Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze and describe the development of PAD, Balanced Fund, GRDP, population, HDI, and Regional Expenditure of Bungo Regency during 2004-2019. 2) To analyze the effect of PAD, Balanced Fund, GRDP, population, and HDI on Regional Expenditure of Bungo Regency during 2004-2019. The data used in this research is secondary data. The model used in this study is a multiple linear regression model. The results showed that partially the population, balance funds, population, and HDI had a significant effect on Regional Expenditures in Bungo Regency during 2004-2019, while PAD had no considerable effect on Regional Expenditures in Bungo Regency during 2004-2019 with a significant value of P < 0.05. The R2 value in this study was 0.987391. This shows that 98.7391% of regional expenditure in the Bungi Regency is influenced by the population, PAD, balancing funds, GRDP, and IPM. Meanwhile, 1.2609% were influenced by other factors that were not observed in this study. Keywords : Total population, PAD, Balancing fund, PDRB, IPM,  Regional expenditure

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze the development of Capital Expenditure, PMDN and Regency and City Economic Growth in Jambi Province; 2) To find out and analyze the effect of Capital Expenditures and Domestic Investment on the Regency and City Economic Growth in Jambi Province. The research analysis tool uses panel data regression analysis tools. Based on the regression test results, the data of the simultaneous data shows that capital expenditure and PMDN have a significant effect on the economic growth of regencies/cities in Jambi Province. While partially leading the two independent variables, only PMDN affects economic growth in Jambi Province districts/cities, while capital expenditure does not affect economic growth in Jambi Province districts/cities during 2011-2017. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To determine and analyze coffee farmers' social and economic characteristics in Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. 2) To determine and analyze the effect of land area, capital, and labor on coffee production, Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency by using multiple linear regression analysis tools. Based on the social and economic characteristics of Coffee Farmers in Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, it can be concluded that the average age of the Coffee Farmers is 39 years, the average number of dependents of Coffee Farmers is two dependents, the average working hours of Coffee Farmers is 3 hours, The average coffee production produced by coffee farmers is 57 kg, the middle area of land owned by coffee farmers is 1.46 hectares, the average capital of coffee farmers is Rp. 187,400, the average workforce of Coffee Farmers is only one person, and the average income of the respondents is Rp. 1,710,000 per month. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, it can be concluded that partially only the variables of land area and labor have a significant effect on coffee production in Kuala Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. Abstract

The purposes of this study are 1) To determine and analyze the development of inflation, education, economic growth, open unemployment, and poverty in Jambi Province; and 2) To determine and analyze the effect of inflation, education, and economic growth, on the open unemployment rate and poverty in Jambi Province. The data used in this research is secondary data. The model used in this study is a multiple linear regression model. The results show that the average development of inflation is 11.35%, education is 1.25%, economic growth is -2.64%, TPT is 1.99%, and poverty is -2.74%. Furthermore, the analysis results show that directly inflation and economic growth have a significant effect on TPT in Jambi Province (P<0.05). At the same time, indirectly, only education variables affect poverty in Jambi Province (P<0.05). Keywords: Inflation, Education, Economic growth, Open unemployment, Poverty

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of life expectancy, the average length of schooling, expenditure per capita, and poverty level in districts/cities in Jambi Province, as well as analyze the effect of life expectancy, the average length of schooling, and expenditure per capita on poverty levels. The analytical method used is panel data regression. The results of this study indicate that. After the Chow and Hausmant test, the best model is the Fixed effect. Partially, the analysis results of the variable life expectancy and expenditure per capita significantly impact the poverty level. At the same time, the average length of school does not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, life expectancy, the average schooling size, and per capita expenditure significantly impact poverty levels in districts/cities in Jambi province  Keywords: Poverty, Life expectancy, Length of schooling, Expenditure per capita

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of GRDP and population on Regional Original Income (PAD). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) 2006-2020. The results of this study indicate that the development of Regional Original Income (PAD) in Kerinci Regency has increased except for 2009, 2012, 2017, and 2019 with an average PAD of Rp. Forty-seven thousand two hundred twenty million per year, the development of GRDP in Kerinci Regency has increased continuously except in 2008 with an average GRDP of Rp. 5,907.25 billion per year, and the average population growth in Kerinci Regency is 245,932 people per year. As well as the results of the analysis of factors that affect original regional income in Kerinci Regency, simultaneously the GRDP and population variables have a significant effect on Regional Original Income and partially GRDP is having a considerable impact number of residents has no substantial effect. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic characteristics of traders around the tourist attraction of the pedestrian bridge, to determine the potential and strategies of tourism development, and to determine differences in income from the informal sector. The data used in this study is primary data consisting of interview data. The method used for this research is a field research method with observation techniques and conducting interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The results showed that the variables of age, amount of savings, number of dependents, transportation expenses, and number of tourist visits had a significant effect. However, partially the number of dependents and the number of tourist visits significantly affect the income of informal sector workers around the Pedestrian Bridge Tourism Object in the Gentala Arasy Tower Tourism Object, Jambi City.  Keywords: Income, Informal sector workers, Tourist attraction

Abstract

The research objective is to see and analyze: 1). The development of regional taxes, local levies, regional spending, and economic growth as seen from the value of PDRB Jambi Province during the period 2002-2018, 2). The effect of local taxes and levies on regional spending in Jambi Province during 2002-2018 and 3). The influence of local taxes and levies on economic growth in Jambi Province during the period 2002-2018. The analysis method in this study uses quantitative and descriptive analysis methods, namely development, semi-log, and double logarithmic multiple regression analysis. The research results during the years 2002-2018, obtained: 1). The average regional tax increased by 17.03 percent, the average provincial levy increased by 16.49 percent, the average regional expenditure increased by 16.04 percent, and economic growth grew by 5.76 percent. 2). Partially (individually) or collectively, local taxes and levies have a positive and significant effect on spending on the Jambi Province at α = 5% during the period 2002-2018 and 3). Partially (individually) or collectively, local taxes and levies have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Jambi Province at α = 5% during the period 2002-2018.  Keywords: Local taxes, Regional levies, Regional expenditures, Economic growth

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To analyze the development of economic growth, poverty rate, government spending, Unemployment, local revenue, and human development index (IPM) in Jambi Province 2000-2019, and 2) To analyze the effect of economic growth, poverty rate, government spending, Unemployment and local revenue to the human development index (HDI) in Jambi Province 2000-2019. The research analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis tools. The results showed that the tax effectiveness ratio in Merangin Regency from 2004 to 2019 was in the very effective category with an effectiveness ratio of 108.07 percent. Furthermore, based on the results of multiple linear regression that only the poverty level and government expenditure variables have a significant effect on HDI in Jambi Province. Meanwhile, economic growth, Unemployment, and PAD have no considerable effect on HDI in Jambi Province.  Keywords: Economic growth, Poverty rate, Government expenditure, Unemployment

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine and analyze the effect of capital expenditure, investment, and minimum wage on employment opportunities in Batanghari Regency and 2) determine and analyze the effect of capital expenditure, investment, and minimum wage on economic growth through employment opportunities in Batanghari Regency. Based on the results of multiple linear regression that partially investment variables have a significant effect on employment opportunities. In contrast, capital expenditures and minimum wages have no significant effect on employment opportunities in Batanghari Regency. Based on the results of multiple linear regression that partially, the minimum wage and employment opportunities have a substantial effect on economic growth, while capital expenditure and investment variables have no significant effect on economic growth in Batanghari Regency.  Keywords: Capital expenditure, Investment, Minimum wage, Employment opportunity, Economic growth.
