Abstract

Abstract. The control of the learning material needs to be supported by the availability of learning resources, media, learning tools, and selection of strategy accuracy. Direct interaction in the field can provide real experiences, motivate and enhance students' knowledge. Learning the concept of aves in the Vertebrate Zoology course still contains a small local material of wetland. The aim is to describe the validity of the field guide and activities of students for using the field guide. The field guide was developed based on the results of the study and validated by experts. The level of readability is tested, while practicality is seen from their activity. The validity of the field guide is very valid, while the readability test is very good. Products of field guides have been made interestingly, easily, and be able to be used by students. Keywords: validity, practicality, field guide, bird, vertebrate zoology Abstrak. Penguasaan materi perlu didukung ketersediaan sumber belajar, media, perangkat pembelajaran, dan pemilihan ketepatan strategi. Interaksi langsung di lapangan dapat memberikan pengalaman baru dan nyata, memotivasi dan meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta didik. Pembelajaran konsep aves pada matakuliah Zoologi Vertebrata yang dilakukan selama ini masih sedikit memuat materi lokal berbasis lahan basah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan validitas panduan lapangan hasil pengembangan dan aktivitas peserta didik dalam menggunakannya. Panduan lapangan dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan divalidasi ahli. Tingkat keterbacaan diuji oleh peserta didik, sedangkan kepraktisan dilihat dari aktivitas dalam penggunaan. Validitas panduan lapangan termasuk sangat valid, sedangkan uji keterbacaan sangat baik. Produk pengembangan telah dibuat menarik, mudah dipahami dan digunakan peserta didik. Kata kunci: validitas, kepraktisan, panduan lapangan, burung, zoologi vertebrata

Abstract

Abstract. This research is to see the implementation of Hangaroo Game and Word Jumble to build the students’ vocabulary mastery. The method used is quasi-experimental research. There were students of SMP Negeri 9 Banjarmasin as the sample. As the result, the students from both classes had limited comprehension on vocabulary proven by the students’ score of pre-test. The class of experimental yielded the mean score of 20,19. The mean score was 17,29. The final result of the research was determined after the researcher had acquired the t-test result. It is found that there was no difference of students’ vocabulary mastery taught using Hangaroo Game and students taught using Word Jumble. For further research, it is hoped to be more curious and innovative to choose other media that can be used to aid the students’ vocabulary mastery. Keywords: score, Hangaroo Game, Word Jumble, vocabulary, vocabulary mastery, Lexicogrammatical

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to produce a set of direct instruction models with ARCS motivation strategies and problem solving methods that are valid, practical, and effective so that it is feasible to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a research and development using ADDIE model. The test subjects were students of class X-PMIA 2 at SMAN 3 Banjarmasin. Data collection using the instrument validation sheet learning tools, observation sheet implementation of lesson plans, learning achievement tests, and student questionnaire responses. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning tools developed were: (1) valid based on practitioner assessment and academics (2) practical based on the effectiveness of lesson plans that are categorized as good, and (3) effective N-gain of learning outcomes by 0.46 with moderate category and learning motivation of participants students are categorized as good. Keywords: Direct instruction, ARCS motivation, problem solving, learning outcomes. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat model pengajaran langsung dengan strategi motivasi ARCS dan metode pemecahan masalah yang valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba adalah peserta didik kelas X-PMIA 2 di SMAN 3 Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP, tes hasil belajar, dan angket respon peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan: (1) valid berdasarkan penilaian praktisi dan akedemisi (2) praktis berdasarkan keterlaksnaan RPP yang berkategori baik, dan (3) efektif N-gain hasil belajar sebesar 0,46 dengan kategori sedang dan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang berkategori baik. Kata Kunci: Pengajaran langsung, motivasi ARCS, pemecahan masalah, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract. This research aimed to identify, and in advance, to analyze the subject of analysis of the research during the performances of the students in English storytelling. Total of the students that acted as the research population were 44 students of SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. There was a specially designed observation sheet used as the main tool or research instrument to retrieving the data. As the result, there were 37 errors happened during the students’ performances. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the improvement in student learning outcomes through discovery learning. This research is a pre-experimental research using One-Group-Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA of SMA Negeri 4 Makassar, which consisted of six classes. The research instrument used was a student achievement test in the form of multiple choice. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes with N-Gain of 0.42 in the moderate category. Key words: discovery learning,  learning outcomes. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui discovery learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan One-Group-Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi  dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Makassar yang terdiri dari enam kelas.. Instrumen  penelitian  yang  digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar peserta didik yang  berbentuk pilihan ganda. Abstract

Abstract. This research investigated the perceptions of disabled students in joining the blended learning of English course as an obligatory subject. The subjects of this research are 9 disable students with various disabilities who join the English class. This research uses is interview and questionnaires as instruments. From the findings it can be concluded that the disabled students or students with special need has positive perception toward blended learning. They believe that it is helpful and make them easier to learn foreign language. It is also shown that they are eager to use the blended learning despite of their special needs. It is suggested to teachers who teach disabled students to use blended learning since it helps them to be autonomous learners.  Keywords: Blended learning, disable students, English course Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi persepsi mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus dalam mengikuti pembelajaran inklusi mata kuliah bahasa Inggris sebagai mata kuliah wajib. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 9 mahasiswa difabel dengan berbagai kebutuhan khusus yang mengikuti kelas bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen. Dari temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus memiliki persepsi positif terhadap blended learning. Mereka percaya bahwa hal tersebut dapat membantu dan membuat mereka lebih mudah untuk belajar bahasa asing. Hal ini juga menunjukkan bahwa mereka ingin menggunakan blended learning meskipun mereka memliki keterbatasan dalam hal fisik. Disarankan kepada dosen yang mengajar mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus untuk menggunakan blended learning karena dapat membantu mereka menjadi pembelajar yang mandiri.  Kata kunci: Blended learning, mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus, kursus bahasa Inggris

Abstract

Abstract. This study is an ex-post facto research that is correlational analysis that aims to analyze the significance of the relationship between science process skills and learning styles with students' physics learning outcomes. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 Gowa. The research instrument used was a science process skill test instrument, a learning style questionnaire and a physics learning achievement test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between science process skills and learning styles with the physics learning outcomes of XI MIPA students of SMA Negeri 8 Gowa. Keywords: science process skills, learning styles, learning outcomes Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat analisis korelasional yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis signifikansi hubungan antara keterampilan proses sains dan gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Gowa. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine whether there are significant differences in learning motivation and learning outcomes in students between the use of PjBL learning models assisted by Chemondro android-based chemistry learning media with expository learning models. In addition, it is aimed to determine students' responses to Chemondro media on colloidal material. Classes becaming the sample were class X-TKJ A and X-TKJ B at SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. The method used is a quasi-experimental with descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. This research shows that there are significant differences in motivation and student learning outcomes in classes using the PjBL model compared to the expository model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar yang signifikan pada peserta didik antara penggunaan model pembelajaraan PjBL berbantuan media pembelajaran kimia berbasis android Chemondro dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap media Chemondro pada materi koloid. Kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah kelas X-TKJ A dan X-TKJ B di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Penelitiian ini menunujukkan adanya perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik yang signifikan pada kelas yang menggunakan model PjBL dibandingkan dengan model ekspositori. Abstract

Abstract. Everyone must experience regular day and night changes. The question is: how could the day and night shift occur? It is often not all people's understanding of the event is in accordance with scientific concepts. This article describes the conceptions of a number of students about the day and night turnover events. This study was carried out through pictures and explanations from each participant's interview. Participants in this study consisted of 10 high school students and 16 first year students of Physics Education Study Program, all participants lived in Palangka Raya and its surroundings. Based on the results of the study, students still have many misconceptions about day-night shifts, for example the conception of revolving Earth models, rotation models, revolving sun-moon models, and blocking models. The conceptions found in this study have similarities with the results of studies abroad in various age groups and levels of education. Keywords: day and night, conception, scientific concept Abstrak. Setiap orang pasti mengalami pergantian siang dan malam secara beraturan. Pertanyaannya: bagaimana peristiwa pergantian siang dan malam itu bisa terjadi? Seringkali tidak semua pemahaman orang-orang terhadap peristiwa tersebut sesuai dengan konsep ilmiah. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan konsepsi dari beberapa siswa dan mahasiswa tentang peristiwa pergantian siang dan malam. Studi ini dilaksanakan melalui gambar dan penjelasan dari wawancara masing-masing partisipan. Partisipan dalam studi ini terdiri dari: 10 siswa sekolah menengah dan 16 mahasiswa tahun pertama Prodi Pendidikan Fisika, seluruh partisipan tinggal di Kota Palangka Raya dan sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil studi, pada siswa dan mahasiswa masih banyak konsepsi-konsepsi yang salah tentang pergantian siang-malam, misalnya konsepsi revolving Earth model, rotation model, revolving sun-moon model, dan blocking model. Konsepsi-konsepsi yang ditemukan dalam studi ini memiliki kemiripan dengan hasil-hasil studi di luar negeri pada berbagai kelompok umur dan jenjang pendidikan. Kata kunci: siang dan malam, konsepsi, konsep ilmiah

Abstract

Abstract.  This classroom action research was intended to describe the implementation of the “MAGEVPRO” technique to increase the students’ability of grade VIII in writing the transactional interaction text. This research was conducted in grade VIII A at SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin with 33 students. This research was conducted in two cycles with the four steps: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The quantitative data of the students’learning achievement was obtained by test (daily assessment) and the number of errors made by students was collected by error analysis. The qualitative data of the students’activities were collected through observation sheet. The result of this study showed that the implementation of the “MAGEVPRO” technique was able to increase the the students’ability of the grade VIII in writing the transactional interaction text at SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. Keywords: Students’ability,  transactional interaction text, “MAGEVPRO” technique Abstrak. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk  mendeskripsikan penerapan teknik “MAGEVPRO” untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas VIII  dalam menulis teks interaksi transaksional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan 2 siklus dengan tahapan kegiatan mulai perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan/observasi dan refleksi. Data kuantitatif berupa  prestasi belajar diperoleh melalui tes (Penilaian Harian) dan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa diperoleh melalui kegiatan analisis kesalahan. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas siswa diperoleh melalui lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik “MAGEVPRO” dapat  meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas VIII  dalam menulis teks interaksi transaksional di SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin  Kata kunci:Kemampuan siswa, teks interaksi transaksional,  teknik “MAGEVPRO”.
