Abstract

Tourismplays an important rolein increasingemployment, encourage theequitable distribution ofnational development, as well asplay a rolein alleviatingpoverty, which in turn willimprove thewelfare of the peoplein the province ofBali. This studyaims to determinehow theinfluence ofthe number of touristsandforeign touristsspendingto GDPbyusing path analysis. TestingResults of path analysis showed that the number of tourist arrivals affect the expenditure of foreign tourists , the number of tourists and foreign tourists spending simultaneous effect on GDP , is not directly affect the number of tourists visiting GDP by expenditure by tourists .

Abstract

Agriculture horticulture, especially the onion is one of the strategic sectors are being developed by the government. As one of the countries with the largest number of people who occupied the fifth position in the world that have an impact on national food needs are high, but Indonesia has not been able to meet domestic food needs special onion. This study aims to determine the effect of production, price, consumption, against imports of onions simultaneously and partially. In addition, this study aims to determine the dominant variable affecting the import of garlic in Indonesia. The data used in this study is a secondary data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed the simultaneous production levels, prices and consumption affect the import of onion in Indonesia. Partially significant negative effect on the level of production, on the other hand consumption and prices were found to have a significantly positive nd on onion imports in Indonesia. In this analysis shows that the variable dominant influence on the import of garlic consumption in Indonesia is variable.

Abstract

The  purpose  of   this  study  was  to  analyze  1)  Effect  of  tourist  arrivals,  hotel  occupancy  rates  and  tourist  expenditure on  employment,  2) Effect of tourist arrivals, hotel occupancy rates, tourist expenditure and employment to economic growth, 3) The indirect effect tourist arrivals, hotel occupancy rates and tourist expenditure on employment through  economic  growth. This research was conducted in the province of Bali. The objects on the study include tourist arrivals, hotel occupancy rates, tourist expenditure, employment and economic growth. Data collection methods used in this study include non-participant observation and in-depth interviews.  Data  analysis  technique  used  is  the analysis track / path  analysis  and Sobel test to analyze the indirect influence through an intervening variable. Based on the results obtained and the conclusions that the visit Travellers tourist expenditure has no direct effect on employment in the province of Bali, while the occupancy rate of the hotel direct and significant impact on employment.

Abstract

Poorness become constraint in economics of society, because enough bother economics aktifitas. This poorness trigger some of society to do mobilization of countryside to town and town to countryside to get work. With existence of mobilization is amount of resident in town will increase and poorness in town will mount, while work field in countryside will be unifinished, because left by most its resident which go abroad to town to look for work. If this situation continue to take place, hence situation of  urban will become very solid, what later will induce at increasing unemployment storey level it town. This research aim to to know influence of[is amount of labour amount and resident and also unemployment to amount of poorness in Sub-Province of Buleleng simultaneously and parsial. Method analyse data used to solve problem in this research is multiple linear regression analysis by using program aid of SPSS Windows for. Result of research indicate that the amount of absorbtion of labour have an effect on negativity to amount of impecunious resident, while amount of unemployment have an effect on positive to impecunious resident [in] Sub-Province of Buleleng, but the amount of resident do not have an effect on signifikan to amount of impecunious resident. Matter this means amount of absorbtion of labour tend to to lessen the amount of impecunious resident, while amount of unemployment tend to to improve the amount of impecunious resident in Sub-Province of Buleleng.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country where the industrial sector has not been able to meet all domestic demand, especially in commodity food and drinks. Classical theory by David Ricardo stated that a country would benefit from international trade if the product specialization and exporting goods in which the country can produce relatively more productive as well, where the country's imported goods relatively less productive or unproductive, with this consideration, Indonesia entry in international trade. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the US dollar exchange rate, foreign exchange reserves and gross domestic products imultaneously and partially to the value of imports of food and drinks in Indonesia in 1993-2012, and analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the data analysis F test showed that the US dollar exchange rate, foreign exchange reserves and gross domestic product an effect simultaneously to the value of imports of food and drinks in Indonesia in 1993-2012. The result of partial test (t) which indicates, the US dollar exchange rate variable negative and significant, variable Foreign Exchange Reserves positive and significant and gross domestic product has no effect on imports of food and drinks in Indonesia in 1993-2012.

Abstract

Regional income is a regional financial resources extracted from the relevant local area . Badung, Gianyar ,Tabanan and Denpasar is the county / city revenue contributor in the province of Bali and has a variety of attractions . This study aims to investigate the influence of tourist arrivals , number of hotel room occupancy rate , and number of hotel rooms to regional income in Badung , Gianyar , Tabanan and Denpasar years 2001-2010 . Types of data is a secondary data with the technique of multiple linear regression analysis (multiple regression). Results of the analysis indicated the influence of tourist arrivals and number of hotel rooms is positive and significant effect, while the number of hotel room occupancy rate is no significant effect to regional income in Badung ,Gianyar , Tabanan and Denpasar years 2001-2010.

Abstract

The informal sector is a type of employment that is less organized, not have protection by legal entities which have a small scale is more aimed at finding employment and income rather than profit. The informal sector also includes various business activities that do not have protection by law. One of the informal sector that is growing is the bread or bakery industry. This study aimed to determine the effect of capital, the number of customers with the old business as moderating variable to earnings bread producers in Denpasar. The research methods used were interviews, questionnaires and observations. This study used a technique purposive sampling with 64 samples of bread manufacturers in the city of Denpasar. The study states simultaneously and partial capital, the number of customers and old businesses have significant effect on earnings. While long effort is a moderating variable that amplified the effect of the capital and the number of subscribers to revenue bread producers in Denpasar.

Abstract

Tourism is one of sectors which contribute dominant on economic growth. District bangli having tourist village that was popular which is a penglipuran village. Visitors to the penglipuran in 2015 down so the visits to the penglipuran have an impact on employment opportunities and public welfare. The research was conducted in penglipuran villages using data primary with of respondents about 69 families. The purpose of this research to analyze the tourist rural development, tourist visits in welfare through employment opportunities in the village penglipuran using path analysis. The result showed that the rural development tourism and tourist visits influential positive and significantly to employment opportunities. Tourist rural development, tourist visits and employment opportunities influential positive and significant in public welfare and employment opportunities as variable mediation relations tourism rural development and tourist visits significant in public welfare. Abstract

Large populations can arise a problem, one of them is employment. Labor growth which faster than the growth of employment opportunities will increase the number of unemployment in the society. The development of tourism sector in Bali not made ??free of unemployment. This study discusses about effects of inflation, investment, and wages to the unemployment rate in the Bali province in 1998-2011 both simultaneously and partially. This study used multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study shows inflation, investment, and wages simultanously have significant effect on the rate of unemployment in Bali in 1998-2011. While partially, inflation and investment do not affect on the unemployment rate in Bali in 1998-2011. And wages partially have significant effect on the unemployment rate in Bali in 1998-2011.

Abstract

Oil as one of  raw material in production process of goods and service is vital factor in support production activity in Indonesia. Indonesia previous is a state as producer of oil and one of member of organization of petroleum exporting country (OPEC) but its reality still not yet able to fulfil the domestic’s need.This study aims to find out the effect of per capita income, price, US dollar rate and reserve of devisa simultaneously and partially toward oil import in Indonesia. Object in this study were per capita income, price, US dollar rate, reserve of devisa and oil import. Type of data has been applied in this study was secondary data. Data analysis technique was applied multiple linear regression.  The result showed simultaneously the variable of per capita income, price, US dollar rate, and reserve of devisa have significant effect toward import of oil in Indonesia. Partially percapita income and reserve of devisa have positive and significant toward import of oil Indonesia. Partially price and US dollar rate have negative significant toward import of oil in Indonesia. The government should decrease import of oil so that price will reduce and rupiah rate will  increase hence reserve of devise will improve. By existence reduction of import hence oil subsidy will decrease so that subsidy can be switch for purpose to improve education and health.
