Abstract

The high number of unemployment in Indonesia is caused by college graduates not brave enough to determine a career path as an entrepreneur. The embedded bad image and false myths about entrepreneurs has made its spread very low in Indonesia. Universities in Indonesia are looking for a more effective form of teaching entrepreneurship so as to produce graduates who are productive rather than educated, but unemployed graduates. Entrepreneurship is very unique because it contains multiple disciplines. There are various forms of teaching entrepreneurship used by different countries in the world from various literatures. Universities and entrepreneur lecturers should be able to take an example on (adapt and adopt) how to teach according to the college culture and taught students, without having to look at what disciplines the student is enrolled in, also by integrating the values of entrepreneurship in the curriculum and extracurricular activities as supporting activities. Thus, entrepreneurial atmosphere can be created within the campus so that students, during their stay in college, do not seem to have lived and becoming used to a dynamic entrepreneurial environment, inspiring, and full of innovation. Thus, graduates will be braver in becoming an entrepreneur without it becomes their last choice like the current situation.

Abstract

Difficulty of finding investment funding has made a nation uses every means to gather them. Sources of investment funding to come from domestic as well as from abroad. Governments should be able to induce foreign investors to be interested in investing in Indonesia, as well as how to make the capital owners in the country to remain willing to make investments in Indonesia so that they do not invest their capital abroad. In this regard, the government must be able to prepare a conducive investment climate in the country (economic growth, interest rates, inflation, and macroeconomic policies in the country) for economic actors to feel safe in their activities. The purpose of this study is to see the impact of domestic capital and foreign capital in investment transactions in Indonesia. The methodology used is regression with time series. The analysis showed that changes in macroeconomic conditions such as growth, interest rates and inflation in some developed countries, including America and European countries in the region does not give a significant influence on Indonesian Foreign Investment, therefore the impact of the severe financial crisis in America and Europe today on Indonesian Foreign Investment is still within limits of tolerance. Therefore, although there are problems in the investment climate in Indonesia, Indonesia's investment prospects over the coming period is still good, though perhaps with slowed investment growth.

Based on that, management can attempt to establish the number of mix employees needed attempt to reach it. Company’s compensation and benefit program didn’t allow for giving rises to employee who stayed in the same position. The only way for management to reward the top performers was to give them a bonus or promote them to another position. It is more important to adjust the individual professionalism and behavior with the organizational culture and behavior through employee training and course program. The best opportunity for an employee is to catch on job at or to be a manager in another country to get the different experience than their host country as a global attitude. This is a global-oriented view that focuses on using the best approaches.
