnancy danger signs, ultimately contributing to better maternal health outcomes in the region.
