Abstract

Management of wealth in the Islamic economy becomes important especially because the main economic problem in the Islamic economy is the unequal distribution of resources (assets). This research aims to describe the creation and development, preservation and protection, expenditure and distribution of assets of the new Muslim middle class in Medan. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data was collected through interviews and document studies. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that business planning and investment planning were mostly carried out by the Medan Muslim middle class. It's just that the use of LKS is still low. While planning for the protection of assets through Islamic financial institutions is still low, so is financial planning through Islamic financial institutions is still low; family financial planning is also quite good but the use of Islamic financial institutions is still low; and religious financial planning has not been an effort as well as in the use of Islamic financial institutions which are still low.

Abstract

MMQ stands for Musyarakah Mutanaqishah which is a contract where ownership of assets (goods) or capital of one party is reduced due to purchase purchases by other parties. BMT Al-Hikmah Mlonggo uses MMQ agreements on multipurpose financing since November 2018. This study aims to study MMQ financing procedures and suitability of using multipurpose Musyarakah Mutanaqishah contracts at BMT Al-Hikmah Mlonggo with National Sharia Council Fatwa NO: 73 / DSN-MUI / 2008 and Decree of the National Sharia Council - Indonesian Ulema Council No. 01 / DSN-MUI / X / 2013. This research is a qualitative research using observation, interview and documentation methods to obtain data relating to MMQ at BMT Al-Hikmah Mlonggo. Data analysis techniques are used with the stages of data reduction, model data and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the results of this study can be concluded that BMT Al-Hikmah Mlonggo has not fully applied the musyarakah mutanaqishah agreement based on the MUI fatwa. In determining the margin of the MUI musyarakah mutanaqishah fatwa contract, the margin decision must be discussed with the requirements that must be in practice, only asking for the margin standard set by BMT Al-Hikmah Mlonggo.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high unemployment rate for students who have completed education at the college level. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a type of path analysis. The location of the research that will be conducted is the Dakwan Faculty and UIN North Sumatra Medan Communication students. The data to be collected in this study are Likert scale data about self efficacy, Career Maturity, Social Support, and Entrepreneurial Intention. Data analysis techniques are based on descriptive analysis and analysis of structural equations, especially path analysis. The results of the study revealed that the theoretical model of entrepreneurial intention is fit with its empirical data, only the self efficacy and career maturity variables directly influence entrepreneurial intention in student samples.

Abstract

Previous studies of competitive advantage mostly discussed business entities, instead of public organizations or non-profit ones. Several products of public organizations already use a market mechanism such as in the case of zakat collection service in Indonesia. This research investigates the effect of dynamic capabilities and core competence on the competitive advantage of a zakat institution. The data analysis method employed in this research is path analysis to test the direct and indirect effect of dynamic capabilities on competitive advantage. The results of this research show that dynamic capabilities do not directly affect competitive advantage. Dynamic capabilities, however, affect competitive advantage through core competence. Abstract

The paper aims to measure the effect of CAR, NPF, OER, FDR and NOM toward profitability discribed by Return on Assets ratio of sharia banking performance in Indonesia with FDR and NOM as intervening variable. This research uses quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. The samples have taken from sharia banking monthly report that published by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan for the years of 2015 until 2018 in the last month of the issued report. It has analyzed by using an analysis tool, Eviews 9. The results showed that efficiency ratio has negative impact toward ROA. Otherwise, CAR, NPF, FDR and NOM have no significant effect. For the path analysis, FDR and NOM cannot mediating the effect of financial ratio toward ROA.

Abstract

An increase in the distribution of PTA Syari'ah financing will also be accompanied by a risk of a bank's confidence level to provide the next facility and an increase in risk that must be borne by the bank in the form of the customer's inability to return the principal of the financing received. The risk of financing related to the confidence of Islamic banks in the world is caused by the character of the debtor's failure to pay for financing.This is what underlies the importance of research on the factors that influence the provision of Islamic PTA financing conducted. The dependent variable used in this study is collectibility and the independent variables are age, education level, marital status, number of dependents, type of company, residence status, position, length of work, income, term of financing, financing objectives, financing ceiling, track record at Bank Indonesia, and branch locations for financing applications. The results of research conducted that of the fourteen variables initially which allegedly affected the subsequent financing facilities turned out to be only four that had a real influence on the subsequent financing facilities provision of Islamic PTA financing at ABC Syariah Bank in Indonesia, namely the level of education, length of work, track record at the Bank Indonesia and branch locations for financing applications. However, the length of work variable has a positive effect on the provision of subsequent financing facilities. Keywords: Islamic PTA, collectability financing, logistic regressionABSTRAKPeningkatan penyaluran pembiayaan PTA Syari’ah juga akan diikuti oleh risiko tingkat kepercayaan bank untuk memberikan fasilitas berikutnya dan peningkatan risiko yang harus ditanggung bank berupa ketidak mampuan nasabah untuk mengembalikan pokok pembiayaan yang telah diterima. Risiko pembiayaan terkait kepercayaan bank-bank Islam di dunia disebabkan oleh karakter kegagalan debitur membayar pembiayaan.Hal ini yang mendasari pentingnya penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian pembiayaan PTA syariah ini dilakukan. Adapun variable dependen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kolektibitas dan variable independennya berupa usia, tingkat pendidikan, status pernikahan, jumlah tanggungan, jenis perusahaan, status tempat tinggal, posisi jabatan,lama bekerja, pendapatan, jangka waktu pembiayaan, tujuan pembiayaan, plafon pembiayaan, track record di Bank Indonesia, dan lokasi cabang pengajuan pembiayaan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa dari keempatbelas variabel pada awalnya yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap pemberian fasilitas pembiayaan berikutnya ternyata hanya empat yang mempunyai pengaruh nyata terhadap pemberian fasilitas pembiayaan berikutnya pembiayaan PTA syariah pada Bank ABC Syariah di Indonesia adalah tingkat pendidikan, lama bekerja, track record di Bank Indonesia dan lokasi cabang pengajuan pembiayaan. Namun variable lama bekerja mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap pemberian fasilitas pembiayaan berikutnya. Kata kunci: PTA Syariah, kolektibilitas pembiayaan, regresi logistic

Abstract

Unit usaha merupakan salah satu sumber pendapatan bagi pondok modern Gontor Putri Kampus 2, dimana modal utama didapatkan dari pondok dan kembali untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat pondok. Sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangan terhadap unit usaha agar lebih maju dari sebelumnya, serta strategi dalam melakukan pemasaran yang dapat meningkatkan daya tarik santriwati Gontor Putri Kampus 2 terhadap unit-unit usaha di Gontor Putri Kampus 2. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peluang, ancaman, kekuatan, dan kelemahan dalam  menjalankan unit usaha di Gontor Putri Kampus 2. Mengetahui perkembangan usaha yang dijalankan unit usaha  tersebut, dan membantu menganalisis strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan. Atas permasalahan diatas, penelitian dalam pendekatan Participatory Action Research dilakukan dengan berbagai pendekatan. Maka, beberapa tindakan partisipatif dilakukan mencakup meningkatkan kesadaran atas pentingnya produk, memfasilitasi variabel perkembangan usaha, dan mengadakan Focus Group Discussion  dalam mencari masalah dan solusi bersama dengan pelaku unit usaha di Gontor Putri Kampus 2.

Abstract

AbstrakManajemen pemasaran merupakan analisis, perencanaan pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan program-program yang dirancang untuk menciptakan, membuat, dan menangani pertukaran yang menguntungkan dengan para pembeli sasaran dengan maksud agar meraih tujuan perusahaan, seperti keuntungan, laju penjualan, bagian pasar dan sebagainya. Bauran pemasaran (Marketing Mix) adalah kombinasi dari variabel atau kegiatan yang merupakan inti dari sistem pemasaran. Hal ini berarti, bauran pemasaran merupakan kumpulan-kumpulan variabel-variabel yang dapat digunakan perusahaan untuk mempengaruhi tanggapan konsumen. Komponen-komponen pokok bauran pemasaran adalah: 1). Tempat; 2). Produk; 3). Harga; 4). Promosi. Strategi bauran pemasaran (marketing mix), dalam Islam harus memperhatikan standar keharaman dalam Islam, baik haram dari segi zat, haram selain zat, dan tidak sahnya akad yang dilakukan. Empat aspek pemasaran dalam Islam, yaitu: 1). Aspek Produk; 2). Aspek Harga; 3). Aspek distribusi atau Tempat; 4). Aspek Promosi. Keempatnya mesti sesuai syariat Islam dan tidak  melanggar etika bisnia Islam. Kata Kunci: Manjemen, Strategi, Pemasaran Bauran, Persepktif, Ekonomi Syariah.

Abstract

The Professional Civil Servants (PNS) is the source of zakat income for National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) In Asahan Regency. This research was to analyze the implementation of management functions in the management of zakat for the profession of Civil Servants (PNS) in the National Amil Zakat (BAZNAS) of Asahan Regency and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of zakat research. The method in this study was descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques made through interviews, observations and documentations, literiture study by international journal, BAZNAS data information, presentation, and conclusions.The result of study informed that one of the controlling function hadn’t been done effectively because of there weren’t the independent controlling council in BAZNAS stuctural ones as well as implementing the optimalization the collection of professional zakat with factors that support and provide solutions to existing constraints on the factors inhibiting professional zakat management activities.

Abstract

There is assumption in the community that waqf are physically permanent, and handed over directly to Nazir, even though there are also cash waqf through Islamic financial institutions (IFI). This study aims to analyze the implementation of waqf planning by waqif, waqf development by waqf bodies and the structuring of IFI products in Indonesia related to waqf. This study used a qualitative descriptive method using an online questionnaire to waqif and in-depth interviews with waqf institutions and IFI, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed firstly, in general waqf respondents had undertaken waqf financial planning, even though it had not been through IFI. Secondly, the development of waqf through IFI is done by Nazhir with two methods, namely initiated IFI and initiated by waqf institutions. Third, IFI structured products related to waqf consists of two models, namely not directly made specifically for waqf products and products structured specifically for waqf.
