Abstract

Daerah perbatasan di Indonesia termasuk ke dalam wilayah terpencil dan terisolir dengan kondisi geografis yang ekstrim dan infrastruktur yang minim. Keberadaan puskesmas juga belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh masyarakat di daerah perbatasan. Puskesmas Entikong merupakan puskesmas yang terletak di daerah perbatasan memiliki capaian pelayanan rawat jalan rata-rata pertahun hanya sebesar 46,1% dan rawat inap 11%. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Entikong Kabupaten Sanggau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Jumlah responden sebanyak 250 KK dipilih menggunakan tekhnik proporsional random sampling. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai signifikansi dari masing-masing variabel yaitu kebutuhan (preceived need) (p=0,000), asuransi kesehatan (p=0,033), jarak tempuh (p=0,423), waktu tempuh (p=0,221), budaya (p=0,000), persepsi sakit (p=0,018), dan persepsi pelayanan kesehatan (p=0,309). Faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan adalah kebutuhan (preceived need), asuransi kesehatan, budaya dan persepsi sakit. Faktor yang tidak berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan adalah jarak tempuh, waktu tempuh dan persepsi pelayanan kesehatan. Pemberian informasi tentang kesehatan kepada masyarakat, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, memenuhi sarana prasarana Pustu/Polindes, mendekatkan askes pelayanan serta meningkatkan cakupan kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan di harapkan dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan pelayanan di Puskesmas Entikong.

Abstract

Hospital is a health-care institution that provides comprehensive individual health services through continuous service quality improvement and active marketing management. A marketing mix is a set of tools that can be controlled and used by hospitals to influence and create patient satisfaction so that patients become loyal. The marketing mix of the 4Ps (product, price, place, and promotion) can affect patient satisfaction and loyalty. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the marketing mix and patient satisfaction, and its impact on patient loyalty. The type of research is quantitative research with hypothesis testing. This study obtained 165 respondents by filling out online questionnaires from this study and processed using PLS-SEM. The results indicated that the product, price, place, and promotion variables gave an R2 value of 0.519 for patient satisfaction as a mediating variable. The mediating variable successfully showed a positive effect on patient loyalty with R2 0.499 and mediated the impact of the independent variable. Product, price, place, and promotion significantly positively impact patient satisfaction, which then describes a significant positive effect on patient loyalty.

Abstract

The high rate of turnover among healthcare workers has become a big challenge, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, understanding the factors associated with turnover intention is important. The objective of this study is to analyse the effect of job security, burnout, and their impact on turnover intention mediated by job satisfaction in healthcare workers. This study is a quantitative survey with a cross-sectional approach and 155 respondents of healthcare workers who worked in a private hospital in Batam during the COVID-19 pandemic were taken as the sample using a purposive sampling method. Online questionnaires were distributed in order to collect the data. PLS-SEM analysis method is used to analyse the data. The findings from this study are job security has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, burnout has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, and job satisfaction is proved as a significant mediator towards turnover intention. This finding has implications for hospital managers to make recommendations that will enable the hospital to retain more health workers and thus reduce the turnover rate.Keywords: Job security, Burnout, Job satisfaction, Turnover intention

Abstract

Introduction: One of the major factors in the success of a hospital is its employees, as a hospital contains many professionals that contribute greatly to the overall quality of service of the hospital. Thus, it is important for a hospital to maintain the Job Satisfaction of its employees, an employee that is motivated with their job would be more likely to be motivated and productive, resulting in better services given to the external customer of the hospital. Aim: This study was conducted to determine the effect of Internal Service Quality and Workload on Job Satisfaction. Methods: In this study, the data is collected using a questionnaire to 140 health workers in RS XYZ, Bojonegoro Regency using purposive sampling method. The analysis is done using partial lease square-structural equation modeling and carried out using SmartPLS software version 4.0. Results: The result of this finding is that both independent variables, Internal Service Quality and Workload have positive and negative correlation respectively. Conclusion: According to the result, providing a good Internal Service Quality to hospital employees would increase their job satisfaction, it is also important to manage workload appropriately as excessive workloads could lead to lower job satisfaction.

Abstract

WHO menghimbau kepada semua negara agar budaya melaporkan insiden keselamatan pasien menjadi budaya organisasi di rumah sakit, hal ini karena masih rendahnya tingkat pelaporan insiden di berbagai negara. Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah X yang merupakan salah satu RSUD di Kabupaten Semarang mulai menerapkan budaya keselamatan pasien sejak 2016, tetapi hasil pelaporan kejadian keselamatan pasien di rawat inap sejak tahun 2019 (pasca akreditasi) sampai dengan 2021 belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan beberapa dimensi budaya keselamatan pasien dan budaya lapor keselamatan pasien di rawat inap RSUD X Kabupaten Semarang. Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional study dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Consecutive Sampling sebanyak 138 responden. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi Square dan Confident Interval 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persepsi keselamatan pasien p= 0,001 dengan OR=9,333, kerjasama tim p= 0,001 dengan OR=5,306, keterbukaan komunikasi p=0,001 dengan OR 9,725, dukungan manajemen p=0,001 dengan OR 18,643 terhadap budaya lapor keselamatan pasien di Rawat Inap RSUD X. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi keselamatan pasien, kerjasama tim, keterbukaan komunikasi, dan dukungan manajemen pada perawat rawat inap terhadap budaya lapor di RSUD X.Kata kunci : Keselamatan Pasien, Budaya Keselamatan Pasien, Budaya Lapor

Abstract

Patient loyalty is a significant aspect of marketing strategies in the health industry, including hospitals. Loyal patients will return for treatment and recommend the hospital to others, and this can reduce marketing expenditure. Patient loyalty can be influenced by several factors, such as satisfaction, perceived value, commitment, trust, and brand image. If the patient's necessity meets their expectation, they will be loyal to the hospital. This study aims to find the positive effect of the independent variable, in the form of perceived value and brand image, towards the dependent variable, i.e., loyalty. Furthermore, the mediating variables are trust, commitment, and satisfaction, which can affect loyalty in private hospitals accredited by KARS and JCI. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires via a google form. The data collected in this study were 261 respondents treated at XYZ Hospital, using a purposive sampling technique. The data in this study were analyzed using partial lease square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS application. The results of this study showed that brand image, commitment, and satisfaction have a positive impact on loyalty; the brand image has a positive impact on satisfaction; Perceived value has a positive impact on trust and satisfaction; satisfaction has a positive impact on trust and commitment. Moreover, perceived value and trust do not demonstrate a positive impact on the study.

Abstract

Vascular disease is a condition that affects the arteries or veins. Vascular disease occurs when blood vessels are weakened, blocked, or damaged. Other organs and structures of the body may be damaged by vascular disease as a result of reduced blood flow to the organs. In Lampung, patients with heart and the vascular disease reached 13.000 people. Meanwhile, herbal medicine is an alternative medicine that is commonly consumed by people to reduce the severity of the disease they suffer, including vascular disease. This study was conducted to determine the effect of individual health culture, their health awareness, and their perception of herbal products consumption to relieve and treat vascular disease. This research is quantitative. Data collected in this study is based on a questionnaire that provides the thoughts of the respondents. The result shows that health culture and health awareness do not always affect the consumption of herbal medicines. But the perception they have affects their decision in consuming herbal medicines. The herbal medicine that is top of mind for patients with vascular disease in Bandar Lampung to relieve vascular disease is garlic. Steps a product marketer of herbal medicines for blood vessels and heart should take is a positive perception in various circles, in Indonesia, especially in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Innovative approaches are needed to improve health, prevent disease, implement new treatments and deliver safe, high-quality care,this has always been important, but during the current COVID-19 pandemic, it has become even more relevant. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the antecedents of Innovative Behaviour and Innovation Outputs in nurses who work at XYZ Hospitals, incorporating Innovative Behaviour as a mediator. This study used a quantitative survey with a purposive sampling technique to collect data from nurses in XYZ hospital in Banten Province. There are 160 eligible respondents. The data were analyzed with PLS-SEM using SmartPLS software. It was found that Innovative Behaviour has a positive and significant influence on Innovation Outputs. Work Engagement, as well as Perceived Organizational Support, was found to have a positive and significant influence on Innovative Behaviour. Meanwhile, Occupational Stress and Anxiety didn’t have a significant influence on Innovative Behaviour. This study has implications for hospital management in developing nurses’ innovative behaviour and innovation outputs.

Abstract

One indicator of the success of the healthcare industry, especially hospitals, is the level of employee performance. One of the performances that plays an important role is the performance of nurse services to patients, nurses have an obligation to provide medical and non-medical services to patients. Good performance reflects the performance of a hospital, so performance is important to be optimized so that the hospital's success rate is optimal. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is an important aspect that every nurse needs to have to support effectiveness at work, the level of commitment to the organization is an aspect that plays a role for every nurse in supporting the achievement of hospital goals, and a high level of job satisfaction makes nurses provide the best service. Research data will be collected through a physical questionnaire which will be given to 100 inpatient nurses at RSUD Dr. Adjidarmo Lebak district. Data analysis used the Smart PLS application version 4.0.7.8 and the partial least square equation analysis method. There is a positive and significant effect between OCB, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on the performance of inpatient nurses at RSUD Dr. Adjidarmo Lebak disctrit.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Hingga Juli 2021, sebanyak 89 tenaga kesehatan terkonfirmasi COVID-19 dan satu orang meninggal di Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi menjadi sangat penting diterapkan, sebagai acuan pengendalian infeksi pada pasien dan tenaga kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi kebijakan rumah sakit dalam upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di rumah sakit Kabupaten Musi Rawas.Metode: Sebuah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dilakukan sejak bulan Juni-Juli 2021. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 26 informan yang terdiri dari dokter dan perawat yang menangani dan tidak menangani pasien COVID-19, petugas laboratorium, ketua komite rumah sakit, dan direktur rumah sakit. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisa tematik.Hasil: Penelitian ini menujukan pihak rumah sakit berkoordinasi dan berkomunikasi dengan Dinas Kesehatan kabupaten dan provinsi. Dari segi sumberdaya, masih terjadi kekurangan staf rumah sakit dan pelaksanaan screening COVID-19 yang tidak maksimal. Segi disposisi SDM melaksanakan kebijakan secara konsisten. Peran struktur birokrasi bahwa SOP Rumah Sakit mengikuti kebijakan dari pusat tetapi masih ada staf yang masih lalai dalam penerapan SOP. Peran dukungan masyarakat dalam implementasinya masih belum baik.Simpulan: Implementasi kebijakan rumah sakit Kabupaten Musi Rawas belum dilaksanakan secara optimal dan masih ada beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaan kebijakan. Rumah sakit perlu membuat regulasi atau aturan bagi pelaksana maupun dari pembuat kebijakan terkait cara mensosialisasikan dan menegakkan regulasi, monitoring, meninjau peraturan PPI agar dapat terlaksana dengan optimal serta dapat berjalan dengan tertib dan teratur.
