Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a profession/work performed by a person professionally in the field of business/ business. Entrepreneur is someone who has a positive mental attitude, so enterprising above its own merits. Entrepreneurship and Self is the sense of the term foreign Indonesia Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneur. Mental attitude of self-employed as a tendency within an entrepreneur to behave entrepreneurship in the business world in response to objects by basing ourselves on the knowledge and feelings about the values of entrepreneurship. The values of entrepreneurship that include (a) had the idea/ideas, (b) had the initiative/initiatives, (c) have the inventiveness/creativity, (d) have confidence in yourself, (e) have a clear purpose in life , (f) have the courage to face risks, (g) always work together, (h) is not inferior/shame, and (i) have the entrepreneurial skills and salesmanship.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Theoretical Perspectives

Abstract

Tourism development should pay attention to the preservation of environmental quality, because in the tourism industry, the environment that actually sold. One alternative tourism development that can maintain the quality of the environment to maintain its sustainability is agrotourism. Agro tourism is a tourist attraction that utilize agricultural land for the attraction. One of agrotourism in the district of Jember is Agro Tourism Gumitir Mountain Coffee Plantation gives a new sensation that distinctiveness owned natural mountain. Based on the existing problems, the objectives to be achieved in this research is to describe the marketing strategy agro coffee estates around Mount gumitir Jember. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Location research using purposive area, while to determine the study subjects using purposive sampling method. Data collection methods used consisted of interviews, observation, and documents. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the Agro Plantation Coffee Mount Gumitir use various marketing strategies in marketing their products. Marketing strategy undertaken by a team of marketing agro first is mapping the area to be used as a marketing venue. Then connected with marketing as more private uses a strategic one on one, door to door, and a SWOT analysis. In addition to using these strategies, agro tourism also use STP strategy (segmentation, targeting, positioning) to enter the desired market segment. Team marketing of agro expected over optimize 4P marketing strategies. Optimization 4P marketing strategies can be more focused on the promotion so that consumers who visit not only domestic consumers but also foreign.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the economic impact of the implementation program community based forest management (CBFM). This program collaboration between Institute Perhutani and local institutions (Lembaga Masyarakat Desa Hutan (LMDH) Petani Hutan Lestari which become as a partner. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in income that is felt by the villagers Grajagan incorporated in Sustainable Forest Farmers LMDH. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The place of the research is determined by using purposive area method and result Grajagan village as the location. Data collection of the research used interview, observation, and documents method. The results showed that the CBFM program Perhutani economic impact by increasing the income of rural communities in Grajagan. It is obtained from tumpangsari system, the additional work in forestry so that people get an additional wage and also any profit sharing that can increase the income of rural communities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to empower the low economic society of Harjomulyo Village especially the housewife who be a coffee’s farmer and have a limitedness to get a job because of the low education. The researcher collaborate with the one of student from Agriculture Technique Faculty in optimalize the waste of robusta coffee’s bark as the one of nature resourches. The researcher empower by training  the housewife to utilize the waste of robusta coffee’s bark to be a briquet. The implementation of empowerment by training not only improve the knowledge and skill that can be a productive activity when the harvest finish, but also the briquet can be an alternative energy subtitute gas and kerosene. Based on the result of the research, briquet not more eficien in using than gas and kerosene. But, because of the simple procedure and the cheap cost, it give the opportunity to the society to increase the income by selling a briquet. This research use the Action Research approach. The data collection methods that use in this research are document method, observation, interview, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The Data analysis using the Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) method. The purpose of this method is to produce the monitoring about poverty condition at Harjomulyo Village and then make it become reference in producing the planning decision of the tackling poverty and the implementation program.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know (1) the implementation of learning model numbered head & apos; together and group investigation to their students class xi multimedia subjects entrepreneurship, (2) learning model numbered head & apos; together and group investigation can increased the motivation to study, (3) learning model numbered head & apos; together and group investigation can improve learning outcomes students .The research is the kind of research actions has class by adopting both qualitative .The result of this research has been proven able to increase the motivation to study students from the cycle to cycle .In cycle i the highest scores obtained is 92 and a score maximum 96 , with the average value of 95,83 % and included in a category very well and gain points a.In cycle ii the highest scores obtained is 94 and a score maximum 96, with the average value of 97,92 % . And included in a category very well and gain points A. In addition this research show some improvement against learning outcomes of students who seen the result of pre-test before the act with the results of pos-test given during the the end of the act of .The results of the cycle pre-test i show students who had been completed as many as 15 students and the 36,59 % and that have not been solved as many as 26 students (63,41 %) .The results of the cycle post-test i show some improvement learning outcomes with students of work completed in as many as 17 students (41.46 %) and that have not been solved as many as 24 students (58,54 %).The results of the cycle pre-test ii show students had been completed as many as 36 students (87,80 %) and that have not been solved as many as 5 students (12,20 %) .To yield post-test cycle ii also show some improvement learning outcomes and the number of students work completed in as many as 37 students (90,24 %) and that have not been solved as much as 4 students (9.76 %)Key Words : numbered head together,group investigation, Motivation, study of results and entrepreneurship

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the kind and innovation of printing product at Firgie Printing Company. This research kind is descriptive qualitative. The determination of the location of research using the method of purposive area in Firgie Printing Company at Jalan Pura Wates number 34 Canggu Village, District North Kuta, Badung. The determinan of the informants of techniq using purposive sampling. The subject of this research is all part of organization Firgie Printing Company and the consumer printing product Firgie Printing Company. Data collection technique used consisted of interview method, of observation, and documentation. Data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result showed Firgie Printing Company produce six kind of printing product, it is hang tag, paper bag, box printing, label printing, name card, and brosur. The innovative printing product from Firgie Printing Company is hang tag Aloha Lani Law, hang tag Muchacho and name card Sarti Restaurant, because it’s fulfill the principle of innovative product.

Abstract

This is an action research which is done by housewives empowering as labors in plantation. This research is conducted to enrich the skills and knowledge. The attempt in empowering the housewives is done by observing natural resources around their environment, especially the resource which has not been used optimally such as wasted coffee leaves from wiwilan. Training is given to the housewives as the attempt of empowering, such as processing of coffee leaves into Kawa coffee. It is a kind of tea from coffee leaves. Besides to enrich skill, knowledge, and to give productive alternative activity, this training also produces kawa coffee that can enrich the kinds of beverages and decrease the cost to buy coffee and tea. The data collection method which is used in this research is observation, documents, interview, Rural Rapid Appraisal (RRA) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Whereas the data analysis is described in the form of narration and then it is displayed in result analysis.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is the company's plan to develop a product or service which is accordance with the stated goals of the company. This research had to describe the marketing strategy of culinary business of kober mie setan that located at Karimata street 67 Jember. This type of research used is descriptive qualitative approach. The research location was determined by using purposive area method was held in kober mie setan that located in Karimata Street 67 Jember city. Analysis of the data in this study consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion Based on this research, it can be know that the kober mie setan that located at Karimata street 67 jember is one of the culinary business that implemented several marketing strategies for their culinary business There were four marketing strategies used by kober mie setan for their culinary business, such as: product strategy, area strategy, pricing strategy and promotionstrategy.

Abstract

The research is descriptive qualitative aims to describe survival strategy of small farmers in the village sindetlami besuk sub-district probolinggo district. The determination of the place research using methods purposive the area. A subject of study in this experiment using a snowball that small farmers in rural district sindetlami visit in probolinggo. Data collection in this study using a method of in-depth interviews , observation or observation , and documents .Analysis of data used namely the reduction of data, presentation of ( display ) data , verification or conclusion .Based on the results of research , that small farmers in the village sindetlami classified as poor because of income received from the farm is not enough to meet all their family needs .Poverty makes small farmers applying survival strategy to stay could live. There are 3 strategies which is small farmers to remain active, is a living, the passive and the strategy.A small farmers are actively conducted by seeking side occupation, family members to work and optimize resources we have.The strategy is that small farmers do that by applying a frugal lifestyle. Strategy tissue done small farmers are requesting assistance to social networking they have, both the formal and informal network as neighbors, to borrow money or fiduciary to the bank.

Abstract

This study is based on the assumption that the staffare human resources with power, potential, and capability.However, not all the staff have the ability to optimize their powerto yield the best performancein the organization. Therefore, theattempt of the leaders to empower his staff is needed to makeproduce more creative, innovative, independent and responsiblestaff to support the enchancement of the corporate competitivepotential. The empowerement attempt is enfluenced by thebehavior orientation by the leader. Te problems raised in this study are : what is leader’s behavior like at the KPRI in the Jember Regency?; to what extent does the leader’s behavior influence the staff empowerement attempts at the KPRI in the Jember Regency?; which leader’s behavior type has the most profound influence on the staff empowerement attemps at the KPRI in the Jember Regency?.The main technique used in the data collection was by questionnaire. The data analyzed by descriptive analytical, correlation and multiple regression techniques.The findings of the study indicate that 87,10% the leaders at the KPRI in the Jember Regency implement the task-and-relationship oriented behavior. Most of the of the leaders at the KPRI in the Jember Regency (87,10%) showed high staff empowerement attempts. The multiple regression analysis shows that simultaneously, there was significant influence of the leaders with task-oriented behavior andthose with realionship-oriented behavior on the staffempowerement attempt at the KPRI in the Jember Regency (R =0,8983 ; F = 58, 57416; F Significance = 0,0000). The partial regression coefficient for the task-oriented behavior of the leaders was 0,276402 where as that for variable the relationship-oriented behavior was 1,625408. The contributing influence was 80,71%, and the remaining 19,29% was contributed by the variables outside the investigation. The leaders relationship-oriented bahavior contributed higher influence than the task-oriented one on the staff empowerement attempts at the KPRI in the Jember Regency. In short, the leaders is relationship-oriented behavior had the most profound influence on the staff empowerement attempts at the KPRI in the Jember Regency.Keyword : Leaders Behavior, Staff Empowerement
