Abstract

Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of the important horticultural commodities because it is an alternative food ingredient supporting food diversification programs. The demand for potatoes is increasing along with the development of the snack industry and fast food restaurants that use potato ingredients. This study is titled Analysis of Potato Demand in Denpasar City and Factors That Affect It. The purpose of this study is to analyze the function of demand and elasticity of potato demand in Denpasar City and to analyze factors that affect potato demand in Denpasar City. Determination of research locations in Badung Market, Kreneng Market and Sanglah Market is done deliberately (purposive sampling) based on several reasons. Determination of the number of samples for potato consumers is determined by proportional random sampling method using the formula Slovin. Based on the population of 93 traders, samples were obtained in Kreneng Market as many as 14 respondents, 25 respondents in Sanglah Market and 54 respondents in Badung Market. The data analysis method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded: 1) The function and elasticity of potato demand in Denpasar City, namely, Qd = 3,38.X1 -1,257.X2 -1,948.X3 0,056.X4 0.249 and the elasticity of potato prices to potato demand is elastic, 2) Factors that affect potato demand in Denpasar City are potato prices and carrot prices

Abstract

The main part of the bitter melon plant which has a high economic value is the fruit. This study aims to analyze the added value and income from processing bitter melon into bitter melon chips at UD Ratu Wiguna Desa Padangsambian, West Denpasar District, Denpasar City. Types of data in research includes qualitative data and quantitative data. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The method of determining the respondent is carried out by the method of census. The results showed that the characteristics of the respondents included age, education and work experience. The added value of processing bitter melon into bitter melon chips at UD Ratu Wiguna in Padangsambian Village, West Denpasar District, Kota Denpasar, Rp. 31,750 per kilogram with a total production of 10 kilograms bitter gourd chips in one production process. Income received from proceeds processing bitter melon into bitter melon chips in one production process at UD Ratu Wiguna in Padangsambian Village, West Denpasar District, Denpasar City is Rp. 259,810. or Rp 5,196,200 per month.

Abstract

Strawberry is one of the horticultural commodities that have important economic value in Indonesia. Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency is one of the villages that has strawberry farming in Bali. The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze how the conditions of internal and external factors were for developing strawberry farming, and (2) analyzing how the strawberry development strategy was in Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. This research was conducted from September to October 2021, with a total of 30 farmers as respondents. The results showed that Strawberry farming in Pancasari Village had a strength score of 1.91 and a weakness score of 0.82, while the opportunity score was 1.85 and the threat score was 0.79. Strawberry farming in Pancasari Village is in an aggressive growth condition with alternative strategies that can be taken, namely: (1) Improving production efficiency, quality and product appearance, through improving the quality of sustainable/environmentally friendly agricultural implementation and better management of marketing promotions. (2) Increasing cooperation between governments, especially institutions and industry that can increase farm capital for the cultivation of Strawberries with new and super varieties. Control over the conversion of agricultural land (Strawberry land), as well as policies to increase the exchange rate of Strawberry agriculture. (3) Attracting investment interest from various parties to be able to add Strawberry farming facilities, (4) Attracting agro-industry investors made from Strawberries, and (5) Strengthening joint marketing for Strawberry distribution.

Abstract

The aim is to determine the amount of income received by cayenne pepper farmers in Sukawati Village, the sampling technique in this study uses the purposive method, Analysis of the data used .namely income analysis by determining the cost and revenue . Farming efficiency is sought by the R/C formula. The results of this study indicate that the income of cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village is Rp. 31.315.600 per 27 acre land area, per one farming season or Rp 115.983.000/hectares, with an R/C value of 3.288 this indicates that cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village is very efficient and profitable. for the local community, so that it plays a very important role in the income of cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village. based on the results of the study, it is recommended that cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village maintains the results of its farming by developing better cayenne pepper management procedures.

Abstract

Langgahan Kauh Village, is one of the villages that still has agriculture, namely Citrus nobilis. This study aims to determine the marketing channels used by Citrus nobilis farmers in marketing Citrus nobilis in Langgahan Kauh Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency and to find out what the costs, marketing margins, and profits of Citrus nobilis are in Langgahan Kauh Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. This research was conducted from October to December 2021. Respondents were determined using the incidental method with a sample of 33 Citrus nobilis farmers. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis, marketing margin analysis, profit margin analysis, stock analysis, efficiency analysis and income analysis. The results of this study indicate that the existing marketing channels in Langgahan Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency are very efficient in terms of marketing channel I where the efficiency is 3.3%. while for the marketing costs obtained in channel I of Rp. 200/kg while channel III Rp. 1,470/kg. While the marketing margin obtained in channel I is Rp. 0/kg. Meanwhile, what is obtained on channel III is 8,500. The profit margin in marketing channel I is 0 rupiah, while the profit margin in channel III is 6,730. And the production of Citrus nobilis per season is an average of 21,061kg. with an average area of ​​58.5 hectares. The production value or income of Citrus nobilis farming is Rp. 105,305,000. Citrus nobilis farming income is Rp. 74,737,414 per production season with an R/C ratio of 3.44

Abstract

The Effect of Maja Fruit (Aegle marmelos) on Mortality of Pests of Mas Conch (Pomacea canaliculata L.) on Rice Plants inpari variety 32 The golden snail (Pomaceae canaliculata L.) is one of the important pests of rice plants. This pest attack can cause yield loss of 40% - 70% in agricultural crops. This pest also has a wide spread rate in various regions in Indonesia. The control of the golden snail in this study uses maja fruit extract which contains chemical compounds Alkaloids, saponins and tannins that are toxic to pests. This research was carried out starting from August 4 to Septmbr 3, 2021. This study aimed to determine the effect of maja fruit extract on the mortality of the golden snail (Pomaceae canaliculata L.) pest on rice plants. The experimental design used was RAK with 6 treatment concentrations, namely control, 10ml, 20ml, 30ml, 40ml, 50ml. maja fruit extract and repeated 4 times. Observations show that the higher the concentration used, the higher the content of toxic compounds that can lead to higher mortality in gold snails. The highest gold snail mortality was at a concentration of 50 ml, the lower the concentration used, the higher the percentage of damage to rice plants. The highest percentage of damage to rice plants was in the 0 treatment with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

The research objective was titled the efficiency of citrus marketing in Banua Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, is tu analyze 1. Marketing costs, marketing margins, farmer share. 2. The level of efficiency of the marketing channel. The analitycal method used is marketing margin analysis, farmer share analysis and efficiency analysis. This research was conducted from December to February 2021. Responden in the study were 45 farmers using the simple random sampling method and 15 people at the marketing institute consisted of 3 collectors 5 retailers and 7 consumers, using in the snowball sampling method. Based on the research results on the analysis of marketing costs, marketing margins, and marketing efficiency of siam oranges. The following conclusions are obtained: 1. At level I marketing channels, there is not costs and marketing margin (Rp. 0), farmer share 100%, marketing efficiency 0,00%. 2. In the second level marketing channel, the marketing cost is Rp. 2.500, marketing margin of Rp. 3.000, farmer share 57%, marketing efficiency 35,71%. 3. At level III marketing channels, the marketing costs are Rp. 4.500, marketing margin of Rp. 6.000, farmer share 40%, marketing efficiency 45.00%. 4.The most efficient marketing channels is the level 1 channel (products sold directly from farmers to consumers).

Abstract

The title of this study is a Marketing Strategy of Dadapan Tofu In Pejeng Village, Subdistrict of Tampaksiring. This study aims to identify and analyze internal factors that become the strengths and weaknesses of tofu typical of dadapan in Pejeng village. The strength factor is the pricing of tofu in accordance with the quality to achieve customer satisfaction, the location of strategic dadapan tofu companies, and service from the industry to consumers tofu dadapan. Weakness factors are strategies used not yet maximized, limited promotions, and limited business capital. The opportunity factor is the development of management technology, able to compete with other companies, continuous raw materials are guaranteed. Threat factors are environmental competition, fluctuations in prices and raw materials, competition for quality and quantity of tofu between tofu industries. Marketing strategies know typical of dadapan is in quadrant I, meaning that strategies that can be implemented in quadrant I is growing and building. Startegi alternative that needs to be improved more intensively is strategy SO (Strength Opportunities) Make use of the holiday season, cultural events, and various visits in government agencies by working between industries to meet market demand. The government provides assistance in the procurement of facilities in the sales industry typical of dadapan tofu that is easy to reach consumers, especially in Pejeng Village, Gianyar Regency.

Abstract

This research entitled "the potential of uwi tubers (Dioscorea alata L) against white mice rats". The aim of this research was to determine the potential of uwi tubers to eradicate rats or other plant pests. This research was conducted over a period of two months starting from January 2021 to February 2021, to test the effect of uwi tubers, a randomized block design method (RBD) was used with six treatments, namely treatment (P0) as a control without giving uwi tubers, treatment one ( P1) by giving 5 grams of uwi tubers, treatment two (P2) by giving 10 grams of uwi tubers, treatment three (P3) with giving 15 grams of uwi tubers, treatment four (P4) with giving 20 grams of uwi tubers and treatment five (P5) with the provision of 25 grams of uwi tubers, and each treatment was repeated four times so that the total number of treatments became 24. In testing the potential of uwi tubers (dioscorea alata L) against white mice, uwi tubers with 15 grams in treatment three (P3) gave good results good compared to other treatments indicated by the average number of weight loss in rats, namely 17.75 gram

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the productivity and income of Siamese and Brastagi oranges. and analyze the comparison of profitability of income per land area. This research was conducted in Bayunggede Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. This research was conducted in December 2020 to February 2021. Respondents in this study were 60 people with 32 Siamese oranges, while Brastagi oranges were 28 farmers. Based on research on productivity analysis and analyzing the comparison of profitability of income per land area, it was obtained several The conclusions are as follows: Productivity of Siamese oranges per year in Bayunggede Village is 20,185 tons / ha with farm income of IDR 47,395,320 per average planted area of 61 acres or IDR 77,697,000 / ha. Meanwhile, the productivity of Brastagi oranges per year in Bayunggede Village is 20 tons / ha with farm income of IDR 54,288,900 per average planted area of 62 acres or IDR 87,562,000 / ha. The profitability of the Siam Orange farming is significantly lower than the profitability of the Brastagi Citrus farming in Bayunggede Village. In average, the profitability of the Brastagi Orange farming is Rp. 107,764 / are, which is higher than the profitability of the Siam Orange farming
