Abstract

Australia is one of the countries with the highest solar PV capacity in the world. The capacity of solar PV installed in Australia has reached 16,319 MW and 600 W per capita at the end of 2019, making Australia the country with the highest per-capita capacity in the world. The Australian Government has established policies, regulations, and budgets as commitments to support the achievement of the solar PV capacity. This paper reviews and analyzes policies, regulations, and funds in Australia from federal to state levels on the side of solar PV development. Analysis showed that policies and regulations supported by the suitability of the government budget have a consequential effect on increasing the capacity of solar PV to implement and realize renewable energy targets in Australia. Several policies aforementioned as Feed-in Tariff, RET, NSSP, and budgets that focus on R&D have a significant impact on increasing the capacity of solar PV installed. Thus, realistic targets that are phased in, structured policy and regulatory support, budget compliance, and continuous education to the public are essential aspects that could be adopted in Indonesia to accelerate the realization of the national solar PV capacity target.

Abstract

The Wheeled Follow Me Suitcase is an automatic robot that can follow human journeys to carry goods to meet their needs. This suitcase has 2 modes; manual and automatic modes. The manual mode of the suitcase will be used like a suitcase in general. While the automatic mode, the suitcase will always follow the owner who already has a special mark (markers). The main components of this system are raspberry pi camera, raspberry pi 4, push button, buzzer, motor driver and dc motor. By doing image processing on special marks (markers) so as to produce a variable distance. The results of processing the reading of the distance variable will be processed into a speed variable, so that the error data range will be obtained. The use of markers of the ArUcoMarker type, limits the distance for reading special marks to a maximum distance of 2 meters which is as stable as possible at a distance of 1 meter. To anticipate failure in reading, a buzzer is used as a sign that the follow me suitcase has been far from the user. In the test results using markers of the ArUco Markers type, a minimum distance of 74 mm is produced, a maximum of 2170 mm. With the smallest reading error rate at a distance of 400 mm and 1100 mm while the largest reading error at a distance of 2000 mm and for the average distance reading error of 0.55%.

Abstract

Abstract— In the development of technology, the application of automated systems began to bloom applied in various fields. The automatic system is able to provide convenience in its application, both in terms of time and energy efficiency. In general, an automatic system can be interpreted as a system that is capable of carrying out a job without human intervention. researchers designed a device that is able to work automatically to water the plants based on the soil conditions of the plants. an automated system designed by researchers using the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller as the main control and soil moisture sensor to detect soil moisture levels. The process of watering plants occurs based on the level of humidity that has been detected by a soil moisture sensor. Result of the tests on this research, the watering process is carried out when the soil moisture level is less than 20%. Meanwhile, when the soil moisture level is more than 20%, the watering process will stop.

Abstract

DVC has the characteristics of lighter encoder performance by transferring the efficiency of the field of motion to the decoder. The characteristics of DVC are similar to FRUC which is a technique to improve the quality of video display from the decoder side by inserting interpolated frames. In this study, multi-resolution bilateral motion estimation based on pyramid wavelets is proposed by comparing the order of wavelets contained in the daubechies wavelet. The parameters compared in this study are PSNR and the computational complexity of the proposed method to improve the quality of the video reconstruction from the decoder side. This study shows that the use of the daubechies wavelet order in the proposed method can obtain sufficient category of PSNR values of db6 with a value of 27.37 dB for video images with moving background characteristics and moving objects, good categories of db7 and db10 with a value of 34.8 dB and 32.06 dB for video images with fixed background characteristics and moving objects, and video images with moving background characteristics and fixed objects. The selection of the wavelet order on the daubechies wavelet can be adjusted to the characteristics of the video image that will be used.

Abstract

Abstract— The exact estimation of the number of colonies or Colony Forming Units (CFUs) is frequently used in microbiology research, particularly in the field of bacteria. The number of colonies that develop per gram or milliliter of sample is estimated by multiplying the number of plates, the dilution factor, and the volume used [1]. Counting the number of bacterial colonies can be used to determine a bacterium's growth rate. The cup count method is commonly used to accomplish this manually. An instrument called a colony counter can help with colony counting utilizing the cup count method. This technology works by using a pen connected to a counter to mark the colonies that have been counted. However, because the colony size is tiny and the number of colonies counted is huge, this can lead to inaccuracies, and the same difficulties can happen with manual colony computations. Digital image processing technology has been extensively developed for use in a variety of fields. Researchers had previously undertaken a similar study that attempted to count bacterial colonies and had a 94 percent accuracy rate, but some colonies were not spotted because they were filtered during preprocessing, so they looked into it further. Abstract

The Medium Voltage Network is an electrical power system between main substations and distribution substations with the scope from the out-going terminal of the power breaker to the in-coming separation / protection equipment for 20kV distribution transformer. The Medium Voltage Network distributes electricity and deals with customers must pay attention for the level of reliability which is able to supply electric power to consumers on a continuous basis. The reliability level of the distribution system can be determined by calculating SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index), which is the reliability index of the number of blackout frequencies. Based on the results of the calculation and analysis of the system-based reliability index that the obtained results of 10.89 times/customer/year with total energy not served was 57772 kWh which were considered unreliable distribution system according to the SPLN 68-2: 1986 index standard. Furthermore, it is necessary to analyze, evaluate the causes of trips and budget policies as an effort to reduce the value of SAIFI. Preventive activities include: routine inspections, installation of wire insulation, as well as utilizing IoT technology, databases and GPS for system digitization for distribution system reliability. Abstract

Eligibility for Study Programs and Higher Education is determined based on the accreditation process. The accreditation criteria refer to the National Higher Education Standards. Nine standards that must be complete with documents in the accreditation process. The process of preparing form instruments is still done manually causing problems in the process of completing form instruments, because they have to recap a lot of data and require more time to retrieve and process the required data. To simplify the preparation of the form instrument, a data warehouse scheme and service-middleware built to collect the data needed in the preparation of the form instrument. The data warehouse schema design will use Kimball's Nine-Steps approach. Meanwhile, application development will use the Agile approach. The results of this research are in the form of data warehouse schema modeling in the Agile development process for the needs of study program accreditation forms.

Abstract

Abstract—VTOL-plane is a hybrid vehicle that combines a fixed-wing vehicle and a rotary-wing vehicle with the advantages of good endurance and good maneuverability. Combining these two types of UAVs requires a control system capable of stabilizing the shift from fixed-wing to rotary-wing mode or vice versa. Attitude disorientation occurs in the form of a decrease in height due to overshoot. therefore, a mode or control many input parameters. The Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control method is one of the control methods capable of producing minimum errors and capable of many input parameters. The LQR control system produces a control response with a rise time according to the needs. The LQR control meets the specifications of the VTOL-plane vehicle requirements to handle minimum errors. Attitude disorientation occurs due to overshoot, as well as handling of the control system which can only handle a small amount of input and output on the VTOL-plane vehicle. Abstract

DC-DC converter are required in industrial application to convert a fixed DC voltage into a variable DC voltage. This article focuses on the cuk converter topology which can operate in buck-boost mode which is regulated through the duty cycle pulse width modulation setting and controlled by the dsPIC33EP512MU810 microcontroller by applying the Proportional-Integral (PI) digital closed loop current control method. Using PI control method is considered capable of producing optimal performance and increasing the response time that occurs. The frequency given by the generator signal is used as a reference signal to inject current into the inductor (L1). The current sensor module acts as a measuring device and a reader of the actual current value that appears through the load. The difference between the reference current value and the actual value will produce an error signal value so that it becomes the comparison value of the current sensor results with the PI control method. Simulation results on PSIM, modeling analysis, device implementation and hardware testing graphs in the laboratory have been carried out to prove the design parameters and proposed methods can work as intended.

Abstract

Intisari— Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih membuat perangkat mobile menjadi alternatif utama dalam mengelola urusan kehidupan. Perangkat mobile yang menawarkan adanya layanan dan komputasi adalah smartphone. Kecanggihan teknologi smartphone dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memproses absensi. Sistem absensi merupakan sistem yang dapat mencatat kehadiran setiap pengguna, sistem absensi dapat diproses menggunakan beberapa jenis absensi diantaranya absensi secara konvensional menggunakan tanda tangan dan absensi digital menggunakan Face Recognition dan QR code. Dalam memproses sistem absensi fitur geolocation dapat digunakan untuk mencari lokasi. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menentukan metode absensi digital yang terbaik antara Face Recognition dan QR code menggunakan geolocation. Berdasarkan penjelasan dari penelitian sebelumnya dan melakukan perbandingan antara metode Face Recognition dan QR code dalam memproses sistem absensi didapatkan hasil metode QR code merupakan metode terbaik untuk absensi digital karena memiliki akurasi yang tinggi dan penerapannya lebih mudah. Kata Kunci— Sistem Absensi, Perangkat Seluler, Geolocation, Pengenalan Wajah, Kode QR.
