Abstract

Public health has become a significant focus in this modern era due to the increasing number of people suffering from various diseases. Unhealthy diets and lack of physical activity are often associated with multiple health problems, one of which is obesity. Several studies have been conducted to develop food recommendation systems for individuals with obesity, using K-Means and Random Forest algorithms to provide food recommendations based on user-specific aspects. However, these studies do not provide supporting information, such as physical activity recommendations to address fitness issues or lack of physical activity. This study develops a diet and physical exercise recommendation system for individuals with obesity using a combination of K-Means and Random Forest. The system categorizes and classifies foods and physical exercises and provides customized recommendations based on user data analysis. The accuracy of the system was evaluated using the MAPE metric, with the highest accuracy for dietary food recommendations being 99.03% for the non-vegan lunch diet meal recommendation and the lowest being 70.74% for the vegan morning meal diet recommendation. The MAPE for physical exercise recommendations was consistently at 26.35%, indicating a stable accuracy of 73.65%. The test results show that the system recommends diet and physical exercise accurately.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an efficient funding website for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Mataram City using the Simple Additive Weighting(SAW) method at PT XYZ. The background of the research is based on challenges suchas the manual selection of MSMEs, which can be time-consuming and prone to errors incalculating scores or values. Additionally, the criteria scores lack a definite average valuefor each category, and there is a risk of losing MSME application documents due todisorganized collection, leading to scattered documents. In this advanced era, manycompanies use websites to support their programs, while PT XYZ still lacks such aplatform to support its funding program. Given these challenges, a website is needed tosupport the funding program and address existing issues. This research uses a qualitativeapproach, collecting data through literature studies, interviews, and observations. Theresults of this research show that using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methodyields consistent final values in both manual and program-based tests and enables fasterselection

Abstract

Monitoring business projects is very important to ensure project performance goes according to plan. PT Gerbang Sinergi Prima (GSP) is one of the subsidiaries of the Pension Fund of PT PLN (Persero), which is engaged in Information and Communication Technology. Currently, GSP monitors project performance in a conventional way, which creates several challenges, such as difficulties in monitoring project progress and development. This study aims to develop a backend as an admin dashboard for a business project monitoring system using the Scrum method. Unlike other studies, this research also tests the results obtained with three tests, namely Black-Box Testing, Unit Testing, and Performance Testing. As a result, we built a backend admin dashboard for business project monitoring that supports GSP in real-time monitoring the progress of business projects. Furthermore, testing will also be conducted on the backend admin dashboard. The Scrum method was implemented with excellent results. Feature functionality testing using black-box testing gets a percentage of 100%. API testing using unit testing receives a percentage of 100%. The average response time obtained after executing performance testing is 2896.72ms, which means the results are feasible. Overall, the process of development and testing received excellent results.

Abstract

Project monitoring is an important aspect of project management that can affect project success. In interviews with PT Gerbang Sinergi Prima (GSP) stakeholders, project monitoring is still uses manual ways to make the process more efficient and accurate. As a result, it causes delays, cost overruns, or even project failure. Hence, this research aims to develop a mobile application for project monitoring at GSP. The development of the GSP project monitoring mobile application uses a Scrum pattern based on Agile methodology and testing with black-box and user accepted testing (UAT). The Scrum pattern could help the development team produce effective and efficient mobile application development according to changing project needs. The results showed that project monitoring using mobile applications has a positive effect on the effectiveness of project monitoring. Black box testing results showed 100% success on nine modules, ensuring all features functioned adequately. UAT showed 74% positive statements that met user needs and 46% negative statements indicating the application was quite convenient. Furthermore, the mobile project monitoring application is consistently and continuously used for all ongoing projects in the company. We suggested that it is necessary to conduct training for new users of the mobile project monitoring application.

Abstract

Latest advancements in information technology have been widely utilized in various sectors, including the processing and storage of corporate data. Data is an important asset for companies, like the PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (Smartfren), a leading telecommunication service providers in Indonesia. One crucial dataset at the Smartfren Surabaya branch office is Network Power System (NPS) data, which is currently manually input and stored in Microsoft Excel, causing inefficiency and risk of human error. This study aims to create a website to manage NPS data using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. By doing so, NPS data with more than three thousand records can be easily processed and stored systematically. The research' procedure based on XP includes planning, design, coding, and testing with Black-box and User Acceptance testing with three iterations. Black-box testing result showed a 100% functionality level in each iteration, and User Acceptance Testing results were 87.09% in the first iteration, 87.27% in the second, and 92% in the third. Therefore, this confirms that the NPS website system successfully meets standards and the users’ needs. Hence, this study demonstrated the advantages of transitioning from manual way to web-based systems and developed using XP method to evolving the user needs.

Abstract

Used cars suffer from depreciation and require reevaluation from time to time to ascertain the actual price at which the car can be purchased or sold by buyers and sellers. Car price prediction is important because of the increase in the rate of purchase of used car compared with that of new cars due to inflation, fluctuation in exchange rates, currency devaluation and so on. To address the issues of accuracy and error rate, this work suggests a hybrid feature selection approach that extracts the most crucial properties from the dataset. The most important attributes in the dataset were then used as input for the prediction phase using deep learning approach. The deep learning model's output is contrasted with that of other machine learning techniques to identify the most effective approach. In comparison to the Decision Tree and Support Vector Machine (SVM) models, which performed at 87.8% and 88.3%, respectively, the suggested hybrid feature selection using deep learning model attained an accuracy of 96.9%, according to the evaluation data. However, the other two classifiers indicate a lower error rate as compared to the ANN model.
