Abstract

Inflation and unemployment are closely watched indicators in the economy of a country. The consumers in a goods market are willing to get the goods and services at a relatively lower price, or in other words, they expect a low inflation rate. However, if the inflation rate is low, the incentive of producers to produce more is low, and employment will not happen. Therefore, there are trade-off between inflation and unemployment. This phenomenon is called the Phillips curve. This  study  aims  to  analyze the causal relationship  between  inflation  and  unemployment in Indonesia. We use inflation rate and open unemployment rate from 1986-2018 collected from Statistics Indonesia (bps.go.id). We employed the Granger causality method and found that there is no causal relationship, either one-way or two-way, between inflation and unemployment. Further, we analyzed using simple linear regression and found that inflation significantly affects unemployment and vice-versa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of Sales Growth on Profitability mediated by Debt Policy (Case Study on Retail Trading Subsector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2012-2019 period. The research method used is a quantitative method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and the number of samples is 17 companies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, regression analyst, hypothesis testing, path analysis and Sobel test which are tested through the SPSS program. The test results show that sales growth and debt policy have a significant positiveeffect on company profitability, beside that sales growth have a significant positive effect on a company's debt policy. In the mediation test, it is proven that debt policy is not able to mediate the effect of sales growth on the profitability of companies in the retail trade sub-sector.

Abstract

The focus of the discussion in this paper is related to Islamic branding as a marketing strategy to consumers. With the aim of knowing and describing how the influence of Islamic branding in product marketing to Muslim consumers. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptivemethode with  a literature study approach with the main data source coming from journals, with the point of view of the Quran, hadith and other related scientific works. This study shows the concept of Islamic branding in accordance with sharia law, which in marketing strategies can have an effect on building Muslim consumer trust. With the halal label from the MUI, consumers will not worry about consuming a product with an Islamic brand because the halalness of the product has been confirmed. With this trust, it will influence consumer decisions and can increase sales of a product.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel DAR (Debt to Asset), DER (Debt to Equity), ROA (Return On Assets), ROE(Return Equity), EPS (Earning Per Share) terhadap PBV (Price Book Value) perusahaan sub sektor Food and Beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier beganda dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Populasi pada peneliti ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor food and beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa efek Indonesia periode 2014-2017. Sampel yang digunakan pada peneliti ini sebanyak 11 perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel DAR (Debt to Asset), DER (Debt to Equity), ROA(Return On Assets), ROE (Return Equity), EPS (Earning Per Share) memiliki  pengaruh signikan terhadap PBV (Price Book Value).

Abstract

The aim of this study is to research and examine the effect of Mudharaba, Musyaraka, Murabaha financing on sharia financial performance moderated by sharia supervisory board on sharia bankings in Indonesia during 2013-2016. This study employed descriptive quantitative method by using secondary data i.e. data of Financing, and Return on Asset of sharia banking companies in the period of 2013-2016. The samples were reports published continuously from 2013 to 2016 and financial statements which have complete data based on researched variables derived through purposive sampling. To analyze the data, this study used some tests of multiple linear regression, classical assumption, and hypotheses test which included coefficient determination test of R2, F test, and t test. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the factors that affect sharia financial performance (ROA) included Mudharaba, Musharaka and Murabaha financing, where all independent variables have significant effect on ROA. While DPS has been successful in moderating the correlation of mudharaba and Musyarakah variable and ROA but DPS has not been successful in moderating the correlation of Murabah and ROA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze macro indicators against the rupiah exchange rate against the United States dollar using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) in the period January 2010 to December 2020. In the modeling, several macroeconomic variables are used against the rupiah exchange rate against the United States dollar, namely export, import, money supply, and inflation. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The results of this study indicate that in the long and short term, the export variable has a significant negative effect on the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar. In the long and short term, the import variable has a significant positive effect on the rupiah exchange rate against the United States dollar. And in the long and short term, the money supply and inflation variables has no significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate against the United States dollar.

Abstract

Currently, with the advancement of information technology and the increasing number of Indonesian markets, more than 60% of Indonesians including millennials, entrepreneurs, employees, and housewives, have switched to using marketplaces such as Tokopedia, Shopee, Lazada, etc. for their daily needs. In this study, researchers want to summarize customer satisfaction when using the Shopee marketplace, especially those related to the services provided by PT. J&T Express Indonesia is located at the Koja Jakarta Utara. Researchers used raw data from a questionnaire of 100 respondents and used the IPA and CSI methods as analytical measuring tools to understand customer satisfaction. From the results of this study using the IPA method, there are several indicators of customer satisfaction that need to be improved both in quadrants I, II, III, and IV. Of the four quadrants, quadrant IV needs to improve the performance of the J&T Express company, although customers are satisfied customers also don't expect much from the J&T Express company. And if use the CSI method, you get 80.36%, which means that customers are satisfied with the services provided by J&T Express Indonesia.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the influence of intellectual capital, capital structure, and sales growth on the financial performance of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The sample used in this study is food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2020. This research data collection method uses secondary data. The sampling method used purposive sampling technique. Methods of data analysis using multiple regression analysis. Based the test results, it is simultaneously shows that financial performance, capital structure, and sales on financial performance in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The partial test results show that intellectual capital has significant positive effect on financial performance, debt policy has significant negative effect on financial performance and sales growth has no significant effect on financial performance.

Abstract

World Bank: MSMEs Most Affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic. In order for MSMEs to transform, it is necessary to integrate government assistance and assistance with the digital ecosystem. Three extraordinary ideas for national economic recovery. A number of local governments have provided stimulus to help micro, small and medium enterprises to rise from adversity due to the Covid-19 pandemic. MSMEs are the driving force of the economy, there must be strategies and policies to develop MSMEs. Business challenges for MSMEs during the pandemic: it is difficult to expand, and company finances are disrupted. To overcome this problem, business people can implement a number of strategies so that the business can run smoothly, namely ensuring a healthy cash flow. The Ministry of Cooperatives has four pillar policies to help MSMEs go digital faster: modern cooperative policies, ease of business licenses, strategy development and business incubation to increase the support capacity of MSME development. The government has provided a stimulus for MSMEs in the form of subsidized interest assistance, credit restructuring and tax incentives. There are 4 advantages of digitizing MSMEs: financial benefits through increased sales, opportunity creation, benefits for buyers with the opportunity to earn 11-25% of retail prices, and social cooperation. Some tips so that MSMEs can survive in the midst of the corona virus: focus on consumer needs, keep going and be creative, develop research and development to increase resilience when the crisis hits, MSMEs will not be complacent because the competition will be tougher, prepare the next one to become a leader MSMEs of the future, maintain good reciprocal relationships with vendors, suppliers and distributors, join MSME organizations as a means of network and business development, collaborate with banks as strategic partners for financing sources. As a conclusion, solving MSME problems does not open their hands, but with serious, collective and integrated efforts, and never give up from the government together with BI, financial services authorities and MSME actors themselves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh sistem administrasi perpajakan modern, kesadaran wajib pajak dan Sanksi Manajemen Perpajakan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak orang pribadi yang berada di KPP Pratama Pandeglang dan KPP Prtama Cilegon. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Penentuan responden dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode accidental sampling dengan banyaknya responden sebesar 100 Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi. Metode analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sistem administrasi perpajakan modern berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak, kesadaran wajib pajak berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan wajb pajak, dan Sanksi Manajemen Perpajakan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak ditinjau dari perspektif Technology Acceptance Model  and Theory of Planned Behavior.
