Abstract

Background: Anemia during pregnancy was a health problem in the world including in Indonesia and it caused some negative impacts both for mothers and their babies. To reduce prevalence of anemia during pregnancy could be carried out by giving family support to improve the knowledge regarding anemia. Methods: A quasi-experimental study, two groups, pre – and post-test design was used in this study. The sample of this were pregnant women. The study was conducted on December 2016 to September 2017 at the Cikedal Public Health Center, Pandeglang District, Indonesia. Results: There was statistically significant improve in anemia knowledge among pregnant women in the experimental group (p<0.05). Conclusions: It is recommended that mother perception and family support program could be implemented in pregnant women to prevent anemia by improving applying this program. Abstract

Background: Chronic Renal Failure patients on hemodialysis have risk factors for psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression. The cause of chronic renal failure is a stressful condition in hemodialysis treatment, including frequent visits and long waiting times in the dialysis unit, the patient must continue to connect to the hemodialysis machine during dialysis resulting in restrictions in independent life. The anxiety and depression experienced to contribute to a decline in the quality of life. Methods: This research is a correlation study with the cross-sectional quantitative approach, which was performed on twenty patients with hemodialysis at Bhakti Husada Hospital, with accidental sampling technique. The instruments used Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Word Health Organization Quality of Life – BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) questionnaires. The bivariate analysis used by Pearson product-moment and multivariate using multiple linear regression. Results: The results of this research indicate that r-0.143 and p = 0.274> 0.05 means there is no effect of anxiety on quality of life while the correlation of depression on quality of life shows r-0.532 with p 0.008 <0.05 means there is an influence. Regression analysis results in p 0.055> 0.05, indicating that almost no effect of anxiety, depression on quality of life. And seen R = 0.538 and R2 = 0.289 (28.9%) conclusion the anxiety and depression are moderately correlated to the quality of life. Conclusion: Chronic Renal Failure Patients who have hemodialysis have an effect on the condition of both physical and psychic, and therapy Hemodialysis can improve the quality of life. Abstract

Background: Adolescent sexual behavior is a risk factor that puts teenager in early adolescence period in unhealthy reproductive behaviors. Adolescent sexual behavior is influenced by various factors, such as hormonal changes, norms in society, dissemination of information through mass media, and spiritual intelligence. The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation, between spiritual intelligence and access to pornography with adolescent sexual behavior in Senior High School 1 Susut. Methods: This was a descriptive correlational study with cross-sectional design. The number of samples was 82 respondents which were collected by proportional random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires adopted from spiritual intelligence questionnaires and pornography access questionnaires. Results: The results showed that of respondents (58.5%) had high spiritual intelligence while most of the respondents (67.1%) seldom accessed pornographic content. Meanwhile, majority of respondents 62.2 % performed premarital sexual behavior with no risk. Conclusions: There was a significant correllation between spiritual intelligence and adolescent sexual behavior (p=0,00). There was also a significant correllation between access to pornography and adolescent sexual behavior (with p value of 0.00). Abstract

Background: Antenatal care is the supervision before delivery primarily aimed at the growth and development of the fetus in the womb. The behavior of pregnant women in antenatal care visits aims to monitor fetal growth, as well as possible complications that occur during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of pregnant women in antenatal care visits in pregnant women trimester 3 at Pregnancy Clinic RSUD Sidoarjo. Methods: This research is a descriptive research with cross sectional approach. The population used is trimester 3 pregnant women in Pregnancy Clinic RSUD Sidoarjo on June 7, 2013 and sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling, as many as 80 respondents. The research instrument used is questionnaires that are tested using observation and interview. Results: The results showed the behavior of pregnant women in Pregnancy Clinic RSUD Sidoarjo has stated appropriate behavior is shown with good knowledge and a positive attitude toward pregnancy examination There is a Relationship Between the Behavior of Pregnant Women in doing antenatal care visit trimester 3 at Pregnancy Clinic RSUD. Conclusions: Looking at the results of this study can be concluded that the behavior of pregnant women is able to maintain good knowledge, positive attitude, and appropriate behavior is expected in the future pregnant women can do antenatal care so that during the next pregnancy the mother can maintain the health of mother and fetus. Abstract

Background: Nutrition is one of the factor that influence the occurrence of hypertension and family as the main unit in health care family members with hypertension. The purpose of this research was to identify the correlation between family support and nutrition fulfillment of family members with hypertention of family support in fulfilling requirement of family member nutrition with hypertension. Methods: was quantitative descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The research instrument used was questionnaire with probability sampling technique in 71 respondents. Results: Found that 35.2% of families provided good support in meeting nutritional needs. The fulfillment of good nutrition requirement from family was 29,6%. p = 0.012 there is relationship between family support with family member nutrition fulfillment with hypertension. The implications of the research results are expected to develop a hypertension nutritionally conscious family-giving program with family involvement. Conclusions: The family is expected to provide support in fulfilling their need nutrsi family members by hypertension. Keywords: family support, hypertension, nutrition

Abstract

Background: Pregnancy is a dynamic condition, whereby a situation that is initially normal, can suddenly be at high risk. Risks that occur in pregnant women can be identified by knowing the health status of mothers during pregnancy. This study aims to describe the health status of pregnant women. Methods: The research design used was descriptive observation. The population of all pregnant women who do antenatal care at Puskesmas area of Surabaya city. Sampling using simple random sampling technique, sample are 72 respondents. The variables measured to describe maternal health status include age, education, occupation, history of hypertension, parity and nutritional status. Data collection was done by questionnaire to identify the variable, except nutritional status, the respondents were measured body weight and height, then calculated body mass index. The analysis used descriptive precentage so that known the spread of each variable. Results: The results of this study describe respondent’s age more than 41.7% 20-35 years old. The largest of respondent’s education are SMA, 55.6%. Respondents are as housewives more than 68.1%. The health status of respondents was based on second parity of 38.9%. History of hypertension suffered by respondents, 31.9% suffered from severe hypertension. Maternal nutrition included good category 59.7%. The health status of pregnant women in the city of Surabaya depicted many respondents in the age category not recommended for pregnancy, a history of severe hypertension and poor maternal nutrition causes increased the risk of complications in pregnancy and childbirth. Majority respondents to safe parity of the second and third pregnancies and more dominated by housewives make them potentially seeking antenatal care services. Conclusions: The role of health personnel needs to be improved so that the antenatal care function in an effort to improve the optimal health status of pregnant women. Solawat and greetings may still be delegated to the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW. Ladies and Gentlemen, As the beginning of this speech, I would like to say welcome to the third international nursing conference, with the theme "Community Health Empowerment: Step Up Action Attaining Sustainable Development Goals". Good development for the community is sustainable development. Sustainable development is a development aimed at improving the quality of life of people around the world, both from present and future generations, without exploiting the use of natural resources that exceeds the capacity as well as capacity of the earth. This goal can be achieved through four elements of sustainable development objectives: (1) Economic growth and justice; (2) Social development; (3) Conservation of natural resources (environmental protection); (4) Good governance. These four elements are mutually supporting each other, creating relevant and sustainable development goals. At the United Nations (UN) Conference held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) in June 2012, a sustainable development agenda called Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was discussed. SDGs are a set of objectives, targets, and indicators of sustainable development that are universal. SDGs are a continuation and expansion of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) that have been undertaken by countries since 2001 until the end of 2015. At a summit meeting at the UN headquarters in September 2015, 193 UN member states agreed to make SDGs the framework of the political development and policy agenda over the next 15 years from 2016 to 2030. Governments in every UN member country, whether rich or poor, both developed and developing countries, have the responsibility to implement SDGs to achieve SDGs. SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets, covering various Sustainable development issues. Of the 17 objectives of the SDGs, one of them is on Education and Health. How is the implementation of the SDGs in our country and the Asian countries? To answer that question, then for the next 2 days starting from today on 4-5 November 2017 at Royal Hotel, we will discuss the implementation of SDGs with speakers from 5 countries namely: iii 1. Abstract

Background: The reality shows that people with cleft lip and palate initially refuse to perform surgery. The reason are 1) the patient feels fear because the myth of the operation is dangerous; 2) the myth of skin for operation is taken from the thigh; 3) they feel afraid that they cannot pay operating costs because it is very expensive and 4) there is information if a patients do examination in the hospital only for taking photographs but no realization for treatment. This study aims to describe the meaning of social marketing strategy experience of a volunteer in handling cleft lip and palate in Jember and Bondowoso. Methods: Qualitative research with phenomenology design using in-depth interview technique on two participants with characteristics: 1) social marketing volunteer; 2) understand and be able to speak Indonesian; 3) expressed willingness to become a participant. Results: The research produced four strategic themes that it is used by social workers to assist in handling cleft lip and palate patients. The strategy included knowing the causes of delay in surgery, making a network, generating trust in patients, using media as tool or way of communicating with society. Conclusions: Social marketing volunteer experience in Jember and Bondowoso is very spesific with using four strategies as key to success supporting and handling society with cleft lip, and palate willing to do the operation. Abstract

Background: Clean And Healthy Life Behavior (CHLB) in schools can be pursued by the adiwiyata school program. Students who play a role active on Clean And Healthy Life Behavior (CHLB) can realize healthy school. This research was intended to explain the difference of CHLB students in schools that implement and not implement adiwiyata school program. Methods: This study used analytic-comparative method with Cross Sectional approach. The sample of this research was students of SDN Gambiran I as many as 53 students and SDN II Prigen as many as 29 students with cluster random sampling technique. The independent variable was the Adiwiyata school status and the dependent variable was the student’s CHLB. The instruments used were CHLB questionnaires and observation sheets of school sanitation and canteen facilities. Results: The results showed that Mean value of CHLB in SDN Gambiran I was 135.96 with CHLB average of 81.41%. Mean value of CHLB in SDN II Prigen was127.17 with CHLB average of 76.15%. Independent T Test obtained ρ = 0.08 with α = 0,05 (ρ <α) means that there are was significant difference of CHLB in both schools. Conclusions: From the results this research. the researcher suggests the coaching of healthy behavior so that the clean and healthy life behavior of students is well established by adding understanding and knowledge to the Elementary school students especially those that have not implemented the adiwiyata school program. Abstract

Background: Thalasemia is a chronic disease and mostly found in children. Thalassemia patients need some treatment in term of blood transfussion and desferal in their whole life. Hence, the nurse has an important role in conducting nursing care for the patient at the hospital. During May 2016, report showed that there were 29 thalassemia patients in Jombang Distric Hospital (RSUD), to do blood transfussion. Methods: The research method was analytic survey research with cross sectional survey design by explorative approach. The location of the research was Jombang Distric Hospital (RSUD). This was conducted in 2017 and the population was the children with thalassemia. The sample was taken by proposive sampling technique and the total was 10 respondents. Results: The research showed that the children with thalassemia had 100% tissues perfussion disorder, 50% malnutrition and 90% growth and development. Hence the combining used of ISDA, NANDA and SDKI can help the researcher in assessing the data validity. Therefore, it is important for the nursing student to use ISDA,NANDA,NIC,NOC and SDKI in doing their nursing care paper. Keywords: Thalassemia, ISDA
