Abstract

Public Health Facility is a first-level health facility, the development of which is the fulfillment of public health insurance in Indonesia. Public Health Facility that was originally managed by the central government underwent decentralization so that each region could manage Public Health Facility in their respective areas; this had an impact on the uneven quality and quantity of the workforce and infrastructure of Public Health Facility in Indonesia. The lack of quality of health centers will complicate health provision in certain areas. Global health problems, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, exacerbate the performance of Public Health Facilities which tend not to be ready to cope with changing conditions; resulting in a decrease in visitors and even some Public Health Facilities reducing their operational time. The efforts of countries in the world and the World Health Organization are to publish protocols for the prevention, detection and handling of Covid-19; and the use of technology is one of the solutions that facilitate activities during a pandemic. Appropriate technology methods with criteria according to Teartisup can be applied to the design of Public Health Facility so that health provision is guaranteed to be easy and safe, especially during a pandemic.

Abstract

Addiction can affect both physically and psychologically, causing personality problems and behavioral changes in the social environment. Special facilities are needed that have a planned recovery program, handling dependencies that do not have a planned recovery program will have further impacts. Therapeutic houses must pay attention to the comfort and safety of its users which can help restore the sufferer's physical and psychological condition. The environment influences the recovery process. By using environmental healing methods, the three approaches used combine natural, sensory and psychological elements. Elements of nature can be felt through the five senses. The senses can help see, hear and feel the natural beauty that is designed. This affects the psychology of the patient. Psychologically, patients will feel comfortable and safe within themselves.

Abstract

The Student Center of the Faculty of Engineering Lambung Mangkurat University aims to improve facilities for students and student organizations. The problems faced are how to design a Student Center that can accommodate collaboration between student activities and student organizations. Programming methods are used to solve architectural problems and find solutions. A review of references and case studies from several Student Centers globally provides insight into the importance of paying attention to context, dividing functional zones, and providing facilities that support various student activities in the Student Center. The design concept initiated is connectivity in the form of physical and visual connectivity with an emphasis on spatial layout, activity zones and similar materials. As a result, the space in the Student Center is dynamic according to student needs.

Abstract

Art galleries have a role as a means for artists to exhibit their work and a means for the public to enjoy and obtain information about art on a non-formal basis. Galleries cannot be passive institutions that only provide space for art collections, but must also provide space for the public to "interact" with art collections and make a strong impression. Through the concept of collective memory and the combined metaphor method, it is hoped that it will be able to provide a strong, deep and informative impression for visitors. The application of these concepts and metaphors focuses on building exteriors, interiors and landscapes to create an impression on visitors through visuals so that the goal of educating the public through architecture is achieved.

Abstract

The water tourism sector in Banjar Regency is relatively small even though the geographic potential in the Banjar Regency area is very supportive for the development of water tourism. One of them is the Riam Kanan Reservoir area in Aranio District, Banjar Regency. Riam Kanan Reservoir has vast water potential and can be developed as a tourist destination. The existence of floating net cages (KJA) in this reservoir can also be a tourist attraction. Apart from that, another potential is the existence of Pine Island ecotourism which is currently not optimal due to constraints on the slow development of tourist areas. This writing aims to solve problems and respond to the potential that exists in the Riam Kanan Reservoir by preparing a concept for designing water tourism, namely mina wisata. The aim of designing this tourist attraction is to maximize the potential of the Riam Kanan Reservoir as a water tourism area and develop floating net cages (KJA) as well as interacting with the Pine Island Ecotourism area around the site. The step to achieve the goal is with a tourism design concept that emphasizes water tourism activities and floating net cage (KJA) areas as education and the principle of mutual support with Pine Island Ecotourism through a symbiotic architectural approach. The result is the development of tourist facilities towards the education and tourism sectors through the Edu-Tourism concept as a form of responding to problems in the design of mina wisata.

Abstract

Child development during the golden period of growth aged 0-3 years, plays an important role in character formation, cognition and other important aspects. This phase requires good assistance, because it is the foundation for various aspects of a child's development. The four categories that influence a child's growth are gross motor skills, fine motor skills, language, and social/emotional. The city of Banjarbaru, with its rapid population growth, has a significant number of toddlers, but parents often have difficulty caring for children because many work outside the home. The daycare available in this city does not have adequate facilities, especially to help children's development based on their age. This is a problem raised in the design. The concept of “Interactive Design” is used to create an environment that stimulates children's development according to their age. The main room is divided into 4 child development age zones, each zone accommodates interactive elements for social adaptation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills and language. The tread design is adapted to the child's developmental needs in each zone for optimal stimulation.

Abstract

Muslims' interest in studying the Koran is currently decreasing, this is proven by research results from the Al-Quran Science Institute in Indonesia in 2022 that 72.25% of Indonesian Muslims are illiterate in the Koran. One of the efforts to help Muslims study the Koran is by establishing the Al-Quran Tahfidz House. The Tahfidz Al-Quran House program is also the vision of Tabalong Regency, which is the location of the design object. The Tabalong Regional Government created the 100 Tahfidz Houses program in Tabalong Regency. The design problem is related to the peaceful aspect of the space and environment of the Tahfidz House. One method that can solve this problem is William Pena's Architectural Programming method which focuses on problem seeking to produce problem solving in the form of programmatic concepts and schematic designs. The design of the Tahfidz Al-Quran House takes the Mutmainnah concept, where the Mutmainnah concept focuses on the physical response of the building to the user's tranquility in the form of responses from sound aspects, building mass layout, lighting, materials, colors, aromas and shapes.

Abstract

Banjarmasin as one of the largest cities in South Kalimantan has great potential in the tourism sector. One type of tourism that is developing quite rapidly is the culinary sector. This is indicated by the large number of workers absorbed in the culinary field. Realizing that Banjarmasin has great potential in the culinary tourism sector, the government has stepped in to develop the culinary tourism sector. However, the development carried out only sometimes runs smoothly, and in the process, several problems arise. Many visitors complain about the lack of supporting facilities, the place could be more visually attractive, the level of security could be better, and access is difficult. To solve this problem, culinary as a public place is used, formulated through the placemaking approach method. The concept of culinary as a public place emphasizes the relationship between user needs and the design object. Through the placemaking method approach, user comfort is implemented through arranging comfortable accessibility and circulation, providing supporting facilities, and adding the RTP function as a new attractive element to the object.

Abstract

Banjarbaru the capital of South Kalimantan Province, is showing good economic growth with the support of the Banjarbakula Metropolitan Area program, connecting Banjarmasin City, Banjarbaru City, Banjar Regency, Barito Kuala Regency and Tanah Laut Regency. In efforts to realize this program, efficient transportation facilities are key, especially terminals that are able to overcome human and vehicle circulation conflicts and increase accessibility within the site. The Type B terminal at Simpang Empat Banjarbaru adopts the Integrated Circulation concept with a focus on human and mode circulation. The integrated circulation concept is implemented in the form of buildings that can be reached by all groups, disabled or normal, as well as various modes of transportation. In principle, this concept is integrated into the terminal design using programming methods, creating an orderly and functional circulation. With an integrated terminal, people can enjoy smoother transportation services, programming makes various circulations and space functions structured and orderly for inside and outside the building so as to create circulation that does not cross.
