Abstract

The objectives of the study were: to analyze the feasibility of cayenne pepper farming in Subak Kacang Dawa, Gelgel Village, Klungkung District, Klungkung Regency, the research was conducted through a survey of 30 farmers determined through a Population Data,The results of this study indicate that cayenne pepper farmers get a more decent income. According to information from the Central Statistics Agency no. 54/08th.xvi, August 1, 2013, the production of cayenne pepper in Indonesia in 2011 was 594.22 thousand tons and in 2012 it was 702.25 thousand tons, an increase of 108.03 thousand tons (18.18 percent). This increase was caused by an increase in productivity of 0.74 tons per hectare (14.77 percent) and an increase in harvested area of ​​3.38 thousand hectares (2.85 percent). however, for the province of Bali, there has been a decline in the productivity of cayenne pepper. In 2011, the production of cayenne pepper in the province of Bali was 17.055 tons and in 2012 it was 16,041 tons, decreased by 1,014 tons. This is due to the reduced area of ​​​​farmers' land due to the conversion of land for chili cultivation and pest attacks and contracting diseases that have not been overcome by farmers

Abstract

The aim is to determine the amount of income received by cayenne pepper farmers in Sukawati Village, the sampling technique in this study uses the purposive method, Analysis of the data used .namely income analysis by determining the cost and revenue . Farming efficiency is sought by the R/C formula. The results of this study indicate that the income of cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village is Rp. 31.315.600 per 27 acre land area, per one farming season or Rp 115.983.000/hectares, with an R/C value of 3.288 this indicates that cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village is very efficient and profitable. for the local community, so that it plays a very important role in the income of cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village. based on the results of the study, it is recommended that cayenne pepper farming in Sukawati Village maintains the results of its farming by developing better cayenne pepper management procedures.

Abstract

The people's market is one of the places to distribute and market agricultural, food and non-agricultural products. This market is one of the most obvious indicators to see the standard of living of the surrounding communities. The people's market does not only involve economic actors in the agricultural and food sectors but also those in non-agricultural sectors. The agricultural sector development approach that is still being implemented today is agribusiness system. The people's market is part of the agribusiness system, which is included in the subsystem of supporting institutions. This subsystem provides services for upstream agro-industry subsystem, downstream agribusiness subsystem, and marketing subsystem so as to ensure smooth transactions between producers and consumers.

Abstract

Chicken livestock is one type of business that has the potential to be developed, besides being profitable in the business sector, it is also able to preserve Indonesian germplasm. Several factors that support the domestic chicken business can be developed, because the demand for native chicken, especially in Bali, is still very potential to be developed in terms of consumption and fulfillment of religious ceremony facilities for the Hindu community in Bali. The aims of this study were 1) Analyzing the potential feasibility of domestic chicken business, 2) Knowing the inhibiting factors in the management of domesticated chicken production at the Baturiti Animal Husbandry and Animal Feed UPTD. The method used in this research is the method of R/C Ratio analysis and description analysis. The results showed that 1) the domestic chicken business was in a proper position with a value of 1.30 and 2). The inhibiting factors for the development of domestic chicken business are limited marketing, livestock disease attacks, high feed prices, limited labor, and minimal number of Day Old Chicken (DOC). To develop a domestic chicken business that is more profitable on a large scale, a breeding industry is needed that provides quality DOC, a programmed biosecurity system and a sustainable market arrangement

Abstract

A market is a place where sellers and buyers meet in buying and selling transactions. People's market is a traditional market. The people's market is one of the most obvious indicators of the economic activities of the people in an area. The implementation of safety and health in the work environment is not only intended for visitors but also employees (market managers), suppliers, and traders. This is because people's markets can be the main route for the spread of infectious disease outbreaks. People's markets have an important position to provide safe food. Public markets are influenced by the existence of upstream producers (suppliers of fresh ingredients), suppliers, vendors, consumers, managers, health-related officers, and community leaders. The healthy market is one of the structures in the development of the people's market.

Abstract

The people's market is one of the most tangible indicators to see the level of economic life of the surrounding community. The people's market does not only involve economic actors in the agricultural and food sectors but also non-agricultural actors such as financial service actors and transportation service actors whose existence is indirectly very meritorious (Firmanzah and Halim, 2012). The approach to the agricultural sector that is still being carried out today is the approach through the agribusiness system. As a people's market that is also visited by tourists, the People's Market in Bali must meet the requirements of a healthy market, with Indonesian national standards, and standards for organizing Balinese cultural tourism. The People's Market in Bali has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction. The intended tourist attraction is the type of Balinese Cultural Tourism.

Abstract

Family medicinal plants (TOGA) which include ginger, turmeric, galangal, temu lawak, are one of the people's choices to be planted in their yards with consideration because they can be used for health. The purpose of the study was to analyze the income, contribution and efficiency of TOGA farming in Mekar Bhuana Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. The research was carried out from September to October 2021. The types of data used in this study were quantitative and qualitative data, while the data sources in this study were primary and secondary data. Respondents in the study amounted to 10 people. The methods of collection include observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The results showed that the amount of TOGA farming income in Mekar Bhuana Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency per planting period for 7 months, expanding 19.1 acres of land was Rp. 350.701.or Rp. 1.836.130 per planting period per ha. The contribution of TOGA farm income to the total family income in Mekar Bhuana Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency is Rp. 350.701 (8,17%), while the efficiency of TOGA farming in Mekar Bhuana Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency is profitable and efficient to develop, so it can be suggested to farmers to continue developing TOGA cultivation, especially in Mekar Bhuana Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. considering the contribution of TOGA farming to total family income is quite high and profitable

Abstract

One of the agricultural sub-sectors that apply the mangosteen commodity partnership pattern in Bali is STA Sari Buah with PT Radja Manggis Sejati in Padangan Village, Pupuan District, Tabanan Regency. The development of partnerships can help farmers and business actors in increasing the growth of horticultural agribusiness, especially in the mangosteen commodity. The marketing partnership pattern for the mangosteen commodity is based on a written agreement, but the marketing contract is made between suppliers and farmer groups with exporter companies. Responsibilities of partner groups, namely: taking an inventory of group members and mangosteen trees, cultivating mangosteen properly, collecting mangosteen from farmers, sorting and grading with partner company officers, selling mangosteen to partner companies, and repaying capital loans by deducting from the proceeds of mangosteen sales. . The rights of partner group members are to obtain loans, to be able to supply mangosteen to partner companies, to obtain prices according to the prevailing market prices, to receive payments by bank transfer as soon as the goods are received by the partner companies, and to receive a fee for each kilogram of mangosteen deposited.

Abstract

Strawberry is one of the potential subtropical fruit commodities to be developed. This study aims to identify internal and external factors in developing a frozen strawberry business in the Bali Food Industry and to analyze the strategy for developing a frozen strawberry business in the Bali Food Industry. Data analysis techniques used IFAS, EFAS, I_E Matrix and SWOT Matrix (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity) and Threats). The results of the study show that the internal factors that influence the Frozen Strawberry Development Strategy in the Bali Food Industry consist of strengths and weaknesses. The strength factor has the same value, namely 0.48 (strong), while the weakness factor is the long delivery process and the unfavorable weather factor is still lacking with each value of 0.12 (weak). External factors consist of opportunities and threats. The opportunity factor has the same value in each statement, namely 0.64 (strong) while the threat factor, namely competing companies, increased production costs and increased consumer bargaining position, is still lacking with each value of 0.16 (weak). The strategy for developing frozen strawberries in the Bali Food Industry consists of maintaining quality according to PSAT standards to meet consumer demand, increasing stock of raw materials to increase production capacity, optimizing production to be able to compete with competing companies, optimizing production to be able to compete with competing companies and increasing capital to increase production capacity.
