Coal mining, especially coal surface mining, requires a huge tracks of land to be disturbed. This disturbance includes removing vegetation, moving overburden (waste rock and soil), removing of coal and relocating overburden to backfill. The main environmental problems associated with land disturbance include erosion of the soil, dust pollution and losses of natural vegetation. Minimizing these impacts and rehabilitating land to a previous condition before mining now become requirements in most countries, including Indonesia. However, among small corporate mining, there is often poor adherence to the law because the lack of financial resources, ignorance of the law, poor mine management, and low level of expertise.Observation and slope stability analyses of disposal site have been conducted in Kampung Baru area ofBanjarbaruCity. The Stability analyses were carried out using the limit equilibrium computer program SLOPE-W (GEO-SLOPE International). In this program systematic search is performed to obtain the minimum factor of safety from a number of potential slid surfaces. Factors of safety were computed using Bishop’s method analyses. The result of slope stability analyses using SLOPE-W software shown that the existing condition of bench is not safe. To minimize the failure potential, this bench (single bench) should modified to be three-step-bench. The dimension of each step of bench should be arrange as follows: width of bench = 5 meters, height of bench = 5 meters, and angle of slope = 36o.

Water is one of the elements forming the fresh concrete mix is crucial. Therefore, SNI 03-2847-2002 arranged that water can be used as concrete mix is water that qualifies as drinking water. However, with abundant water reserves near the project site, implementers often take water in the environment to be used as a mixture of concrete. Notwithstanding this water use water that meets the requirements. Therefore it is important to know how to influence the use of this water when used as an ingredient in the concrete. The water used in this study originated from PDAM, brackish estuary area Barito, Peat in the area Sambang Lihum, Martapura River, Polder Alabio, and wells in the area Banjarbaru. Concrete will be tested for compressive strength at 28 and 56 days. The test specimen cube measuring 50 mm and standard cylinders made respectively of 36 pieces. 18 fruits tested at 28 days and the remaining 18 units were tested at the age of 56 days. The test specimen made of compressive strength with maximum load parameters or until the concrete collapse.Specimens with water sourced from PDAM and from the river has over 25 MPa compressive strength. Whereas specimens with different water source does not reach the compressive strength. Even with the use of brackish water, compressive strength was not achieved until 10 Mpa. Keywords: concrete compressive strength, water brackish water and peat

The population growth and diversity of activities in the community in various fields occasion requirement of water have an important issue. Especially, supply of clean water. However, the availability of water in the Merawang Subdistrict had occurs dryness cause by drought in the 2015. Finally, many people using services from the Water Supply Company (PDAM) Tirta Bangka, Merawang Subdistrict. This indicated that there is a high ability and willingness of people to pay for services of PDAM. Therefore, in this research aims to examine the relationship between Willingness to Pay (WTP) of clean water in PDAM with the urgent water needs. Type of research is quantitative research, which is located in four villages in the Merawang Subdistrict. Such as Baturusa village, Riding Panjang village, Dwi Makmur (Sunghin) village, and Merawang village. In this case, we use Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) which using questionnaires and interviews to respondents in the village. The results of research showed that the rates paid by people who are willing to be in the range of Rp.50000.00/month until Rp.99000.00/month, average Rp.73378.00/month. Based on the results, tariff of WTP is Rp.2197.00/m3. In addition, from the analysis obtained the PDAM Tirta Bangka in Merawang was installed capacity of 10 l/s and water needs in the four villages, which is constitute the PDAM service area of less than 10 l/s. This suggests that the capacity of Water Supply Company (PDAM) Tirta Bangka has enough supplies for 10 years in Merawang Subdistrict.

Electrical energy provided by the State Electricity Company (PT PLN) until now still not felt equally by the people, especially the rural communities far from the reach of the electricity grid. Some villages are not reached by electricity from the State Electricity Company has the potential micro hydro or mini micro hydro who have used. Because of these problems in doing an effort to supply needs electrical energy by making use of the conditions and potentials exist in the area. Renewable energy is energy generated from natural sources such as solar, wind and water that can be generated again and these resources will always be available and there is no negative impact on the environment, renewable energy alone can differentiate into many different types of renewable energy will but not all can be used as energy in remote regions and rural areas. (ActeWAGL, 2009). Suppose that in an area that has the potential water headnya made sufficient for power generation, then in the area can be installed powerhouse that adjusts to the size of head available. Energy itself has an important role in achieving the objectives of social, economic and environment for sustainable development as well as a supporter for the national economy. Research leading to the development of technology has been widely done primarily related to insufficient electrical energy to remote areas or rural. The research was conducted in line with the advance of the exploitation of natural energy usage in everyday life, especially water energy that is often encountered. The fundamental advantage of natural energy as electrical energy generation which amounts are always available and there is no negative impact on the environment, especially in the surrounding communities. Based on the above, and by aligning science and technology, the authors are keen to address the existing problems. The author intends to take the title "Influence of Variation Total Sudu On the Tools Mini Hydro Power Plant (micro power) To Support Energy Independent Village" .This method in this study researchers conducted a survey of the location and potential of micro power plants in Jember district. From the results of the survey at a location that will get the data taken near the District Jenggawah Renteng plantation Jember. Results of analysis In this study, researchers designed a micro power units that already exist with the re-design of the blade with a capacity of variations in the amount ranging from 1kW to use the scale in Households with usage limits ranging between 100-200 Watts for the public medium. The conclusion of this study can be concluded as follows: With the number of turbine blades 12 can generate power of 700 watts for blade . Although totaling 8 and 10, can generate 640 watts of power. Keywords: mini-hydro turbines, energy-independent

Impact testing is needed to measure the toughness of an object that requires a specimen as material to be requested. Where Impact testing specimens from metal that be moulded by casting cannot be made perfect because the angles of the notch are very difficult to make. For this reason, researchers try to make plastic specimens produced from 3D printers where notches or angles in the test specimens can be made precisely using a 3D printer. The design pattern of the plastic test specimen was made according to ASTM standard and tested using the Charpy test having a length of 73.6 mm, a width of 12.7 mm and a thickness of 10 mm, a notch shaped "V" with an angle of 45 ° alongside a notch height of 2, 54 mm . after that it is drawn 3D using 3D software then saved in STL file format then opened, saved and printed in the default software of the 3D printer. The variables researched are layer thickness and temperature. Analysis of the plastic test specimen by using a 3D printer the first is Failed in Impact testing occurred because the placement of the specimen on the charpy compressive test instrument laying would not be straight with the pendulum. The notch angle should be straight with the pendulum by checking the straight position by being photographed from the back and front of the specimen and pendulum. The second obtains if it gets a gap in the slice of the plastic specimen from the type of layer, the energy provided is smaller so that the energy absorbed can be read in the testing process through charpy. The third the plastic specimens code A and code B is getting more layers, the more energy absorbed. The fourth which shows the difference in the nozzle temperature for the plastic test specimens that are set using a nozzle temperature of 200 ° C, the initial energy given is greater and the specimen is stronger receiving the energy load than test plastic specimen using a 180 ° C temperature nozzle.

This paper discusses the soft clay soil stabilization with lime on the condition of the water content of the field. The sample used is soft clay of Marabahan, Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan. The water content of the sample is initially 76.2%. Samples were mixed with natural limestone that has been crushed and screened through a sieve No. 20 the percentage of 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20 percent based on the dry weight of the sample. Samples were mixed with lime cured for 7 and 14 days. Some of the tests performed in the laboratory include testing soil plasticity, direct shear tests, unconfined compression test, vane shear test, consolidation, and CBR. The results showed a decrease in the values of soil plasticity (liquid limit and plasticity index) and soil compression parameters (cc and cs) with the increased percentage of lime. While the values of cohesion, friction angle in, qu and qr, and CBR increases with increasing percentage of lime. The results also showed that the curing time effect on soil parameters were mixed lime.

One of the many factors that affect the compaction is the way of its compaction, the common ways which used in laboratory are Standard and Modified Proctor. The aim of this research are to use the comparison of characteristic value of soil mixtures of Padalarang Sandy Soil and Nagrek Kaolinite in the static and dynamic compaction and find a relationship among CBR with Static and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer. This research shows that at the same condition of dry density and optimum water content the compacted soil with static way get static force 8 ton and 11 ton to close standard and modified proctor results, and also to have the characteristic values less bigger than dynamic one about 3.75% to 46.68%. This item can be shown by permeability tests and the characteristics by california bearing ratio, static and dynamic cone penetrometer. Besides the water content, the percentage of Padalarang Sandy Soil and Nagrek Kaolinite’s mixture very affect the mechanic properties such as increasing of soil against the mixture with Nagrek Kaolinite will tend decreasing the CBR and qc value and increasing N DCP value. The trend of regresion curve resulted by static and dynamic compaction is similar. The approach equations which often used are non linear equations therefore the results are in a good enough and satisfied regresion coefficient about 0.8 to 1.Based on the result of tests also show that the soil mixtures of Padalarang Sandy Soil and Nagrek Kaolinite is not stable against soaked process where can be seen with the tedency of the characteristic value can not be measured in the soaked condition.

Welding is a process of joining metals by pressure when the metal are hot. Welding planning to get a good result is a complicated process. A welding work should be planned about its way, observing the material and its type of welding. The procedure of welding involves: choosing parameter of welding type of being used, type of filling metal, type and also the thickness of metal plat and condensor as mediator and some standartd condition in welding in which the parameters will effect the mechanical characters of welding. An example of welding type is Oxy-Acetyline Welding (OAW). The heat being produced is lower, so this kind of welding is good to weld the thinner stainless steel ( 3 mm). The thicker one needs a longer welding time so that, it is not economic. This kind of welding is good for a thick stainless steel before using electrical welding. This welding is used for a simple construction that is not need strength, example in the fenceof a house or for welding a house hold. This process, uses material of ST-37 steel plate with 3 mm thickness. Weld with 1-2 mm in space between thew both material. Set the barometer up on the acetyline bottle is about 0,5 bar and the pressure on oxyigene bottle is about 2,5 bar, and a weather condensor. Use RBuZn-A, RBuZn-B and RBuZn-D as filling metal. Then do test.
