Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of FDR, NPF, ROA and CAR on the net profit of PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk for the 2016-2023 period. This research uses a descriptive type of quantitative research. Data was obtained via the official website www.btpnsyariah.com in the form of quarterly financial reports which have been transformed into LN (Natural Logarithm) form and then processed via SPSS version 20 media. The data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression test. The results of this research indicate that partially, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk's net profit cannot be influenced by changes in financial ratios such as FDR, NPF, or ROA. However, a high CAR value affects net profit. Meanwhile, simultaneously, the liquidity, earnings and capital ratios together influence net profit.

Abstract

This article discusses the phenomenon that is developing in society regarding Islamic brands in the era of the industrial revolution 5.0 which is currently developing. The labeling "Islamic" was used to attract economic development as well as compete for consumers in Indonesia. Islamic Brand here is not only used by brands in Indonesia but also used by foreign brands to label Islam on a product. Islamic branding is an important factor amidst the popularity of a product to determine its halalness. In business, religion can be used as a vehicle or medium to sell business products. This research uses a qualitative phenomenology type method to show that competition in business is getting tighter and wider. One of the competencies to boost is the religious factor as a tool to win business competition.  Namely, making the principles and values contained in religious teachings, such as halal labeling, become the basis and basis for doing business. Public perception of Islamic branding continues to increase as halal regulations are strengthened by the government. It is clear that the use of Islamic labeling is increasingly widespread in various business sectors. Because business actors feel the benefits of being able to boost sales and being able to compete to attract consumers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of internal control in the economic empowerment division at the zakat management institution using the ERM-COSO Framework. Good internal control implementation is needed to achieve good performance in an organization. The object of this research is the National Amil Zakat Agency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method using interview instruments. The interviewees in this research are the top management division and the person in charge at the zakat management institution which is the object of research. The results of this study indicate that the National Amil Zakat Agency has implemented internal control using the ERM-COSO Framework by 68%, which means that the implementation of internal control is quite effective..

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to determine: 1) the economic conditions of female single parent families in Gerantung Village, Monterado District, Bengkayang Regency. 2) the efforts of single parents by women to fulfill the family's economic requirements in Gerantung Village, Monterado District, Bengkayang Regency. 3) the important role of women's single parents in the family in Gerantung Village, Monterado District, Bengkayang Regency. For the purposes of presenting data, researchers use a descriptive type, namely research that attempts to describe or interpret objects according to what they are or a research strategy in which the researcher investigates events, phenomena in the lives of individuals and asks a person or group of individuals to tell about their lives. Thus, it can be explained that the economic conditions of women's single parent families in Gerantung Village, Monterado District, Regency fall into several categories, namely Pre-Prosperous Families, Prosperous Families I, Prosperous Families II and Prosperous Families III. As well as the efforts of single parents by women to fulfill the family economy in Gerantung Village, Monterado District, Bengkayang Regency, they are very diverse and the important role of single parent women in the family. In Gerantung Village, Monterado District, Bengkayang Regency, of course the role played by single parent women is important, they must play a role. as father and mother to their children. Therefore, this research tries to reveal the struggles of single parents, especially women, even though many people look down on them, but in reality they are very great and extraordinary women

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategy of applying Islamic economic principles to increase the yield of rice farming. Rice is the staple food of the Indonesian people. Efforts to increase agricultural yields aim to meet domestic food needs and minimize import dependence. The majority of Indonesian people embrace Islam as their belief. The principles of Islamic economics are the rules of behavior patterns of Muslim communities in order to obtain salvation both in this life and the next. This research uses qualitative research methods by obtaining data derived from scientific literature studies. The results showed that the application of sharia economic principles in rice farming provides goodness. The three main principles that are practiced are divinity, justice, and freedom. Farmers in Ngalian village apply the principle of divinity by conducting tahlil religious ceremonies and praying together to ask Allah Swt to give smoothness. The principle of justice is practiced in the distribution of water and fertilizer subsidized by the government so that agriculture can be maximized by all farmers without any disadvantaged parties. The application of the principle of freedom also makes farmers free in carrying out the planting process without any pressure from a party.

Abstract

Waqf is a form of worship that has a major contribution to world civilization. This research aims to analyze the role of waqf in building Islamic and Western civilization in higher education institutions. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, namely understanding and studying theories from various literature related to research. The research results show that Islamic education cannot be separated from the role of waqf. One proof of higher education built from waqf is Al-Qarawiyyin University in Morocco. This university has been named the oldest and first campus to use waqf. The concept of waqf developed and was adopted by the western world with the term endowment fund. Harvard University is an example of a university built from endowment funds. Indonesia is one of the countries that has also practiced waqf at higher education institutions, but has not been able to provide free education to underprivileged students. This research is an original study to motivate the Muslim community to be more enthusiastic about giving waqf to higher education. This study is also very important for practitioners and policy makers in evaluating the potential and role of waqf in developing Islamic higher education institutions

Abstract

This study aims to identify the prices of basic necessities that rise ahead of Ramadan, the effect of climate change on these price changes, and government actions to maintain price stability in the market. This descriptive research uses a qualitative approach. Primary and secondary data were used in this study. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research found that the increase in the price of basic necessities in the market can be caused by various factors such as the imbalance between demand and supply, the availability of raw materials used, the phenomenon of climate change, the length of the distribution chain of goods, and stockpiling by middlemen. Some of the policies implemented by the government to reduce the price of basic commodities in the market include government subsidies, the implementation of fiscal policies, agricultural infrastructure development, and government supervision to maintain price stability.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze factors that influence the use of the Shopee application among university students. This research uses qualitative research methods through a descriptive approach. This research data was collected using data collection techniques in the form of observation and in-depth interviews and then analyzed. A number of students from the class of 2021 of the Sharia Economics study program who were research subjects in this study were interviewed regarding online shopping behavior using the Shopee application. The results show that Shopee is an online shopping application that meets students' needs with attractive offers, provides the benefits of shopping anytime and anywhere at more affordable prices through promotions, apart from that Shopee also has a negative impact on students' consumptive behavior. The use of Shopee by students is considered to provide convenience and attractive offers. This research is hoped to be useful and contribute in increasing the understanding of this topic and can be used as a reference for economic actors, students and other related parties

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Non-Perfoming Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Operating Costs of Optional Income (BOPO) on profitability (ROA) and (ROE) in BCA Syariah for the 2015-2022 period. This study uses a quantitative method with secondary data obtained from the official website of BCA Syariah. The sampling method through purposive sampling with research data analysis techniques includes classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test, The conclusion of the hypothesis test partially shows that NPF and FDR have no effect on Profitability (ROA), while FDR and BOPO have no effect on Profitability (ROE) in BCA Syariah. Meanwhile, simultaneously Non-Perfoming Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Operating Income Ratio (BOPO) affect the Profitability (ROA) of BCA Syariah. This is different from the ROE results which show that simultaneously Non-Perfoming Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Operating Income Ratio (BOPO) have no effect on the Profitability (ROE) of BCA Syariah

Abstract

This study defines consumption as using products and services, but it also emphasizes how crucial it is to addressing personal needs. The purpose of this study is to examine how budget maximization is viewed as a gauge of consumer happiness in Islamic economics. This research methodology combines a review of the literature with a qualitative approach. The study's findings demonstrate how, in the Islamic economic perspective, consuming is seen as a way to satisfy people's basic requirements. Religion is a major factor in influencing people's consumption decisions. Strong religious convictions will influence consumption in a significant way, affecting both this world and the afterlife.
