Abstract

Education value and national education both have same functions and goals in shaping a good personality towards students, therefore value education is very important to build the character of the Indonesia people. The aim of this study is to determine the governance model of curriculum development of the value education and development barriers of curriculum of the value education in character building efforts. This research uses descriptive quantitative method, and sampling is taken by census, that is 46 teachers. Data were analyzed using Likert scale and also analyzed descriptively. The results show two conclusions. First, the overall assessment of the scores on the model of curriculum development of the value education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Serang City included in both categories in accordance with the average score of 4.00 and the achievement of maximum score 82. Second, the model of curriculum development of the value education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Serang City is not yet optimal, because there are still some obstacles in developing the curriculum of the value education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Serang City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline on teacher performance. After testing, it is concluded that motivation, competence, leadership, work environment have a significant effect on teacher performance. While the work discipline has no significant effect on teacher performance. It is simultaneously known that there is a significant influence between motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline collectively on teacher performance. Based on statistical test, adjusted R square (R2) is 0,736 or 73,6% indicating that 73,6% change of teacher performance variable can be explained by motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline, while the rest 26,4% explained by other variables outside the model. The result of 0.736 shows the correlation between the independent variables simultaneously to the employee performance variable has a strong correlation. While in each independent variable affect the performance of teachers are as follows: Y = 1.616 + 0.463 X1 + 0.352 X2 + 0.373 X3 + 0.635 X4 + 0.250 X5, meaning constants. Based on T test, it is found that for competence and performance variables have no effect on teacher performance, and other variables have an effect. For F test obtained the result that together independent variable influence on teacher performance at SMK NU Mojoagung Superior Jombang.

Abstract

To face the flow of globalization, it is proper for Islamic education to assimilate Western modern science and technology. This is one way to pursue the backwardness of Muslims from western civilization. However, if the assimilation process is meticulously not performed it will have an impact on the attitude of following everything that comes from the West. This is what I call the process of materialistic westernization. Modernization and globalization can influence people's attitudes in both positive and negative forms. Among these are open-minded, more dynamic, unfettered old things that are conservative, and develop an anticipatory and selective attitude in judging things that will happen, or are happening.

Abstract

Starting from the spiritual crisis that befell humans in modern era, the development of Western technology that is not balanced with the value of esoterios makes them crashing. Science that has been worshiped precisely the problem for humans by flowing the flow of globalization and information so powerful even according to Hosen Nasr, science eventually become rulers and dominate nature. The advancement of science and technology, the dominance of rationalism, empiricism and positivism, turns people into a modern life in which secularism becomes the mentality of the times and therefore spiritualism becomes a theme for modern life. Spiritual Based Education is based on the belief that education activity is worship to Allah SWT. Man was created as a holy servant of God and given the mandate to preserve the holiness. In general, spiritual-based education focuses its attention on spirituality as a prime potential for mobilizing every act of education and instruction, in this sense understood as a normative source of inspiration in educational and teaching activities, as well as spirituality as an educational goal. With the application of the concept of spiritualization of education. The integrity between faith and science, reason and religion, heart and mind is one of the models that education can effectively build a whole person. Abstract

A management capability that can be adopted in nonprofit organizations, a performance appraisal tool called the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a performance appraisal method. This method assessed the performance of a set of performance measures that have been compiled based on. The BSC bases its performance appraisal in four important perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal process perspective, and learning and growth perspective. The performance of RA Teachers is its success in providing efforts to stimulate, guide, nurture and provide learning activities that will result in skills and skills in child planning, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning processes that are based on the mental attitude and professionalism of teachers. The essence of teacher performance is none other than the ability of teachers to demonstrate the skills or competencies they have in the real world of work. The real world of teacher work is to teach children or their students in classroom learning activities, in performance based on pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence, professional competence, and leadership.

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe the efectivity of science integrated learning with immersed model to increase student responses in PGMI. Students of 4th semester majoring in PGMI Unipdu Jombang, were subjected with the tested learning method. The study was conducted in February-June 2018 with experimental method. Students’ performance was assesed through cognitive tests, observation, and interviews. Results of this study indicate that science integrated learning with immersed model to improve students responses. Student responses to science integrated learning with immersed model is positive.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and explore the internalization of the value of PAI in SD Plus Rahmat Kediri through school strategies and programs as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in realizing religious culture through exemplary and habituation. The approach taken is a qualitative approach through a case study design so that the data is analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/data verification. School strategies and programs as an effort to internalize the value of PAI are carried out in the presence of several programs: 5S; prayer in congregation; memorize short letters and recite the al-Qur’ān using the ummī method; pray when going to start activities and end activities; and exemplary and habitual morality. The role of school people and parents becomes meaningful support for the implementation of this program, obstacles appear in some parents who have different vision and mission of education with the school, teacher assistance that is not optimal in every religious activity and school facilities does not support the development of religious culture efforts are made to make improvements including musala. Therefore, good relations and cooperation between all parties are needed to create an institution that internalizes the values of Islamic religious education.
