Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To analyze the conditions of economic growth, the average length of schooling, unemployment rate, the poverty rate in Jambi Province 2001-2018. 2) To analyze the effects of economic growth, the average length of schooling, and the unemployment rate on poverty levels in Jambi Province in the period 2001-2018. The research analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis tools. Based on the results of the simultaneous test that economic growth, the average length of schooling, and unemployment rate together have a significant effect on poverty levels in Jambi Province, while the partial test results say that the significant effect on poverty levels is the variable of economic growth and the average length of the school. Then the results of the determination test indicate that the level of poverty is influenced by the independent variables in this study that is equal to 60.7 percent. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: 1). Changes that occur in capital expenditure, unemployment, and the number of poor people in Tebo Regency during 2004-2018, 2). Effect of capital expenditure and unemployment rates on poverty levels in Tebo Regency during 2004-2018. The data analysis method used in this study uses the formula of development and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of research during 2004- 2018 in Tebo Regency, the average capital expenditure increases 20.99 percent every year, the number of unemployed people has increased 28.57 percent every year and the average number of poor people has decreased 0, 42 percent every year. Capital expenditure and unemployment rate influence reducing the level of poverty in Tebo Regency during 2004-2018 with a regression coefficient value of capital expenditure and the unemployment rate which has a negative regression coefficient. Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine (1) the development of tourists to the Taman Rimba zoo in Jambi Province (2) to analyze the factors that influence tourist attraction, facilities, accessibility, and service quality on the interest in visiting tourists' return visits. Methods of data collection through observation and distribution of questionnaires to respondents. The data source used is primary data obtained directly from the distribution of questionnaires as many as 157 with 5 question items each. The software used in this research examiner is Statistical Package for The Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of the analysis of this study indicate that simultaneously or together the attractiveness and facilities have a significant or positive effect on the interest in visiting tourists' return visits. Meanwhile, accessibility and service quality has a negative effect on the interest in returning tourists. Partially the average attractiveness, facilities, accessibility, and service quality have a positive or significant effect on the interest in revisiting tourists. Abstract

This study aims to examine the perceptions of the people in the city of Padang on the plan to redenominate the rupiah currency and see how the redenomination's impact the economy. The data used are primary by distributing questionnaires to the community according to sub-districts in Padang City, where the data are grouped based on the highest level of education attained. The data analysis method in this research is qualitative by using descriptive analysis of the frequency and descriptive analysis of cross-tabulations (crosstabulation). From the results of this study, it was found that some people did not agree with the redenomination policy because they did not understand this policy. From the results of the crosstabulation descriptive analysis, it can be seen that there is a relationship between the level of education and the perception of the impact of redenomination on the exchange rate and consumption patterns. Meanwhile, there is no relationship between education level and knowledge of redenomination, opinion on redenomination policy, and perceptions about the impact of redenomination on inflation and savings. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational behavior and accounting system implementation on regional finances. The research was conducted on 30 respondents who have authority in the financial sector in the Tlekung Village Government, Batu City. The data used are primary data, which is obtained through distributing research questionnaires. In this study the research variables were grouped into two categories. The first is the independent variable consisting of organizational behavior and the implementation of the accounting system. The second is the dependent variable, namely regional financial accounting. To test the hypothesis, the quantitative data analysis method is used. Hypothesis testing tools used in the process of testing the hypothesis are multiple linear regression models, f-statistical tests and t-statistical tests. Based on the results of testing the first hypothesis, it was found that organizational behavior has a significant effect on the utility of regional finance in Tlekung Village, Batu City. The results of testing the second hypothesis indicate that the implementation of the accounting system has a significant effect on the usefulness of regional financial accounting in Tlekung Village, Batu City. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know whether the financial statements of the business of love are in accordance with the SAK EMKM and to find out the obstacles in making reports. Data collection methods that will be carried out by researchers are: (1) Interview (2) Observation (3). Documentation. The results of interviews, observations and documentation carried out on the love business show that the business owner keeps records and makes bookkeeping reports. However, the owner admits that keeping records and compiling simple accounting reports is in accordance with the needs of the business owner. Recording and preparation of bookkeeping reports are still not in accordance with the science of accounting, because the recording does not show the stages like those in the accounting cycle and recording can only be understood by the business owner himself. The records carried out by Usaha Sayangan also do not show accurate results, because they do not carry out routine records and finances are still mixed with personal finances. Abstract

The research objective was to determine the working capital management of UD. Nila Kencana and to see the management of working capital in increasing the profitability of UD. Nila Kencana. In this study, the type of research chosen is descriptive research with a quantitative approach or field research, which is a research method that is inductive, objective, and scientific in which the data obtained is in the form of numbers or statements that are scored, and analyzed by analysis. statistics. The results showed that the level of networking capital increased in 2017-2018. Management of current and current assets in an effective way using the right policies will provide results in the form of profits that are planned for working capital management in 2016-2017 which is effective with working capital management balanced with an increase in company profits. Meanwhile, in 2017-2018 the effectiveness of increasing working capital was not matched by an increase in company profits. This is due to an increase in the cost of goods manufactured which indicates an increase in the level of purchases in 2018 and has an impact on the cost of goods sold. Abstract

This study aims to determine the economic value and analyze the effect of income and distance from houses to tourist objects on travel costs of the Depati VII Coffee & Resort Tourism Object in Sungai Penuh City. The population in this study were 5,724, 8,886, and 15,771 visitors in 2017,2018 and 2019. The sample in this study was 44 people, and accidental sampling was carried out, meaning anyone who happened to meet the researcher when collecting data. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative data collection, quantitative analysis using multiple linear regression based on a questionnaire, with the method of travel costs, it can be shown that the economic value of the Tourism Object of Depati VII Coffee & Resort is Rp. 1,225,884,089.18. In multiple linear regression, income has a significant effect, and the distance does not have a significant effect on travel costs to the Tourism Object of Depati VII Coffee & Resort while using the F test shows that income and distance affect travel costs to the Tourism Object of Depati VII Coffee & Resort.  Keywords: Tourism object of Depati VII Coffee & resort, Economic value, Travel cost method

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of economic growth and education level towards poverty, with unemployment as an intervening variable in Jambi Province from 2004-2018 data based. This type of research is quantitative, using secondary data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics, such as economic growth data, education levels, unemployment, and poverty during 2004 - 2018. Data processing in this research used SPSS software. 22 and using Path Analysis as a test tools analysis. The results of this research are that there is no significant effect of economic growth and education levels toward unemployment. Still, a significant impact existed of economic growth toward poverty, and there is no significant effect from education toward poverty. There is a significant effect of unemployment on poverty. Unemployment is the intervening variable of economic growth toward poverty because the unemployment variable increases the impact on poverty. Besides, unemployment is not an intervening variable because it does not increase the effect of education level toward poverty. Keywords: Economic growth, education level, unemployment, Poverty

Abstract

The ability of local governments to manage finances is stated in the regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD). The higher the regional expenditure allocation in the APBD, the higher the level of economic growth to reduce or alleviate the level of poverty. The variables that affect economic growth and poverty include regional expenditure. This study aims to determine the effect of regional spending on economic growth and poverty in regencies/cities in Jambi province partially or collectively. The analytical method used is simple regression analysis with a panel data model. The results showed that regional spending has a negative and partially insignificant effect on economic growth. Regional expenditure has a positive and minor impact on poverty levels in districts/cities in Jambi Province. Keywords: Local government, Economic growth, Poverty.
