Abstract

Abstract Nigeria's cultural heritage, encompassing rich traditions, historical landmarks, and intangible practices, faces threats from urbanization, globalization, and inadequate preservation efforts. Virtual Reality (VR) offers an innovative solution for documenting, preserving, and promoting this heritage by creating immersive and interactive experiences. This paper explores the application of VR in preserving Nigeria's tangible and intangible cultural heritage, including oral traditions, traditional festivals, and historical landmarks like the Sukur Cultural Landscape and Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove. While VR has gained traction globally in cultural heritage preservation, its adoption in Nigeria remains limited due to challenges such as high costs, limited accessibility, and lack of localized content. By addressing these gaps, VR can enhance cultural awareness, engage younger generations, and boost cultural tourism. This study highlights existing works in VR applications for cultural preservation globally and identifies opportunities for tailored VR solutions in the Nigerian context. The findings emphasize the importance of collaborative approaches involving technologists, researchers, and cultural custodians to ensure effective VR integration. Ultimately, the study advocates for leveraging VR to safeguard Nigeria’s cultural legacy, offering innovative pathways to promote its heritage on a global scale while ensuring intergenerational continuity. Abstract

Abstrak Perpustakaan Atma Luhur yang saat ini berfungsi sebagai sarana pendukung dan penyedia literatur ilmiah untuk pembelajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat, juga menjadi repository untuk tulisan ilmiah seperti skripsi dan tugas akhir mahasiswa. Layanan repository disediakan dalam format digital agar memudahkan mahasiswa untuk mengaksesnya secara terbuka. Sistem layanan repository digital berbasis web ini sudah beroperasi sejak 2018 dan belum pernah diaudit. Audit sistem informasi diperlukan untuk memantau apakah layanan telah berjalan sesuai dengan visi dan misi perpustakaan dan perguruan tinggi. Pada penelitian kali ini, fokus audit sistem informasi menggunakan kerangka COBIT 4.1. khususnya domain Monitor dan Evaluate (ME). Domain ME ini menunjukkan penilaian perguruan tinggi atau Monitoring Process (ME1), lalu pengawasan internal agar sesuai peraturan kampus atau Internal Control Adequacy (ME2). Berikutnya adalah pengawasan terhadap peraturan eksternal yang terkait atau Regulatory Compliance (ME3), dan pengawasan terhadap keselarasan peraturan, pemanfaatan IT dan tujuan bisnis secara umum atau External Requirement Alignment (ME4). Audit ini melibatkan tiga responden yaitu Kepala Perpustakaan dan dua staf perpustakaan. Hasil olah data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan sistem saat ini berada di level 3, artinya prosedur telah berjalan baik, namun ada potensi kesalahan yang tak terdeteksi. Rekomendasi peningkatan di masa depan, adalah memperkuat pengawasan internal dan eksternal, serta melibatkan beberapa mekanisme tambahan seperti peningkatan keamanan layanan. Kata kunci: Monitor and Evaluate (ME), Institusional Repository, Audit Sistem Informasi, COBIT 4.1.   Abstract [Analysis of Maturity Level in the Monitor and Evaluate (ME) Domain of the Institutional Repository (IR) System at University Libraries] Atma Luhur Library, which currently functions as a means of supporting and providing scientific literature for learning, research, and community service, has also become a repository for scientific writings such as theses and student final assignments. The repository service is provided in digital format to make it easier for students to access it openly. This web-based digital repository service system has been operating since 2018 and has never been audited. Information system audits are needed to monitor whether services are running in accordance with the vision and mission of libraries and universities. In this research, the focus of the information system audit uses the COBIT 4.1 framework. especially the Monitor and Evaluate (ME) domain. This ME domain shows the college assessment or Monitoring Process (ME1), then internal supervision to comply with campus regulations or Internal Control Adequacy (ME2). Next is supervision of related external regulations or Regulatory Compliance (ME3), and supervision of regulatory alignment, IT utilization and general business objectives or External Requirement Alignment (ME4). This audit involved three respondents, namely the Head of the Library and two library staff. The results of data processing show that the current system maturity level is at level 3, meaning that procedures have been running well, but there is the potential for undetected errors. Recommendations for future improvement are to strengthen internal supervision and improve the quality of the system. Abstract

Abstrak Metode untuk menganalisis manajemen layanan dari E-Learning salah satunya dengan menerapkan framework information technology infrastructure library (ITIL). ITIL V3 bertujuan meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna terhadap layanan TI. Penelitian mengenai ITIL V3 mencakup pembahasan dari lingkup keseluruhan domain. Dalam penelitian ini dibahas domain service desain untuk meningkatkan manajemen layanan SI/TI dengan objek penelitian yaitu E-Learning Universitas Semarang, hal itu diharapkan dapat mengelola manajemen layanan yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan sesuai yang dibutuhkan penggunanya. Penelitian ini dimulai dari identifikasi masalah, studi literatur, penyusunan kuesioner, pengumpulan data dan informasi. Melakukan analisis data pada Service Design sistem informasi/tekniologi informasi dengan mengadopsi kerangka kerja ITIL V3 service design, serta melakukan verifikasi terhadap data layanan. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat proses aktivitas dari domain service design meliputi Service Catalog Management, Service Level Management, Capacity Management, Availability Management, IT Service Continuity Management, dan Information Security Management, dan Supplier Management. Verifikasi hasil desain layanan dilakukan melalui kombinasi checklist service design ITIL V3 dan wawancara. Checklist digunakan guna mengonfirmasi bahwa seluruh proses sudah dijalankan sesuai kerangka dari Service Design dalam ITIL V3. Selanjutnya, dilakukan proses wawancara dengan tim pengelola E-Learning untuk memastikan hasil desain apakah telah memenuhi kebutuhan pengelola e-lerning Universitas Semarang berdasarkan analisis sebelumnya atau belum. Kata kunci: ITIL, service design, E-Learning   Abstract [Utilization of ITIL V3 Domain Service Design Method in Analyzing E-Learning Management at Semarang University] One method for analyzing service management from E-Learning is by implementing the information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) framework. ITIL V3 aims to improve user satisfaction with IT services. Research on ITIL V3 includes a discussion of the scope of the entire domain. This study discusses the service design domain to improve IS/IT service management with the object of research, namely E-Learning Universitas Semarang, it is expected to be able to manage service management more effectively, efficiently, and according to the needs of its users. This research starts from problem identification, literature study, questionnaire preparation, data and information collection. Conducting data analysis on the Service Design of information systems/information technology by adopting the ITIL V3 service design framework, and verifying service data. The results of this study include the activity process of the service design domain including Service Catalog Management, Service Level Management, Capacity Management, Availability Management, IT Service Continuity Management, and Information Security Management, and Supplier Management. Verification of service design results is carried out through a combination of the ITIL V3 service design checklist and interviews. The checklist is used to confirm that the entire process has been carried out according to the Service Design framework in ITIL V3. Next, an interview process was carried out with the E-Learning management team to ensure whether the design results had met the needs of the e-learning management of Semarang University based on the previous analysis or not. Abstract

Abstrak Dalam dunia penyiaran, pelanggaran siaran tidak asing lagi didengar telinga yang menampilkan hal-hal yang dilarang ditayang kepada publik. Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) sebagai lembaga negara yang mengawasi pelanggaran siaran, dimana terdapat laporan aduan siaran namun belum tertera melalui sistem berbentuk website. Melakukan pelaporan dengan melalui aplikasi whatsapp dan mendatangi langsung menjadi halangan bagi masyarakat membuat pengaduan. Demikian dianjurkan suatu inovasi berbentuk digital bagi instansi untuk layanan masyarakat membuat pengaduan dengan tidak perlu mendatangi instansi. Desain pengaduan website ini akan didampingi dan mengikuti tahapan metode prototyping dimana agar terbentuk suatu rancangan pengaduan pelanggaran siaran yang mumpuni bagi suatu instansi. Selain itu, rancangan yang akan dibuat ini tentunya dapat memberikan harapan bagi instansi untuk memiliki pengaduan yang berbasis web. Ini akan menguntungkan instansi karena bentuk pengaduan yang tersistem memungkinkan instansi maju dalam teknologi sehingga orang tidak perlu mengunjungi instansi secara langsung. Dalam penelitian mendatang, diharapkan suatu instansi dapat memiliki website pengaduan yang tertata dan teratur dalam sistem. Kata kunci: KPID, desain web, pengaduan pelanggaran siaran, metode prototyping   Abstract [Web Design Of Digital Innovation Complaints On Broadcasting Violations At The Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission Using The Prototyping Method] In the world of broadcasting, broadcast violations are no stranger to the ears that display things that are prohibited from being broadcast to the public. The Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) as a state institution that oversees broadcast violations, where there are reports of broadcast complaints but have not been listed through a website system. Reporting via the WhatsApp application and visiting in person is an obstacle for the public to make complaints. Thus, a digital innovation is recommended for agencies for public services to make complaints without having to visit the agency. The design of this website complaint will be accompanied and follow the stages of the prototyping method so that a draft of a qualified broadcast violation complaint is formed for an agency. In addition, the design that will be made can certainly provide hope for agencies to have web-based complaints. This will benefit agencies because the systematic form of complaints allows agencies to advance in technology so that people do not need to visit the agency directly. In future research, it is hoped that an agency can have a complaint website that is organized and organized in the system. Abstract

Abstrak Diabetes melitus merupakan gangguan metabolisme kronis yang menjadi perhatian kesehatan global yang terus meningkat, ditandai dengan tingkat prevalensi yang terus meningkat. Prediksi dini dan diagnosis yang akurat sangat penting untuk manajemen penyakit yang efektif dan pencegahan komplikasi. Studi ini menyajikan kerangka metodologis untuk mengoptimalkan algoritma XGBoost guna meningkatkan akurasi prediksi diabetes sekaligus meminimalkan kesalahan klasifikasi, dengan penekanan khusus pada pengurangan negatif palsu karena implikasi klinisnya yang signifikan. Metodologi pembelajaran mesin kami menggabungkan praproses data yang komprehensif, pengoptimalan hiperparameter sistematis melalui pencarian grid, dan evaluasi model yang ketat menggunakan analisis matriks kebingungan dan metrik ROC-AUC. Basis Data Diabetes Pima Indians dipartisi menggunakan pemisahan uji-latihan 70:30 untuk memastikan generalisasi model yang kuat. Model XGBoost yang dioptimalkan menunjukkan metrik kinerja yang luar biasa: akurasi (96,33%), presisi (93,4%), perolehan kembali (97,16%), skor F1 (95,7%), dan skor ROC-AUC (0,99). Analisis terperinci dari matriks kebingungan mengungkapkan 205 positif benar dan 373 negatif benar, dengan hanya 16 positif salah dan 6 negatif salah, yang menunjukkan kemampuan diagnostik unggul.Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa algoritme XGBoost kami yang dioptimalkan merupakan alat pendukung keputusan yang berharga bagi praktisi perawatan kesehatan dalam deteksi dini diabetes. Meskipun model tersebut menunjukkan kinerja keseluruhan yang luar biasa, pengurangan lebih lanjut dari hasil negatif palsu tetap menjadi target penting untuk meningkatkan keselamatan klinis. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap ilmu data medis dengan membangun kerangka kerja yang kuat dan dioptimalkan untuk prediksi diabetes menggunakan teknik pembelajaran mesin tingkat lanjut, dengan aplikasi potensial dalam sistem pendukung keputusan klinis dan strategi perawatan kesehatan preventif. Kata kunci: Diabetes mellitus,  XGBoost,  confusion matrix,  ROC-AUC,  optimasi hyperparameter.   Abstract Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder that is a growing global health concern, characterized by an increasing prevalence rate. Early prediction and accurate diagnosis are essential for effective disease management and prevention of complications. The study presents a methodological framework for optimizing the XGBoost algorithm to improve the accuracy of diabetes predictions while minimizing misclassification, with a special emphasis on the reduction of false negatives due to its significant clinical implications. Our machine learning methodology combines comprehensive data preprocessing, systematic hyperparameter optimization through grid search, and rigorous model evaluation using confusion matrix analysis and ROC-AUC metrics. The Pima Indians Diabetes Database is partitioned using an 70:30 test-exercise split to ensure robust model generalization. The optimized XGBoost model shows outstanding performance metrics: accuracy (96.33%), precision (93.4%), regain (97.16%), F1 score (95.7%), and ROC-AUC score (0.99). A detailed analysis of the confusion matrix revealed 205 true positives and 373 true negatives, with only 16 false positives and 6 false negatives, indicating superior diagnostic capabilities. These findings suggest that our optimized XGBoost algorithm is a valuable decision support tool for healthcare practitioners in the early detection of diabetes. Although the model shows excellent overall performance, further reduction of false-negative results remains an important target for improving clinical safety. The study makes a significant contribution to medical data science by building a robust and optimized framework for diabetes prediction using advanced machine learning techniques, with potential applications in clinical decision support systems and preventive health care strategies.
