Abstract

This research in order to increase student’s learning activities and values in class VIID MTs Al-Badri in topic social organization using medium Mind Map improved with Prezi features. This research is kind of classroom action research (CAR) that is designed in two cycles and each cycle consists of four phases e.g planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of this research are student of grade VIID that are 33 female in number. Methods of collecting data that is used in this research are observations, interview, tests and documents. Analysis of activities data obtained from the student activity observation by observer when the teacher do the corrective actions in class, and analysis of student learning values obtained from test scores of students daily tests. This research shows that medium use Mind Map improved with Prezi feature in learning process can increase students' learning activities where student with less active category (total score: 352) become more active with total score 478 in cycle 1 and become very active category in cycle 2 with total score 555. This condition also happen in student learning values where the percentage of students who scored above the KKM before the action by 15%, and after the implementation of the first cycle increased to 36% and in cycle 2 until 76%. Based on the data analysis can be seen that by using media Mind Map improved with Prezi feature can increase student’s activities and student’s learning values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the trend of the number of train passengers Logawa years 2011-2013 relating to ticket prices in Daop IX Jember. Determining the location of the study using purposive area. The main data is secondary data, data collection techniques using documents, observation, and interviews. Analysis of the data using trend analysis with Least Square method. The results showed that the trend of the number of train passengers Logawa years 2011-2013 decreased. Logawa rail passenger numbers decrease with the price change. When prices rise, the number of passengers has decreased. People prefer other transportation as a substitute bus train Logawa such as, travel, or personal vehicles more affordable. The number of train passengers Logawa also influenced by other factors, such as community needs to use the train Logawa. The decrease trend of the number of passengers in 2011-2013 led to predictions of the number of train passengers Logawa 2014 also decreased.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe the marketing strategy of home industry of Batik Sumbersari at Maesan Bondowoso. The determining location method was purposive area, whereas the subject is the owner of Batik Sumbersari Maesan Bondowoso, and the data collection method was interviews, observation, and documents. Then the obtained data tested its validity through triangulation techniques. Based on the research results, Batik Sumbersari Maesan Bondowoso able to expand its business using the application of STP strategy (segmentation, targeting, positioning) rightly, and the creativity and professionalism make its products exclusive, elegant and luxury with its market segment is a burgeoning middle class constituted by social high class. Obviously, the consumers is an adults who have incomes more than enough. The target has been achieved not only within the domestic area but also at the foreign countries. Batik Sumbersari perform positioning by placing themselves as superior batik at the consumers’ mind by always maintain the quality of its batik tulis products which supported by a great concept  “one product one design one color” that makes Batik Sumbersari Maesan Bondowoso growing abroad.

Abstract

Form of information technology that can be used as a media learning is to use e-learning. E-learning is innovation that would is used in learning, not only for learning material but also a change in the various competence students. Components form e-learning is e-learning infrastructure, the system and application e-learning and content e-learning. E-learning benefits for the world general education, namely: (1) flexibility place and time, (2) independent learning, (3) costs, (4) flexibility speed learning, (5) standardization teaching, (6) the effectiveness of teaching, (7) speed distribution, (8) on-demand availability, e-learning can be accessedd at any moment, (9) automation the process of administration. The strategy of e-learning are to support the implementation of a learning process, expected to improve absorption capacity from school tuition over the materials given, increase active participation from school tuition, improve the ability of independent study school tuition, material improve the quality of education and training, improve the ability of the displays information with a device information technology, expand the teaching and learning process by the use of the internet, not just limited to space and time. The e-learning involving four first is analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Conclusions from the discussion is information technology and telecommunications cheap and easily would eliminate the cap time and space been limit education world. Some logical consequence occurring include (1) students can easily take the material learning anywhere without limited in scope the place and time; (2) students can easily learning and discuss with the experts at things that they are interested in; (3) the material of learning even can easily taken in every corner of the world without depending on where students learn. But that opportunities was still face the challenges in costs aspect, the readiness of infrastructure information technology, the community, and regulations support for the e-learning. Education world in Indonesia has undergo development significant. The development is visible from more and learning diversity of method used. Methods used often utilized various media to improve the quality of lessons. The development of various media learning this along with the technological progress rapidly. The dynamics of this technology will reach remarkable acceleration. The technology that have learned from few years a go now starts replaced with the new various technology including the conventional learning ways. The form of information technology that can be used as a media learning is named e-learning. E-learning is innovation that can be used in learning process, not only for learning material but also a change in the various competence students. Through e-learning, learners not only listen to the discussion material from educator but also active in observing, do, demos, and so on. The material of learning can be virtualizatied in a variety of formats so it could more interesting and more dynamic in order to motivate students in learning. The utilization of technology telecommunications to learning activities college in Indonesia has conducive with the enactment of minister decree the ministry of national education (sk minister) 2001 that encourage college conventional to implement distance learning (dual mode). To a climate this favorable, some colleges has done many preparations, as the assignment lecturers to (a) follow training about the development of material electronic text, (b) identifying various platforms learning electronic that available , and (c) experiment about the use of platform learning electronic certain to present matter lecture.

Abstract

Blended learning is an evolving phenomenon that offers promise for addressing challenges such as students creativity, students learning outcomes and some aspects of academy. It has been is a teaching strategy that utilizes Internet technologies (E-Learning) combined with face-to-face in the classroom. These models have been applied in order to increase students’ creativity and learning achievement. This Class Action Research is in two cycles. It aims to improve student’s creativity and learning achievement in class XI IPS-2 SMA Negeri 5 Jember, school year of 2015/2016, on the subject of economics. This research refers to the Kemmis model that consists of four components: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in class XI IPS -2 SMA Negeri 5 Jember. The data was collected used observations, test, and interview. The data analysis used the quantitative descriptive analysis. The results show as follows: (1) Blended Learning can increase students' creativity. It can be seen from average scores on the observations, students' creativity increased from 47,5% (High) in first cycle, and 58,19% (Very High) in second-cycle. (2) Students learning outcomes after the implementation of Blended Learning has increased, the average percentage of scores is 68.73 on first-cycle and 75.04 on secondcycle.The percentage of mastery learning is 73%, on the first cycle, and 80% ont second cycle, (3). Students learning outcomes on affective score increase from 10,88 (on the level of High) on first cycle to 14,58 ( Very High) on second cycle.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the career woman in disciplining tips to manage your child pocket money a child in the District Housing Wonorejo Kedungjajang Lumajang. Method of determining the location of research using purposive method that area in the District Housing Wonorejo Kedungjajang Lumajang. Technique of determining the research informants using purposive sampling. Subject of research is a career woman in Housing Wonorejo District of Kedungjajang Lumajang as many as 43 people, to key informants namely 5 career women who have children of school (junior high or senior high school) and to the informant as much additional 5 children middle school age (junior or senior). Data collection methods consisted of interviews, observation, and documents. Analysis of the data to be used are data reduction, data presentation (Display Data), and conclusions or verification. The results showed that the issue of women's career in child discipline to manage pocket money includes teaching children to save money in the bank, records all transactions spending money, provide an understanding of the difference between needs and wants, to teach future planning, teaching children to share with others, and reducing the impact of advertising on children's consumer goods. So, with the few efforts were made by the old man with the hope to discipline children in managing pocket money, children can respond to the education savings made by parents. In this case the child becomes interested in saving money as well as better understand the benefits of saving for their future lives.

Abstract

Saving motivation is a self-boosting to undertake an activity to spare fund which is useful in the future. This research aimed to analyze housewives’ saving motivation and to analyze the allocation of the use of houseife’s savings in administrative village of Kebonsari, District of Sumbersari, Jember Regency.The research location was determined using purposive method, that is, administrative village of Kebonsari, District of Sumbersari, Jember Regency. Data were collected by document search, interviews and observation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation and then conclusion drawing. Based on data on the field, it was found that housewives’ saving motivations in administrative village of Kebonsari were setting goals of saving, determining the allocation of saving time, saving budget by a certain time and being persistent. Saving motivations which were rarely set by housewives were making expenditure records and reconsidering of money saving. Furthermore, the saving motivations that were never set by housewives were cutting spendings, considering priority, and terminating the use of creditn cards. The savings allocations made by housewives were for tuition, disaster anticipation, unemployment or retirement anticipation, the cost of repairing or buying household appliances and funds for celebration of important religious holidays and weddings. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of students' perceptions of the Islamic Bank for saving interest in Islamic Banking (a case study on the Economics Education student class of 2011 and 2012 FKIP University of Jember). This research is correlational. The area determination method at Economic Education program, University of Jember. Furthermore, the respondent determination method of this research is proportional random sampling. There are 66 students of Economic Education chosen to be the respondent. Data collection methods used consist of methods: questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. This study used editing, processing, and tabulation as data processing technique. The data collection method is inferential analysis / statistics by using simple regression line analysis, variance analysis of the regression line, the F test, the effectiveness of the regression line, and standard error of estimate in a simple regression line. The result of the research showed that there was a significant effect on students' perceptions of variables Islamic Bank against the interest of saving money in the education of students of Islamic Banking in the economy class of 2011 and 2012 FKIP University of Jember, as much as 77.7%. While the remaining 22.3% influenced by other variables in which did not count in this study, among others, of society such as the reference group (family or peers). In conclusion , the students have positive perception and good respond toward Islamic Bank, then the student will have the desire / interest to save money on the Islamic Bank. Conversely, if the perception held by students about Islamic Bank negative / bad, hence the desire to save the student will also be small.
