Abstract

Augmented Reality is now used in many fields, including in terms of helping the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of interrelated based on Technology Acceptance model, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Easy to Use, Behavioral Intention Use, and Actual System Use on the use of Augmented Reality based card game. This research resulted that hypothesis in this research accepted after going through data analysis process from questionnaire result. A huge interest in the use of Augmented Reality-based games as actual technology as a factor in whether or not the game is accepted. Users, viewed in terms of ease of use and the benefits posed by the game is also very influential on the acceptance of games based on Augmented Reality.

Abstract

Along with the increasing population of Indonesia which is also followed by the increasing rate of urbanization in the industrial sector, certainly affects the reduced agricultural sector to increase food needs. Greenhouse can be one solution to solve this problem, by utilize greenhouse our enviroment can be controlled and also protect the plants from outside interference. During this condition is still done manually both to measure the temperature or watering the plants. In this study the author developed a system to monitor and automate room temperature and soil moisture in greenhouse by utilizing Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology. The system consists of 1 node temperature and humidity chamber and 1 node of greenhouse soil moisture where each node is composed of arduino uno as its microcontroller, ESP8266 as Wi-Fi module, sensor, and relay. The results of monitoring and automation data will be sent to the web server by wireless, to make it easier for greenhouse farmers and monitoring their greenhouse. The results of this study can be found that the system is able to monitor and perform automatic control of temperature decrease, when the temperature reaches more than 28C and able to increase soil moisture automatically when the soil moisture is less than 40%, in addition by using ESP8266 data monitoring and automation results can be sent to the web server but based on the test results obtained that the maximum range of data transmission is 50 meters from the node to the access point.

Abstract

Data mining has a background with the condition of an abundance of data (the overload data) and the explosion of information faced by companies, institutions, or organizations that have been stored for many years. This situation is also faced in several universities that store various kinds of data, especially new admissions databases. However, the abundant data has not been widely used in digging the information or knowledge that can help university management in making strategic plans. Every year there are new students who retire and do not register, therefore, it takes an application that can process a lot of data to find out the possible retirement for new students. To find out the prediction of retirement prospective students, this paper uses C.45 algorithm. The method can change the very large fact into a decision tree that represents the rule. The result of this research is the application can classify the new students in a tree structure in order that it can produce a rule. This application is able to predict the possibility of the retirement of the new student. With this application, it is expected that the possibility of a prospective student retiring from college can be known at an early stage, so the management can make a decision easily. Development of this application uses PHP as the interface application system and MySql in-database processing. The system development methodology uses the waterfall model

Abstract

Javanese script is one of the ancestral heritage of Indonesia that must be preserved. Nowadays javanese script is increasingly abandoned, since latin writing is often used in daily activities. This is become worse by student difficulties of learning to read and write javanese script because the methods are less attractive for example teacher centered learning. One of solution to solve this problem is interactive latin to javanese script transliteration application. Research on the latin to javanese script transliteration has been produced various applications such as JawaTex, Hanacaraka, and Pandawa. From these three applications is showed that the Pandawa application with decision tree method has the highest level of accuracy. However, the computational time required by this application method is also highest than other applications. The more transliterated text is conduct the longer process time is used. This research aims to shorten Pandawa application computing time with parallel computing method without modifies decesion tree algorithm. Parallel computing is implemented with multithread on java programming language to perform the process of latin into javanese script transliteration simultaneously. Experimental results obtained that the implementation of multithread in decicion tree method for latin into javanese script transliteration reduce the average computation time up to 97.05%.

Abstract

Free riding behaviour is a problem that has been around for many years. With all the new technological advances, there is much more collaborative work supported by online tools. These developments make it easier for individuals to become a free rider. This research carried out a literature study, to find the best method to reduce free-riding behaviour. Besides the methods, this study also elaborates some factors that trigger free riders in a group. The methods which are highlighted in this research are the implementation of assessments, group awareness tools, sufficient group size and enhancing team morale. However, the study found that none of the methods cover all the aspects of free-riding behaviour. It is suggested by this research to combine and improve various methods, to a new method that can effectively reduce free-riding behaviour in collaborative work with computer-supported tools.

Abstract

Portable Document Format is a very powerful type of file to spread malware because it is needed by many people, this makes PDF malware not to be taken lightly. PDF files that have been embedded with malware can be Javascript, URL access, media that has been infected with malware, etc. With a variety of preventive measures can help to spread, for example in this study using the classification method between dangerous files or not. Two classification methods that have the highest accuracy value based on previous research are Support Vector Machine and Random Forest. There are 500 datasets consisting of 2 classes, namely malicious and not malicius and 21 malicius PDF features as material for the classification process. Based on the calculation of Confusion Matrix as a comparison of the results of the classification of the two methods, the results show that the Random Forest method has better results than Support Vector Machine even though its value is still not perfect.

Abstract

The Internet today has become a primary need for its users. According to market research company e-Marketer, there are 25 countries with the largest internet users in the world. Indonesia is in the sixth position with a total of 112.6 million internet users. With the increasing number of internet users are expected to help improve the economy and also education in a country. To be able to increase the number of internet users, especially in Indonesia, it is necessary to predict for the coming years so that the government can provide adequate facilities and pre-facilities in order to balance the growth of internet users and as a precautionary step when there is a decrease in the number of internet users. The data used in this study focus on data on the number of internet users in 25 countries in 2013-2017. The algorithm used is Artificial Neural Network Backpropagation. Data analysis was processed by Artificial Neural Network using Matlab R2011b (7.13). This study uses 5 architectural models. The best network architecture generated is 3-50-1 with an accuracy of 92% and the Mean Squared Error (MSE) is 0.00151674.

Abstract

Blockchain turns both currencies and commodities into a digital form without relying on middleman which allows one person to trade with another include trading the renewable energy. Blockchain technology as a secure and low-cost platform to track the billions of eventual transactions in a distributed energy economy has attracted the attention of experts in various fields of science. The current form of centralized energy trading system is still suffering from security concerns, quality of service, and to name a few. A decentralized energy system using blockchain technology allows the parties to create a trading energy transaction via microgrid. The blockchain technology offers the promise of an immutable, single source of truth from multiple sources without a third-party involvement. In this paper, we describe, explore and analyze the prominent implementation of blockchain technology in the energy sector. Furthermore, we analyze the security issues and highlight the performance of several attacks that might be occurred in the proposed system.

Abstract

Data plays a vital role particularly in mining enterprises to foster innovation and business performance through precise decision-making. Scientists have created many kinds of database technology to support them, such as big data, data cloud, etc. Meanwhile business is always facing a fluctuant situation in using those various database technologies. Unfortunately, there is still hard to use database technology in a proper way because there are no model rules in making a perfect planning so that they can choose suitable tools for its own case. Therefore, this paper aims to design an agile enterprise data architecture model rules (blueprint) in mining company based on various frameworks, tools and methods/techniques so that managers can govern their data asset for sustainably business-IT alignment. This data architecture reference models can be easily adopted by CIOs in order to move toward an integrated mining enterprises as well as guide user in producing a precise decision-making.
