Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, especially in computer and artificial intelligence (AI), there is a significant impact on various fields, including the Food and Beverage business. The use of chatbots with AI technology enables human-computer interaction in natural language, facilitating efficient ordering, information, and customer services. Chatbots are based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and are trained using Machine Learning techniques such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), with TensorFlow as the main tool. This provides ease, accuracy, and efficiency in customer service. From the conducted research, NLP- based reservation chatbots perform well and receive positive feedback from users in most aspects. Abstract

The largest source of energy in Indonesia, especially those currently used, mostly still come from non-renewable fossil fuels, which are not environmentally friendly because they produce ???????? 2 gas. Wind energy is a renewable energy source that is environmentally friendly. Apart from using natural wind energy, there is also artificial wind which is the result of wasted energy from exhaust fans as an alternative energy source for wind power plants (PLTB). Wind power that comes from the exhaust fan itself distributes the wind direction, so that the wind energy that can be collected into the turbine is not optimal, so it is necessary to install a wind tunnel. In this study, a trapezoidal wind tunnel model was designed with 2 different lengths, namely 50 cm and 100 cm, which were placed at the end of the fan inlet. This study aims to determine the effect of installing a wind tunnel on the wind speed of the exhaust fan and its effect on the input power of the exhaust fan. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The research results obtained when the addition of a 50cm blower increased wind speed from 5.8m/s to 12.8m/s, the exhaust fan capacity increased by 119 watts, from 249.2 watts to 368.2 watts, when with a 100 cm fan the wind speed increased to 119 watts. increased from 5.8 m/s to 11.8 m/s, exhaust fan power increased by 70.8 watts, from 249.2 watts to 320 watts.

Abstract

The ESP32 DEVKIT V1 - DOIT 30 Pin Peripheral Board Test Tool is a module that can be used to test the ESP32 DEVKIT V1 - DOIT 30 Pin microcontroller board. The chip of the board is ESP32 developed by Espressif Systems. ESP32 has many features or peripherals that can be used in various projects. Built-in Internet of things (IoT) is one of the leading features that can connect the board to the internet without the need for additional modules from outside. Features or peripherals that can be tested on the ESP32 DEVKIT V1 - DOIT 30 Pin Peripheral Board Test Tool, are digital i/o, ADC & DAC, dual core system, built-in touch sensor, built-n hall sensor, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Abstract

Compression in image data needs to be done to manage storage space efficiently. In this study, image compression is performed using the Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm as an approach to achieve an optimal threshold for pixel clustering in images. The performance of this image compression method is evaluated based on the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) parameters. The PSNR of DE image compression ranges from 27 dB to 40 dB with threshold levels between 10 to 40. Meanwhile, the SSIM ranges from 0.83 to 0.97 at threshold levels of 10 to 40. The PSNR and SSIM of DE image compression are both at a good level, resulting in compressed image visuals that closely resemble the original image as the threshold levels increase.

Abstract

Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport is one of the few airports in Indonesia that has PLTS as a supplier of electrical energy. The existence of PLTS at each airport is a concern for further analysis, so that the potential for electrical energy production from PLTS can be optimal. So the solar module which is the main component of PLTS is very important to pay attention to cleanliness from dirt or dust that can reduce the efficiency and electricity production of PLTS. The measurement of PLTS energy production at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport before cleaning was 567.56 kWh and after cleaning it was 576.86 kWh. In this measurement, cleaning was carried out on a series of 1 Inveter with a total of 100 solar panels. There is a change in energy production from the measurement results. This condition is due to solar panels that have not been cleaned for 1 year. So that the percentage increase in PLTS energy production at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport is 1.63%.

Abstract

A control system is defined as a combination of several components that aim to produce a system response in accordance with the desired process variables. Therefore, control systems are now widely used in various fields such as industry, automotive, public facilities, and household appliances. Especially in the industrial field, control systems play a role in improving production quality and reducing production costs. To create qualified human resources who have a good understanding in this field, universities have an important role in realizing this. One of them is Udayana University through the Electrical Engineering Study Program in the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Control System + Lab Course. This study aims to design a Digital-Based Control System + Lab Trainer Kit Module using Arduio Uno to support the process of implementing practicum in the laboratory. In the trainer kit module, there will be three systems designed, which are DC motor direction and speed control system using L298N motor driver, water heater control system using DS18B20 temperature sensor, and also water level control system using HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor.

Abstract

The installed PLTS capacity in Bali is currently still 3.44% of the target given by the General National Energy Plan (RUEN) of 108 MWp in 2025. The island of Bali has limited land availability so rooftop PLTS is a solution. The design of the rooftop PLTS was carried out on the roof of the Wisti Sabha Building at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The research uses PVSyst simulation software while the investment feasibility method uses the Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value and discounted payback period (DPP) methods. Based on the simulation results, the rooftop PLTS capacity is 56.6 kWp with energy production of 98,009 kWh/year. The B-CR value obtained is 2.23, the net present value is IDR 707,436,838.55 and the DPP is 7 years, with a rooftop solar system life of 25 years.
