Abstract

Firm value is very important because the high value of the firm which will be followed by higher shareholder wealth. This study aims to determine the effect on the value of the company’s financial performance with the dividend policy as a moderating variable. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the BEI consecutive dividend during the period 2006-2009. The results showed that: 1) liquidity not significant positive effect on firm value, 2) dividend policy is not able to significantly moderate the effect of liquidity on the value company, 3) leverage not significant negative effect on firm value, 4) dividend policy is not able to significantly moderate the effect of leverage on firm value, 5) Profitability significant positive effect on firm value, 6) dividend policy is notable tosignificantly moderate the effect of profitability on firm value

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know whether the leadership and working relationship has an influence to career development and whether career development, leadership and working relationship has an influence to job satisfaction. 255 employees in Secretariat Office of the Provincial Government of Bali were chosen with proportionate random sampling and data were collected by questionnaire. Analysis technique applies is SEM (Structural Equation Model). Based on the analysis, leadership and working relationship significantly influence employee career development. Career development and working relationships significantly influence employee satisfaction but leadership did not significantly influence employee satisfaction. This research implies that element of leadership and element of working relationships need to be increased in order to improve career development and career development needs to be improved in order to increase employee satisfaction through improved working relationship

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine the effect of atmospheric outlet and retail services toward impulsive buying through hedonic value. In this research examined four variables, namely atmospheric outlet, retail services, hedonic value as well as impulsive buying. The location of this research is at Matahari Departement Store Duta Plaza, in Denpasar with the target of population who purchase more than two times. The sample is taken by purposive sampling method.Based on Slovin formula, the number of sample about 168 consumer.Statistical Analysis was used to the test the hypothesis is Equation Model Structure (SEM). The main finding showed that the better atmospheric outlet will increase hedonic value and impulsive buying.  Similarly,the better retail service will increase hedonic value and impulsive buying, but hedonic value not able to act as pemediasi of the relationship between atmospheric outlet and retail services toward impulsive buying. Therefore from the side of Matahari Departement Store Duta Plaza, Denpasar is expected to pay more attention to its atmospheric outlet and retail service in order to increase hedonic value and impulsivebuying

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to recognize the brand awareness, brand trust, brand satisfaction, brand loyalty, and brand equity from Izykotewaterbased finishing product so we can arrange promotion strategy for the future. To carry on the purpose of those research, the research has been conducted toward for 160 respondent that taken from Kabupaten Gianyar. This research is using Purposive Sampling method by choosing a better respondent to become research sampling. The data was collected by questioner list. The analysis data did by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), and the data were processed by AMOS verse 6, and SPSS verse 15. The result of this research shows, that the brand awareness factors having positive and significant influence to the brand trust for 0.47, the brand awareness have positive influence to the brandsatisfaction for 0.42, the brand trust have positive influence to the brand loyalty for 0.30, the brand satisfaction have a positive influence to the brand loyalty for 0.40, and the variable having a directly effect on positive and significant to brand equity is customer loyalty that is 0.32. The implication of the research result are to expected the improve and increase of the working performance manager especially marketing department to takes opportunities, necessary target market, carrying handicraft worker loyalty, that can be create to brand equity. Beside that company need to keep in touch with every worker who have basic to believe or trust, having satisfaction, and loyalty to used  Izykotewaterbased finishing, that make Izykotemore stronger brand at Kabupaten Gianyar

Abstract

The research aims to investigate variables affecting Tobin’s Q which represents the value of public  companies listed on LQ45 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange by developing a  BLUE(Best Linear UnbiasedEstimators) econometric model for cross-sectional data of 2007, 2008, and 2009 as well as panel data. The models vary across different data but there are important findings to note. Public companies listed  on LQ45 Index have experienced overliquidity problem during the period of observation leading to a decline in firm’s value. In addition, those public companies have low financial risk so they have chance to  increase their debts especially long-term debts.

Abstract

The Effect of Relational Benefits on Satisfaction and Loyalty of Bank’s Customer (Study on Denpasar Mainbranch of Bank BPD Bali). This study aims to determine (1) affect of relational benefits on bank’s customer satisfaction, (2) affect of relational benefits on bank’s customer loyalty, and (3) affect  of satisfaction on bank’s customer loyalty. There were 168 respondents in this research within their criteria are individualand trade enterprise which has become a customer of Bank BPD Bali in term of at least 1 (one) year.The sample deciding method are non probability sampling by combine purposive sampling and conveniencesampling. To gain the result as the research goal, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) were analyzed by Analysis Moment of Structure (AMOS) an Special Package for Statistic Science (SPSS). The results shows that one of hypothesis not supported. Special treatment benefits has no significant affect on bank’scustomer satisfaction and loyalty. But both of relational benefits are confidence benefits and social benefits have positive and significant affect on bank’s customer satisfaction and loyalty. And the hypothesis thatcustomer satisfaction has positive and significant affect on bank’s loyalty customer is supported in this research

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect Institusional Ownership, Investment Opportunity Set, Free Cash Flow of Dividend Policy and to determine the influence of Institutional Ownership, Investment Opportunity Set, Free Cash Flow and Dividend influence on Stock Price. Population in this research are all manufacturing companies that go public and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2006 until 2008. Method of determining the sample is done by purposive sampling. The results showed that: 1) Institutional Ownership significant positive impact on Dividend Policy; 2) Investment Opportunity Set no significant effect  on Dividend Policy; 3) Free Cash Flow a significant positive impact on Dividend Policy; 4) Institutional Ownership does not significantly affect the Share Price ; 5) Investment Opportunity Set a significant positive impact on Share Price; 6) Free Cash Flow is not a significant effect on stock prices; and 7) Dividends not significantly affect the stock price.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know the influence of motivation, work environment, competence and compensation toward work satisfaction and employees performance in Public Work Agency of Bali Province. 150 sample were selected by stratified proportional random sampling among Public Work Agency of Bali Province employees. Data were collected by questionnaires and SEM were applies as an analysis technique. Based on statistical analysis, motivation and work environment have not significant influence toward work satisfaction but competence and compensation does have. Motivation and competence do not have significant influence toward employees performance but work environment and compensation does have. The implication is motivation, work environment, competence, and compensation need to be increased in order to improve employees work satisfaction. The increase of work satisfaction will be able to improveemployees performance
