Jurnal manajemen Kependidikan dan Keislaman is a peer-reviewed scientific periodical journal published by the Department of Islamic Education Management the Faculty of Tarbiyah Science and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan. This journal is dedicated to publish scientific articles in the study of Islamic Education Management, General Education, Management, and Islamic Studies from different aspects and perspectives. This journal is available in print with ISSN: 1979-8075, and online with ISSN: 2685-2810. It publishes its articles twice a year, in May and November.

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Role Playing (2) penerapan strategi Role Playing dapat meningkatkan hasil bealajar (3) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Prilaku Terpuji setelah menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Role Playing.Penelitian ini adalah Penilitian Tidakan Kelas (PTK). Dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus yaitu siklus I dan II. Lokasi penelitian ini di MTS Al-Ittihadiyah Titi Kuning Medan dengan subjek penelitian kelas VIII yang berjumlah 41 orang.Alasan memilih materi ini karena hasil belajar siswa masih tergolong rendah dan hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran Role Playing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil tes, diketahui bahwa persentase rata-rata siswa pada kegiatan awal (pra tindakan) yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 4,98 atau (19,5%) siswa yang tuntas, siKlus I dengan nilai ratarata 62,26 atau (43,90) siswa yang tuntas, siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 7,68 atau (82,92%) siswa yang tuntas. Sehingga tingkat hasil belajar Aqidah Akhlak siswa pada materi Akhlak Terpuji dikatakan tuntas secara klasikal.Sesuai kriteria ketuntasan belajar secara kalsikal dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Role Playing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Aqidah Akhlak pada materi Akhlak Terpuji di kelas VIII di MTS Al-Ittihadiyah Titi Kuning Medan.]]>

<![CDATA[This article is regarding the root of terrorism ideology and how to overcome the act of the terrorism, in particularly, the suicide bomb. The verse 60 of Surah Al-Anfal is commonly recognized as the one of the base ideology of Moslem terrorists roomates which misunderstood by them. So that is why this article discusses the right of it too. The terrorism is could not be eradicated by military action only but also the continuous educational efforts, especially in understanding verses of Qor’an roomates missused and misunderstood by moslem terrorists.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to describe and analyst the implementation of religious values in character education based on sunnah Rasulullah in SD IT An-Najah Takengon. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include the collection of data, data presentation, data reduction, as well as the withdrawal of the conclusion. The results of this research show that there are implementation of religious values in character education based on sunnah Rasulullah in SD IT An-Najah Takengon. The implementation is done in various activities at the school, and its is: (1) instilling tawheed and Islamic faith, (2) establishing zhuhr prayer in concregation, (3)memorizing the Holy Quran dan hadeeth (4) wearing islamic dress code especially hijab for girls (5) separating classroom for boys and girls, (6) avoiding in using human doll or animals doll and its paint, and (7) practicing islamic ethic and attitude in daily life.]]>

<![CDATA[The aims of the research are: 1) To find the ethics of students by Muḥammad Nawawī al-Jāw‘s book, Murāqu al-‘Ubūdiyyah Syarḥ Bidāyah al-Hidāyah. 2) To find the ethics of teachers by Muḥammad Nawawī al-Jāw's book. 3) To find the relevance Muḥammad Nawawī al-Jāw's thought about ethics of students and teachers with Islamic education currently. Type of the research is a literary research that find various sources related to Muḥammad Nawaw's thought about students and teachers. Furthermore, the primary of source is Murāqu al-‘Ubūdiyyah Syarḥ Bidāyah al-Hidāyah who written by Muḥammad Nawawī al-Jāwī. The secondary of sources are some books who written by him and scholars who talked about Muḥammad Nawawī al-Jāwī. The researcher used content analysis to analyze the data. The results of this research are: First, Muḥammad Nawawī al-Jāwī ever come studied in Indonesia and Hijaz/Mecca's teachers, and also a productive teacher and the author. Second, the contains of Murāqu al-‘Ubūdiyyah Syarḥ Bidāyah al-Hidāyah' book areethical issues of students and teachers. The ethics of students related to: 1) Personal ethics, 2) Learning’s ethics and teachers interacting, 3) Friends interacting. There are three ethics of the teachers: 1) Personal ethics 2) Teaching's ethics and students interacting. Third, the ethical theory Sheikh Nawawī has relevanced with modern education currently. The students's ethics compared of the 18 character values formulated by the Ministry of National Education, while the teacher's ethics compared with the four teacher competencies.]]>

The existence of islamic educational institutions consisting boarding school, Madrasah and other Islamic schools are determined by the management. Management is one importants component in any organization or institution of islamic education that expected to steer the spirit of educational activities to be effective and efficient, so that to achieve the goals set earlier.
