Abstract

Penerapan Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E Dipadu dengan Media Puzzle Education Pada Materi Sistem Gerak Manusia diharapkan mampu untuk mengatasi permasalahan hasil belajar peserta didik yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode Learning Cycle 5E dipadu dengan media Puzzle Education pada materi Sistem Gerak Manusia di SMA N 1 Godong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre experimental dengan desain one shot case study. Populasi diambil dari peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Godong Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA 4 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa hasil belajar peserta didik ranah kognitif dianalisis dengan metode tes, ranah afektif dan psikomotor dengan observasi dan tanggapan peserta didik dan guru menggunakan angket. Data-data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 75% siswa mencapai KKM pada hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Peserta didik yang mencapai KKM pada ranah kognitif sebesar 84,90% afektif 85,24% dan psikomotor 100%. Pada tanggapan peserta didik dan guru memperoleh tanggapan yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dipadu dengan media Puzzle Education pada materi Sistem Gerak Manusia efektif diterapkan di SMA N 1 Godong Application of 5E Learning Cycle Combined with Puzzle Education In Human skeletal Systems will be able to solve the low learning result of student problem. The purpose of this research was to analyse effectiveness of the application of  5E Learning Cycle combined with Puzzle Education on Human skeletal System at SMA N 1 Godong. The method  used  in  this  research  is  a  pre-experimental  design with  one  shot  case study. The population of  this  research used all  the grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Godong academic  year 2014/2015. Samples were grade XI MIPA 2 and XI MIPA 4 students collected by purposive sampling technique. The research data is cognitive learning outcomes was analyzed by test method, affective and psychomotor with observation, students and teachers response using a questionnaire. These data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that more than 75% of students achieve the KKM learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Students that achieve KKM on cognitive learning outcome amounted 84.90%, affective amounted 85.24%  and psychomotor amounted 100%. The students and teachers response got a good response. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the 5E Learning Cycle combined with Puzzle Education on Human skeletal System effectively implemented in SMA N 1 Godong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning  dengan gaya belajar VAK (Visual, Auditori, Kinestetik) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif, afektif,  dan psikomotor serta aktivitas siswa pada materi invertebrata di SMA Negeri Ajibarang. Penelitian Quasi Eksperimental menggunakanPosttest-Only Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Variabel bebas berupa model pembelajaran discovery learning  dengan gaya belajar VAK. Variabel terikat berupa hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa, yaitu hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor serta aktivitas siswa.  Hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan uji-t, sedangkan aktivitas siswa dengan deskriptif persentase. Rerata hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa kelas eksperimen > kontrol, yaitu (3.16>2.57), (3.30>2.99), dan (2.82>2.20). Thitung rerata hasil belajar kognitif 6.44, afektif 6.50, dan psikomotor 6.41, sedangkan ttabel 1.99. Artinya, hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dibandingkan kontrol. Jumlah siswa kelas eksperimen yang sangat aktif dan aktif 91.18%, sedangkan kontrol hanya 35.29%. Simpulan penelitian yaitu model discovery learning dengan gaya belajar VAK berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif, afekif, dan psikomotor siswa pada materi Invertebrata di SMA Negeri Ajibarang. Model pembelajaran tersebut juga lebih mengaktifkan siswa. This study aimed to determine the influence of discovery learning model with VAK learning styles (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) towards cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievement as well as students’ activities on invertebrate material at SMA Negeri Ajibarang. The Quasi-Experimental Research used Posttest-Only Design. The sample taking used purposive sampling. The independent variable was discovery learning model with VAK learning styles. The dependent variable was the learning achievement and students’ activity, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor with students’ activities. The students’ learning achievements were analyzed with t-test, meanwhile the students’ activities were analyzed with descriptive percentages. The mean of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor achievement of the experiment students class > control, it was (3.16>2.57), (3.30>2.99), and (2.82>2.20). The mean of Tcalculate cognitive achievement was 6,44, affective 6,50, and psychomotor 6,4, while the Ttable was 1,99. It means that, the cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievement of the experiment class was significantly different than control. The number of students in the experiment class who were very active and active was 91, 18%, while the control was only 35,29%. The conclusion of this study was that discovery learning model with VAK learning style had significance influence towards the cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievement at the students in invertebrate material at SMA Negeri Ajibarang. That learning model also made the students be more active.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran dan mengkaji keefektifan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini dengan desain penelitian research and development dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah dan potensi, perencanaan, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi produk I, uji coba skal kecil, revisi produk II, uji coba produk skala besar, revisi produk II, sehingga dihasilkan produk final. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X6 SMA N 1 Gondang. Data penelitian berupa kelayakan dan keefektifan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di SMA N 1 Gondang. Data dianalisis dengan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri oleh  para ahli media, ahli materi dan bahasa  rata-rata 88% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan 100% tuntas dan diuji dengan N-gain dengan persentase 40% kategori sedang serta mempunyai tingkat kepedulian terhadap lingkungan 86% kategori sangat peduli lingkungan. Berdasarkan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa CD pembelajaran interaktif berbasis inkuiri layak dikembangkan dan efektif diterapkan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di SMA N 1 Gondang. This study aims to determine the feasibility of interactive learning CD based inquiry learning and reviewing the effectiveness of the CD based interactive learning material inquiry environmental pollution This research used the Research and Development design that consist of problem identification, planning, product design, design validation, product revision I, preliminary field testing, product revision II, main field testing, product revision II, and produce the final product. The subject of this research is student of grade X6 State Senior High School 1 Gondang. The data include the properness and effectiveness inquirybased interactive learning CD applied to environmental pollution concept in State Senior High School 1 Gondang. The data was analyzed by descriptive percentage. The result showed that the inquiry based interactive learning CD by the expert of media, concept, and language is about 88%, has the “very proper” criteria. The result of the student achievement showed that 100% student are “competent” and the N-gain showed 40% included to “medium” category, while the environment care data showed that 86% students care about the environment so it included to the ”very care” criteria. Based on the result of the research, can be concluded that the inquirybased interactive learning CD is properly developed and effective to be applied in environmental pollution concept in State Senior High School N 1 Gondang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Model Project Based Learning dengan Brainstorming terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran sistem saraf. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperiment yang menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Rembang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan didapatkan sampel kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes, observasi, dan angket. Hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata posttest menunjukkan thitung 6,36 ≥ 1,671 terdapat perbedaan rata-rata. Hasil analisis keterampilan berpikir siswa pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa 86,11% siswa memperoleh nilai ≥85 dengan kategori tinggi, sementara kelas kontrol sebesar 25% yang memperoleh kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dikatakan bahwa Project Based Learning dengan Brainstorming dapat mencapai indikator keefektivan karena hasil uji t perbedaan dua rata-rata posttest menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dan ≥75% siswa mencapai nilai ≥85. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Project Based Learning dengan Brainstorming efektif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran sistem saraf. This research aims to understand the effectiveness of model Project Based Learning with brainstorming to critical thinking skill on learning nervous system. This research was quasi eksperiment which uses research nonequivalent control group design.The population in this study was XI IPA in SMA N 2 Rembang.Sample was taken by purposive sampling technique, and obtained a sample in class XI IPA 2 as an experiment class, and class XI IPA 4 as a control class.Data collection was done with the test, observation, and questionnaire.The result of the difference of two posttest shows that tcalculated 6,36 ≥ 1,671 there was a difference. Analysis of students critical thinking on experiment class shows 86,11 % of students obtained ≥85 with high category, while control class of 25 % obtained high category.Based on the results of study we can said that Project Based Learning with brainstorming met indicator of effectiveness because result of the difference of two posttest shows there was a difference of critical thinking between experiment and control class, and ≥75% of student obtained ≥85. So we can conclude that Project Based learning with Brainstorming is effective to enhance critical thinking skill on nerveous system learning.

Abstract

Anatomi Tumbuhan merupakan kelompok mata kuliah keilmuan dan keterampilan (MKK , dimana pada mata kuliah ini membahas tentang sel, jaringan dan organ penyusun tumbuhan tingkat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan pada materi anatomi tumbuhan, hampir semua materi sulit dipahami mahasiswa karena  mata kuliah ini meliputi struktur dalam yang tidak bisa diamati secara langsung dan juga tidak bisa divisualisasikan secara utuh karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran. Hal ini mengkibatkan sebagian besar mahasiswa menganggap materi tersebut abstrak dan sulit untuk mengkonstruk pengetahuannya walaupun sudah menggunakan OHP atau slide proyektor. Masing-masing media pembelajaran memiliki keunggulan dan kelemahan yang memerlukan kombinasi berbagai media agar kelemahannya dapat diminimalkan. Mengacu pada Standar Kompetensi Pendidik baik akademik maupun pedagogik maka media pembelajaran dicoba untuk dikembangkan yang mana diharapkan dapat membantu membina calon pendidik biologi professional khususnya di bidang anatomi tumbuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran compact disc interaktif berorentasi konstruktivisme pada mata kuliah anatomi tumbuhan yang valid. Hasil Validasi menunjukkan bahwa CD interaktif berorientasi konstruktivisme sangat valid, dengan Rerata validasi 3,63. Anatomy Plant is a group of knowledge subject and skill (MKK, which on this lecture discusses the cells, tissues and organs arranging higher plants. Based on the results of interviews conducted on the material of plant anatomy, most of the materials are difficult to understand by students because this material includes anatomy structure in which can’t be directly observed, and also can’t be visualized as a whole because of the limitation of learning media. This causes most of students consider that such material is abstract and difficult to  construct the knowledge although using overhead or slide projector. Each of learning media has advantages and disadvantages that require a combination of different media to make weaknesses minimal. Referring to the Competency Standards of Educator both academic and pedagogic so that learning media is tried to develop which hopely can help to foster candidate of proffessional biology educator especially in plant anatomy field. The purpose of this study is to produce a learning media of interactive compact disc (CD)-constructivism oriented on plant anatomy that is valid. Validation results show that interactive CD- constructivism oriented is very valid, with a mean of validation 3,63.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan usaha kreatif dalam pembelajaran sains IPA Biologi. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan persentase penguasaan konsep perubahan iklim siswa menggunakan video visual lingkungan pesisir Indramayu dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasiexperiment dengan pola nonequivalent control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pre-tes dan pos-tes instrumen penguasaan konsep. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Lelea Indramayu. Adapun pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu kelas VII-A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VII-Bsebagai kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan video visual lingkungan pesisir Indramayu dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada konsep perubahan iklim, dan pembelajaran konvensional pada konsep perubahan iklim pada kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan pengolahan data manual dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft-Excel 2010. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran konsep menggunakan video visual lingkungan pesisir Indramayu dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learningterhadap penguasaan konsep perubahan iklim siswa memiliki persentasi yang lebih tinggi yaitu skor penguasaan konsep pada post tes sebesar 61, 6%, sedangkan N-gain penguasaan konsep perubahan iklim sebesar 42,3%. Perbedaan persentasi penguasaan konsep perubahan iklim siswa kelas eksperimen yang lebih baik dikarenakan oleh pemilihan penggunaan media disertakan pendekatan yang sesuai diterapkan dengan materi pelajaran. This study is a creative effort in learning science Science Biology. Our objective was to determine differences in the percentage of students' mastery of the concept of climate change using a visual video Indramayu coastal environment with contextual teaching and learning approach. The method used is a quasi experiment with pattern nonequivalent control group. Data were obtained from the pre-test and post-test instrument mastery of concepts. The study population was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Lelea Indramayu. The sampling is done by cluster random sampling technique that is class VII-A as the experimental group and class VII-B as a control group. This research on experimental class using visual video Indramayu coastal environment with contextual teaching and learning approach to the concept of climate change, and conventional learning on the concept of climate change in the control class. Hypothesis testing is done by manual data processing is done using Microsoft-Excel 2010. The results showed that the learning concepts using visual video Indramayu coastal environment with contextual teaching and learning approach for students' mastery of the concept of climate change has a higher percentage that is balanced mastery of concepts in post test by 61, 6%, while the N-gain mastery of the concept of climate change of 42.3%. Differences in percentage of mastery of the concept of climate change experimental class students are better due to the use of selection included media appropriate approach is applied to the subject matter.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pembelajaran Biologi Molekular berbasis Kompetensi dan Konservasi menggunakan strategi Paired Story telling with picture untuk mendiskripsikan bentuk pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkembangkan nilai-nilai konservasi dalam diri mahasiswa serta mengetahui efektivitasnya. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Biologi berjumlah 42 orang angkatan 2013 yang telah menggunakan kurikulum Unnes 2012. Pembelajaran Biologi molekular berbasis kompetensi dan konservasi didiskripsikan sebagai pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan materi dengan nilai karakter konservasi menggunakan strategi paired storytelling with pictures dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan analisis Standar Kompetensi (SK) dan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) dan pemetaan materi ajar yang memiliki korelasi dengan tema karakter atau nilai-nilai moral dalam konservasi, yang selanjutnya dirumuskan indikator pencapaian SK, KD dengan menyertakan kualitas nilai-nilai konservasi. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan efektif dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam diri mahasiswa dengan indikator: (1) hasil penilaian diri (self assessment) 94,07% mahasiswa setuju dan sangat setuju dengan pernyataan tentang nilai karakter yang ada, (2) kemampuan komunikasi lisan mahasiswa dalam storytelling with picture70% mahasiswa memiliki performance sangat baik dan baik, dan (3) tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran 97% mahasiswa berpendapat bahwa strategi pairedstory telling with pictures melatih kemampuan mahasiswa mengamati dan menganalisis gambar dan menceritakan kembali kepada teman secara tertulis maupun lisan. Molecular Biology and conservation competency-based described as learning that integrates the material with the character of the conservation value using paired strategy storytelling with pictures by analyzing the standard of competence and basic competence. Subjects in this study were 42 students of Biology Education year 2013 who have used the 2012 Unnes curriculum learning. Further, mapping of teaching materials that have a correlation with the theme of character or moral values in conservation was performed. Then, it indicators was formulated for achievement of standard of competence and basic competence to include the quality of conservation values. The results showed that lessons were effective in growing the value of conservation characters within the student by the indicator: (1) the results of self-assessment (self-assessment) was 94.07% of the students agreed and strongly agreed with the statement on the value of the existing character, (2) oral communication skills of students in storytelling by picture media was 70% of students have a performance very well and good, and (3) the response of students to the implementation of the study was 97% of the students found the strategy paired storytelling by picture media could train the students' ability to observe and analyze the image and retell to friends written or orally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh implementasi model Project Based Learning pada materi pencemaran air terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA, mengetahui tanggapan siswa tentang penggunaan model pembelajaran tersebut, serta mengidentifikasi kesulitan-kesulitan yang muncul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah True Experiment dengan desain static group pre-test post-test design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest kemampuan berpikir kreatif, angket siswa, dan hasil observasi pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Kelas treatmen 1 menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dan diskusi pada kelas treatmen II. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji beda dua rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, sig 0,000, α= 0,05. Peningkatan tersebut berada pada kategori sedang. This study aimed to examine the effect of the implementation of project-based learning models in the material water pollution of the high school students 'creative thinking abilities, know the students' responses about the use of the learning model, as well as identifying the difficulties that arise. The method used is True Experiment with static design group pre-test post-test design. Data were obtained from the pre-test and post-test creative thinking abilities, student questionnaire, and the observation of learning. Research subjects are students of class X MIA SMAN 2 Indramayu. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. 1 class treatments using Project Based Learning model of learning and discussion in class II treatments. Hypothesis testing is done by using two different test average. The results showed that learning by using Project Based Learning model of a significant effect on the increase in the ability to think creatively, sig 0.000, α = 0.05.
