Abstract

Economic development in a country, basically aims to achieve social prosperity through economic growth, and economic development among these there are linkages between national and regional development close to each other, thus forming a strong economy, strong, and evenly. Economic development is not just struggling to think and worry about how to achieve high economic growth. Development was to improve the quality of life and well-being of society. Economic growth alone is measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of consumption, investment, and inflation to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The research was conducted in Indonesia from 2000 to 2012 in the form of quarter as much data as the number 52. This research used Two Stage Least Square (TSLS) as an analytical technique. Based on the analysis, it was found that consumption and investment, are significantly positive toward GDP models, while inflation is positive but not significant toward GDP. Consumption is significantly positive towrd investment model, while the inflation variable is positive but not significant toward investment model. Inflation is positive but not significant toward consumption models.

Abstract

In general industry of leather bag handmade in Denpasar have several constraints as follows the similiar industries that have strong capital still dominate in the processof marketing and production process, intense competition, and the un-optimal usage of labor, and it ishave effect on production.This study aimed tofind out the effect of funds and labors both in simultaneous and partial towards the industrial productions of leather bag handmade in Denpasar, and to describe the economic of scale and production characteristic of leather bag handmade industry in Denpasar, with multiple linear regression analysis technique then transformed into Cobb-Douglass model. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the enlargement of catfish farming in Denpasar based on the data analysis of undiscounted criteria which are Payback Period and Break Even Point (BEP). This research was conducted in Denpasar City. The amount samples taken was 56 catfish farmers, using the formula Slovin. Data collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Based on the analysis it was found that the cultivation of rearing catfish in Denpasar is eligible to run. It is seen from the calculation based on the criteria of investment payback period in 8 months and the results of the break even point on the BEP unit is 216 kg and BEP price is Rp. 3.029.690.00.

Abstract

Increased economic growth had an impact on changing people's income, changes in the price structure, change the pattern of supply of goods and services, as well as changes in consumption patterns. Inflation or developments subsequent price used as a benchmark of stability of the regional economy in a given period. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) per capita and government spending on inflation. This research was conducted in Denpasar by using quantitative and qualitative data. Source data used is secondary data with doumentasi method. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the analysis found that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita is positive and significant effect on inflation. While government spending significant negative effect terhdap inflation. Relationships variable GRDP per capita and relatively high government spending on inflation. The GDP per capita and government spending tends to vary a change of variable inflation was only 66.8 per cent and the remaining 33.2 percent is determined by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of research, to determine the influence of labor, technology and production simultaneously and partially to the income of clove farmers in the Village Munduk Banjar District Buleleng. The population of this study were 70 clove farmers by stratified random sampling. The analytical technique used to is multiple linier regression analysis. The result of analysis shows that labor, technology, production quantity have positive and significant influence simultaneously to clove farmer's income in Munduk Village, Banjar Sub-district, Buleleng Regency. Labor has a positive and partially significant effect on the income of clove farmers in Munduk Village, Banjar District, Buleleng District. Technology negatively affected partially to the income of clove farmers in the Village Munduk Banjar District Buleleng District. The number of production has a positive and significant effect partially on the income of clove farmers in Munduk Village, Banjar District, Buleleng District.

Abstract

Industrial development, especially in the tourism industry in general in Bali and Kuta district in particular in the present is already highly developed. Each year millions could both local and international travelers coming to visit. On the other hand, fishermen or farmers still persist even engaged in it is not too much. The purpose of this study is to determine the presence or absence of income inequality among tourism workers and fishermen or farmers. The research was conducted in the Kuta district, Badung regency using a sample of 98 people. The analysis technique used is the Gini index based on the geometric definition. The results obtained showed the income inequality between workers and peasants of 0.331 tourism, among farmers at 0.111, and 0.184 for tourism among workers. From these results it means that income inequality that occurred in the district of Kuta including low inequality.

Abstract

Indonesia is the world's largest producer of rattan. This study aims to investigate the influence of the United States dollar exchange rate, gross domestic product of forest products and production quantities of the Indonesian rattan handicraft export volume and competitiveness of other countries. In addition, this research aims to determine the competitiveness of Indonesian Rattan and China using RCA index (Revealed Comparative Advantage). This study uses secondary data from the years 1993-2012 using Eviews 3 analysis program. The results of data analysis showed simultaneous US Dollar exchange rate, Gross Domestic Product and Total Production Forest Products significantly to the volume of exports of Indonesian Rattan craft in period 1993-2012. In partial test US Dollar exchange rate, and the amount of production has a significant positive effect on the volume of exports of Indonesian Rattan in period 1993-2012. Gross Domestic Product variable results negatively affect export volumes Rattan Indonesia period 1993-2012. Individually, the competitiveness of the export volume of rattan Indonesia and China has a fairly high competitiveness for RCA index ? 1, but the competitiveness of Indonesia is still weak when compared with China. Indonesia still needs to improve its competitiveness in order to increase the contribution to national revenue.

Abstract

Minimum wage and investment has an important role in creating the labor demand. Increasing minimum wage by government and investment will determine the labor demand and unemployment of one region. In order to handle unemployment problem, government need to balance the supply of labor and the availability of job. This research objective is to analyze the impact of increasing in minimum wage and investment toward labor demand in Bali Province in 1993-2012 periods. Analysis method that used in this study is multiple regression method. The result shows, in every 1 percent increase in minimum wage will lowered the labor demand by 18,19 percent. Meanwhile, for every 1 percent increase in investment will increase the labor demand by 1,15 percent. To handle the unemployment, which creates by 1 percenr increase of minimum wage, the government has to increase the investment at least 1,15 percent. Furthermore, in order to handle the unemployment in 2013, Bali economy has to invest at least Rp. 195 billion.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the social problems that occur in various areas, including Bali. One of the causes of poverty is the accessibility issue which is an access / a person's ability to get a good basic needs of food, clothing, education, health and decent living. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of economic growth and human development index of the number of poor people in the province of Bali.Penelitian using secondary data from the years 2004 - 2013 and using data collection methods non-participant observation. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the analysis found that economic growth, life expectancy, average - the duration of schooling, literacy rates and per capita spending a significant negative effect on the number of poor people in the province of Bali. To reduce poverty, the government is expected to formulate development policies appropriate to their respective districts / municipalities in Bali Province. The policy may be increasing the opening of employment, entrepreneurship development, improvement of the system of employment, improvement of public facilities (health and education) that are expected to improve the welfare of the underprivileged.

Abstract

This research is aiming to analyze the availability effect of material, capital, labor and  production value against income,and also to analyze the use of production value in mediation the effect of availability of materials, capital , labor against the income of leather craftmanship in Denpasar.Data gathering methods are observation,interview,and deep interview.The analyzing data technique that we used is path analysis and sobel testing to analyze indirect effect through mediation variable.The result of the research show materials that always available hasn't effecting the production value. Capital and labor give positive and significant effect against the production value. Availability of materials, capital and production value give positive and significant effect against the income,but the labor didn't give positive effect against the income.Production value is the mediation variable of the effect of the materials availablity,capital,and the labor of leather craftmanship in Denpasar.
