Abstract

Abstract: The H5N1 avian influenza is an example of a pathogen that is known to cause human disease outbreaks. This study focuses on selecting avian influenza control strategies using Half-Saturated Incidence (HSI) Models. In this study, a model was constructed by involving elements of human self-protection, poultry isolation and poultry vaccination. Furthermore, it is shown that the parameters that influence are the parameters of the population that apply personal protection and its effectiveness, the parameters of the rate of isolation of birds with avian influenza, and the parameters of vaccine coverage and its effectiveness. Increasing the value of this parameter can reduce the basic reproduction number so that disease-free conditions can occur. Hence, controlling the dynamics of disease spread can be done by increasing the value of these parameters.

Abstract

Abstract: Covid-19 which entered Indonesia in December 2019 has a significant impact on the aviation industry. According to BPS data for 2020, the aviation industry's contribution to Indonesia's GDP decreased from 1.21% to 0.28% in the second quarter of 2020. To overcome this setback, comprehensive monitoring by policy makers is needed. The use of big data in monitoring aviation industry activities can be an option. This study aims to analyze aviation activities using big data approach for monitoring basis. The data was collected by using web scraping method on one of the global aviation websites to obtain flight status data at 108 airports in Indonesia on April 2020 until June 2021. Other data used are google mobility index data, GDP data, and TPK. The analysis method used are descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and machine learning based time series modelling with ARNN, single layer ANN and MLP. The results show that the policy of restricting mobility has a significant effect on the productivity of aviation industry. Machine learning modeling shows that the MLP model is the best model for forecasting international aviation activity. In addition, it was found that the aviation industry has a strong correlation with the economy and tourism sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak. Sistem pembayaran premi asuransi kendaraan terdiri dari beberapa state. Pembagian state ini didasari oleh banyaknya pemegang polis yang mengajukan klaim setiap tahunnya. Pola perubahan yang terjadi pada state akan mengakibatkan pencarian kondisi steady state yakni kondisi yang sudah mencapai stabil, tidak mengalami perubahan terhadap parameter waktu. Sistem Bonus-Malus Swiss (BMS) memiliki 22 state dengan distribusi dari banyaknya yang mengajukan klaim adalah Binomial Negatif-Lindley (r,?).Metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan distribusi stasioner adalah metode rekursif. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui simulasi numerik, untuk nilai parameter r yang kecil dan ? yang besar maka pemegang polis cenderung ke state 0 yaitu (super bonus). Kata Kunci: Steady state, BMS, Binomial Negatif-Lindley

Abstract

Tertiary education is a level of education after secondary education; it includes associate program, bachelor program, master program, specialist program, and doctorate program held by a higher educational institution. Through this higher educational institution, the students are taught to be professionals and experts in a certain area of discipline. Universitas Udayana, the oldest university in Bali, is one of the top universities in Indonesia that provides people with a high-quality education. One of the faculties in it is the faculty of mathematics and natural sciences which has six bachelor’s degree study programs, for example, mathematics program. This study program has three competencies, namely computational mathematics, financial mathematics, and statistics. Each competence has its respective applicant and the students have a certain consideration before choosing a certain competence. This study aimed to know the factors affecting the selection of a certain competence in the mathematics program in Universitas Udayana. The data analysis technique used here was the multiple regression analysis by modeling the dependent variables and independent variables. This study found that that the prospect of a certain competence had the most dominant effect on the students’ decision in choosing the competence in the Mathematics program in Universitas Udayana.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide the new innovations on mapping of poverty characteristics in West Nusa Tenggara Province using Biplot analysis. The analysis based on matrix transformation, singular value decomposition, and matrix factorization. In this research we construct two kind of matrix transformation, that are average transformation and standarization transformation. The result of this research is symmetry Biplot, which maps the regency and  poverty characteristics simultaneously. The result of Biplot mapping with average transformation obtained the value of  (79.12%), while standarization transformation obtained the value of  (63.11%). It can be concluded that Biplot mapping with averaging transformation is better than standarization transformation.

Abstract

. School was second place for children to get knowledge and develop skills or talents. A great school and accordance with the character of the child will be able to guide children toward a better future. There are many factors that influence parents in choosing a kindergarten school for children affected from both the internal parents, schools or internal environment. The author would like to see the factors that influence whether parents in choosing a kindergarten school for children and whether there is a relationship between internal indicators of parents, school internally, and the environment. Internal indicators of parents, school internally, and the environment in question include: parent education, parental employment, parental income, school programs, teacher background, facilities, location, promotion, reputation, cost, references, traditions, parents and the learning process. The analysis used were factor analysis and canonical correlation analysis. The results showed that there are seven factors that influence parents in choosing a kindergarten school which factors socio-economic background of parents, location, teacher backgroud, school status, environment, state school, and cost factors. Result of canonical correlation analysis showed that between internal indicators parent with internal school, among parents with the internal environment, and the relationshipbetween internal school and environment provides each significant effect.

Abstract

Waste management in the district Kertapati done by the private sector and government. The authorities responsible for waste management is Palembang City Sanitation Department (DKKP). Waste is transported from the area TPS (Transit Depo) to landfill Sukawinatan use two types of vehicles, namely dump trucks and armroll. Analyzed the optimal number of vehicles ritase waste carrier with the highest amount of waste as a goal. The total time of transport, the maximum capacity of conveyance and the maximum amount of waste that must be transported as an integer linear programming constraints. Completion of linear models using methods Branch and Bound. Volume of waste in Lambung 87 is 7630 kg, the optimal use of dumb truck with 2 ritase carriage. Volume of waste in the Lambung 42 as much as 8850 kg, optimal use armroll with 3 ritase carriage. The amount of waste in the Lambung 69 as much as 7770 kg, more optimal use of dumb truck with 2 ritase carriage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model Pembelajaran Langsung dengan Pembelajaran Kooperatif pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparasi. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang didapat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini kemudian dianalisis dalam dua bentuk yaitu analisis ketercapaian Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dan analisis inferensial untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil analisis ketercapaian KKM menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model Pembelajaran Kooperatif pada saat pre-test jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM yaitu 11 orang  dari 32 orang siswa (34,38%) dan pada saat post-test meningkat menjadi 29 orang (90,63%). Sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model Pembelajaran Langsung pada saat pre-test jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM adalah 11 orang dari 36 orang siswa (30,56%) dan pada saat post-test meningkat menjadi 27 orang (75,00%). Dengan demikian kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 56,25% sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 44,44%. Dari hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model Pembelajaran Langsung dengan Pembelajaran Kooperatif pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2011/2012, Dalam hal ini hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menerapkan model Pembelajaran Kooperatif lebih baik dibandingkan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menerapkan model Pembelajaran Langsung.

Abstract

The object of the present paper is to initiate the study contact CR- submanifolds of a nearly trans-hyperbolic Sasakian manifold with a quarter symmetric semi metric connection. For this, some properties of CR- submanifolds of a nearly trans-hyperbolic Sasakian manifold with a quarter symmetric semi metric connection are investigated which conclude that CR- submanifolds of a nearly trans-hyperbolic Sasakian manifold with a quarter symmetric semi metric connection exists with respect to the ?????horizontal and ?????vertical.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to determine a new location of junior high school at Klungkung, using Fuzzy Subtractive Clustering Algorithm. The new location of the junior high school is depending on the graduate number of elementary school, the distance between location of candidates, and distance between the candidates’ location and existing junior high school. To measure the distance, it is used an Euclidean distance. At the beginning of calculation, the locations of elementary schools are used as the location candidates. Then, the density value of each location candidates is calculated using Fuzzy Subtractive Clustering Algorithm. The location candidate which has the highest density will be chosen to become a starting location. The results of calculation show that the location candidate at 8°32'5.70"S, 115°24'20.64"E has the highest density value, it is at SD Negeri 1 Semarapura Kangin. So the location for the new junior high school is at around SD Negeri 1 Semarapura Kangin.
