Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi UHO : Jurnal Penelitian Kajian Ilmu Komunikasi dan Informasi Is a journal of scientific in the form of research results in communication and information science. This journal is published 4 times a year (January, April, July and October) published by the Laboratorium Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik Universitas Halu Oleo, Kendari. Articles are written in Indonesian and English. This journal is expected to be a medium for researchers / writers who want to publish the results of their research so that it can become a reference for further studies related to the study of Communication and information. Abstract

Berdasarkan latar belakang maka yang menjadi yang menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran KPUD dalam meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengungkap peran-peran KPUD dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik hingga mencapai tingkat partisipasi tertinggi di Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan penentuan informan menggunakan bentuk purpose sampling (sampel seleksi) dengan penentuan informan secara sengaja yang diharapkan mampu menjawab permasalahan peneliti secara utuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Laswell. Dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 8 orang yang terdiri dari 5 orang dari internal sekretariat  KPUD Kabupaten Muna Barat dan 3 orang berasal dari kalangan masyarakat (Tokoh Masyarakat) sebagai partisipan politik.            Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan dan membuktikan bahwa peran KPUD dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat Muna Barat dilakukan dalam beberapa cara dan bentuk, hasil penelitian membuktikan terdapat empat peran yang digunakan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik yaitu a) Sosialisasi, b) Membuat Surat Pemberitahuan, c) Pengumaman Melalui Media, d) Penetapan DPT. Kata Kunci:  KPUD, Partisipasi, Partisipasi Politik, Masyarakat Muna Barat, Muna Barat, Sulawesi Tenggara.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe business communication through Grab Application online services by society of Kendari city. This study uses a qualitative method with research subjects society of Kendari City. Determination technique of informants using snowball sampling. Research informants using the Grab application service criteria. The method of data collecting is done through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. This study found that business communication through the Grab application online service in the Kendari city uses an online transportation service system as a driver and user of Grab transportation. The Grab application online service makes it easy for users with a practical system for ordering online transportation. Users can understand how to order by determining the destination location and pickup location as seen on the Grab transportation application screen. Users can specify two different destination locations. For Grab drivers, especially Grabbike, it is equipped with safety features in driving, namely the Head Grab Helmets, Grab Jackets and accident insurance. The accident insurance service system is carried out immediately if an accident occurs when using Grab transportation. Payroll system in Grab Application services with the provisions of 20:80 percent. Grab provider companies get 20 percent and 80 percent for Grab drivers from the total income earned by drivers every day of one trip operation. Rewards obtained by Drivers and Grab application users are obtained by activating the reward feature on the Grab account that appears in the Grab application service feature.Keywords: bussines communication, transportation, online service, application, grab

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and to describe how the types and processes of communication of person with disabilities in social rehabilitation venues for person with hearing impaired sensory disabilities Meohai Kendari . This research uses the Theory of Symbols by Littlejohn and the research method used in this research is a Qualitative research method with the subject of this research that is the employee / staff in the Social Rehabilitation venues for persons with hearing impaired sensory disabilities Meohai Kendari with informants totaling 7 people. The technique for determining informants in this research is the purposive sampling technique. While the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this research at the social rehabilitation venues for person with hearing impaired sensory disabilities Meohai Kendari showed that there were four (4) things related to the type of communication namely first; sign language of persons with disabilities, second; approach, third; paralanguage / vocals, and fourth; communication media. Whereas in the communication process that occurs there are three (3) things namely first; communication between persons with disabilities, second; communication between persons with disabilities and social workers, and third; communication of persons with disabilities and newcomer.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine and analyze the Effect of Online Game Mobile Legend on Communication Behavior of Students SMA Negeri 1 Kendari. This research is a quantitative study using primary data obtained from questionnaires and measured using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The population of this research is the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Kendari who have used legend mobile online games with a total of 318 students in which only 14% or 45 students were sampled for this study. The results of this study indicate that the online game mobile legend has a positive effect on communication behavior. Key Words : Online Game; Mobile Legend;Communication Behavior

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the message categories, message issues and the number of political messages on Facebook social media in the Presidential Election 2019. This research method uses qualitative methods with the subject of this research are millennial voters in Kendari City who actively use Facebook social media and have uploaded political messages in the Presidential Election 2019. The number of research informants is 10 people. The technique for determining informants in this study is purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. This study found that the categories upload of political messages in the Presidential Election 2019 contained in the millennial voter Facebook account in Kendari, there contained five types of messages namely political participation, government policy, electoral fraud, political campaigns and figures of Presidential candidates. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self esteem and school bullying on Facebook teenagers in SMA Negeri 4 Kendari. This study uses the theory of Kosep Diri Agustiani, H and the research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with the population of this study that is students of SMA Negeri 4 Kendari with a sample of 30 respondents. The technique for determining informants in this study is purposive sampling technique. While the data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that (1) High self esteem will be more respectful of itself and also respected by others, conversely someone who has low self esteem will be more likely to be a victim of bullying. (2) Strength Self-esteem or (self esteem) has a very strong relationship with bullying behavior, can be seen from the results of the final calculation of data that has been taken using a questionnaire, which is accumulated using a questionnaire, where variables X = 23.36 and variables Y = 35.83 means that the dependent variable is higher than the independent variable, so the conclusion is that there is a very strong relationship between self-esteem and school bullying on the Facebook teenagers of SMA Negeri 4 Kendari. (3) Based on the average score of the results of the questionnaire above is the relationship between self-esteem and bullying behavior on Facebook teenagers of SMA Negeri 4 Kendari have a significant relationship, it can be seen from the scores between variables namely the presentation of variable X is lower than the variable Y, so the relationship between self-esteem and school bullying on Facebook for SMA Negeri 4 Kendari teenagers is closely related, but if the score of the independent variable (X) is higher than the score of the dependent variable (Y), then self-esteem with bullying behavior has no relationship between the two, and if the score variable X and variable Y have the same score, or series, so they don't have a relationship either. As the score on the results of a questionnaire that shows bullying behavior has a very strong influence on the level of self-esteem in high school adolescents.Keywords: Self Esteem, School bullying, Teenager Facebook

Abstract

The development of communication technology has progressed very rapidly, the delivery of messages can be done so quickly and with a variety of application media choices. One of them is the Instagram account @fsldk_sultra utilizing Instagram as a medium for delivering da'wah messages to his followers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the dominant theme of digital propaganda messages on the Instagram account @fsldk_sultra. This study uses an explanatory content analysis method with a quantitative approach to get a complete picture of a message while testing certain hypotheses. This research was conducted in four stages, namely: data collection, compilation of the preaching message theme categories presented by Wahidin Saputra, reliability testing, and data calculation using koding sheets filled by three predetermined koding people. There are three categorizations of the unit of analysis in this study, namely the message of preaching aqidah, sharia and morals. The results showed a high relationship between the influence of the dominant theme on the @fldk_sultra instagram account, namely on the da'wah message with the shari'a theme 60.72%. While the rest is aqidah message 30.18% and morals 9.09%. Keywords: Da'wah Message;Instagram Account;Content Analysis

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to find out and describe the contents of the message and how the response of users of the Instagram account @jelajahsultra as a tourist information media. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with the object of this research is that all forms of communication in Instagram @jelajahsultra are carried out by followers of the Instagram account @jelajahsultra with 11 informants. The technique for determining informants in this research is purposive sampling technique. While the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of this study can be concluded that the contents of the message Instagram account @jelajahsultra as a tourist destination media (in the form of photos, videos, and captions) are informative which provides information to followers of Instagram account @jelajahsultra in the beauty of tourist destinations in Sultra. Is persuasive, with travel messages that are packaged in an interesting manner with the right angle of shooting and lighting, so that it can influence or invite followers of the Instagram account @jelajahsultra to travel in accordance with the contents of the message obtained. The response of Instagram account followers @jelajahsultra, not a few followers gave responses like and comments in the form of words, sentences, and emoticons if they thought the message content was good, nicely and liked. While the response of visits and sharing, users of the Instagram account @jelajahsultra shared travel photos by re-uploading travel photos after Instagram @jelajahsultra users visited the tourist based on the message content of the Istagram account @jelajahsultra.Keywords: Message; content; responses; Instagram account; @jelajahsultra.

Abstract

The achievement of agrarian transformation as the ultimate goal of implementing agrarian reform requires various things including the development of communication systems as part of agricultural infrastructure. Unfortunately, the development of agricultural infrastructure has been struggling with the availability of hard infrastructure such as roads, dams, irrigation channels and dikes. Meanwhile, soft infrastructure such as the construction of communication systems at the village level as the basis of agriculture is still minimal. Through analysis of various books, articles and journals as a result of research related to agrarian transformation and also the availability of agricultural communication systems as a source of data, this paper presents as a discourse arousing awareness of the importance of prioritizing the development of communication systems for the aspiration of agrarian transformation in Indonesia.Keywords: Agricurtural Infrastucture, Communication System and Agrarian Transformation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the educational message on the political communication of legislative candidates in anticipating money politics. The theory used in this research is the message production theory of the Encoding-Decoding model using three approaches, namely the message content, message objectives, and message objectives. This research uses descriptive qualitative method which is done by purposive sampling this is purposely the informant is determined based on the objectives and needs of the  researcher. With the number of respondents as many as 10 people. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive qualitatis analysis.The results of the study show that educative message on political communication of legislative candidates provide a lot of knowledge to the public to choose candidates for people’s representatives intelligently, namely to choose legislative candidates by not only looking at the financial side, choosing legislative candidates who have experienced and have contributed to society, and appeals to the public not to waste  the voice by handing out the votes  they have. Keywords : educative message; political communication;legislative candicates
