Abstract

In the world of construction services, labor productivity is one of the determining factors for the success of a development project. In measuring the level of labor productivity there are various ways, one of which is by direct observation in the field by looking at the work of each worker. The purpose of this study was to determine the coefficient/index value of the workers in the brick wall laying work cycle in the Polres Multipurpose Building Development project and the Kapolres Room Rehabilitation project in Banjarbaru City and to determine the coefficient comparison of bricklaying workers in the POLRES Multipurpose Building Construction project and Spatial Rehabilitation The Banjarbaru City Police Chief when compared with the 2022 Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP). This research was conducted by observing the productivity level of 4 light brick laying workers. From the data analysis that has been done, it can be seen that the coefficient or index of masons on the work of laying red brick walls on the construction project of the Banjarbaru Police Multipurpose Building and Kapolres Room Rehabilitation has an average of 0.064 OH. Meanwhile, the coefficient or masonry index according to Minister of Public Housing and Public Housing Regulation No. 1 of 2022 is 0.13 OH. This means that the coefficient or index value of the carpenter's data from the field is smaller in value compared to the coefficient or index in Regulation of the Minister of Public Affairs and Public Housing No. 1 of 2022. The percentage comparison of the coefficient or index of the masonry is obtained 0.066.

Abstract

One alternative to repair damage to old road pavements is with recycling technology or recycling (CTRB) where Issues with the Mixed in Place procedure include mixing with pre-existing soil material, which should not be mixed during implementation as it will impact the Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) values. The Conch brand is less expensive as a binder than local cement from South Kalimantan since production expenses are lower. This study aims to determine the typical influence of existing soil on UCS, what percentage of existing soil material can still be tolerated either curing or non-curing, and correlation. It also aims to obtain recommendations for the maximum percentage of influence of percent of existing land on UCS in curing or non-curing. Finally, it aims to obtain UCS Results at minimal cement levels that still meet the requirements with the use of brand local cement. RAM samples were obtained for the purpose of investigation, which was done in a lab, existing soil and additional materials in the field. Inspection of old aggregates, making test specimens with variations in cement content of 1-10%, after obtaining minimum UCS according to technical requirements then making test specimens with variations in soil examinations and content UCS’ of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% again then conducting data analysis to find correlations / relationships. The results of the research showed variances in cement content of 1% (one) - 10% that still meet the technical specifications of UCS (at least 30 kg/cm²) obtained a minimum cement’ content of 5% (five percent) with a UCS of 33,77 kg/cm². Then the test results of the influence of existing soil on UCS that is still tolerated are mixed, namely in curing conditions is 17% with the equation Y = - 0.10075 x + 46.894 (R2 = 0,964). and non curing 8,9% with the equation Y = - 0,1113 x + 39,814(R2=0,956). The R2 conclusions for both indicate a very There is a substantial correlation between the two factors.

Abstract

This research explores the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for collision detection in multi-story buildings, with a focus on the Directorate General of Customs and Excise's Office of Facilities and Infrastructure in Banjarmasin as a case study. The primary objectives of this research are to quantify and analyze collisions among structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) elements within the building, and to assess how collision detection impacts material quantities and cost estimates. The study leveraged Revit 2022 to construct a comprehensive 3D building model and utilized Navisworks 2022 for clash detection analysis, identifying clashes across the three mentioned components. Subsequently, clash resolution strategies, including component geometry and position adjustments, were employed. The investigation reveals that design errors emerged as the predominant cause of collisions, followed closely by design inconsistencies and mismatches. The findings underscore the potential for substantial cost savings, up to 10.056% of the total project budget, primarily driven by optimizations in architectural materials. As a result, the study recommends a renewed emphasis on design coordination as a means to proactively prevent clashes and thereby reduce overall project costs.

Abstract

Structure irregularities can affect a building's ability to respond to earthquakes. One of the irregular configurations often encountered is the setback structural system which is a structure with the top of the building protruding inward, causing high vertical irregularities. This study aims to determine differences in earthquakes effect between setback structural systems and non-setback structural systems by seismic response analysis. In this analysis, there are four building models with structure irregularity variations at the same conditions and location as a comparison. Model 1 is a building without vertical irregularities or non-setbacks, while the other three models are setback buildings. The building location for this analysis is Hulu Sungai Utara District in very soft soil site class (E) because the earthquake risk in this location tends to be greater than in other South Kalimantan districts. As the results of this comparative analysis based on the base shear, displacement, and drift values, the best model is model 4, which is a setback building, because the output values are smaller compared to the other three model's output. This result is due to the mass reduction in the setback building model because of vertical geometry irregularity by 150% in the x direction and 366% in the y direction.

Abstract

Soil bearing capacity is very important in building infrastructure that affects the pavement layer above it, as it is the subgrade that will support the loading. Therefore, soil is the most important aspect as the main support in civil engineering building structures. The purpose of this study is to determine the comparison of Bore Pile bearing capacity analysis according to soil investigation data in the form of Sondir (CPT) and Machine Drill (SPT) with two methods, namely the Mayerhoff and Aoki & De Alencer methods in the construction of the Aranaway Bridge. After calculating with Aoki & De Alencer, the ultimate carrying capacity is 137.47 tons (CPT 1) and 113.83 tons (CPT 2). While the calculation with Mayerhoff with the results of the ultimate bearing capacity of 258.12 tons (SPT 1) and 200.04 tons (SPT 2). According to the calculation, it is also obtained a comparison of the bore pile permit bearing capacity for Aoki & De Alencer of 68.74 tons and 57.42 tons on Sondir data, while for the Mayerhoff method of 86.04 tons and 66.68 tons on SPT data. So it is concluded that the value of the allowable carrying capacity of the two methods, the difference is not significant.
