Abstract

Berdasarkan analisis potensi diketahui bahwa siswa SMA mempunyai minat yang besar terhadap gadget. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Androplantae melalui sebuah produk berbasis Android pada materi dunia tumbuhan untuk siswa SMA. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi produk, uji coba skala kecil, revisi desain, uji coba skala luas, revisi produk, dan produk final. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan di SMA N 1 Toroh, sedangkan uji coba skala luas dilakukan di SMA N 1 Purwodadi. Data yang diambil adalah penilaian kelayakan aplikasi media pembelajaran Androplantae berbasis Android oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, hasil penilaian produk oleh guru dan siswa dan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validator ahli media dan ahli materi memberikan penilaian dengan rerata persentase 93% (kriteria sangat layak). Siswa memberi tanggapan dengan persentase 82% (kriteria sangat baik), guru memberi tanggapan dengan persentase 90% (kriteria sangat baik) dan hasil belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Androplantae berbasis Android layak dan efektif untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi dunia tumbuhan untuk siswa SMA. Based on potential analysis told that student have an enormous interest in gadget. This research aims to develop learning media Androplantae through android-based product on plantae content for senior high-school students. The steps start from identification of the potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, revision of the product, small-scale trial, revision of the design, large-scale trial, revision of the product, and final product. Small-scale trial conducted in SMA N 1 Toroh, while the large-scale trial conducted in SMA N 1 Purwodadi. The taken data were feasibility of android-based learning media Androplantae by media and content expert, the result of product by teachers and students, and student’s learning result after using the product. The result showed that validator of media and content give an assessment with an average percentage of 93% (very decent). The students’ respond with an average percentage of 82% (very good), teachers’ respond with an average percentage 90% (very good) and student’s learning result achieve classical completeness with 90%. Based on the result of this research we concluded that android-based learning media Androplantae was decent and effective for learning of plantae in senior high-school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis bahan ajar yang digunakan sebelumnya di SMA N 1 Bulakamba, mendeskripsikan kelayakan modul dan menguji efektivitas modul terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen Pre Experimental Design dengan jenis Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design . Uji coba skala besar menggunakan kelas XI IPA 3 dan XI IPA 4 SMA N 1 Bulakamba yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahan ajar yang digunakan sebelummya di SMA N 1 Bulakamba adalah buku paket dari salah satu penerbit. Kelayakan modul sistem pertahanan tubuh berbasis bioedutainment memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 97,33% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Uji coba skala besar, semua siswa mengalami peningkatan skor pretest dan posttest dengan kriteria sedang sampai tinggi, rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 77,90% dan aktivitas siswa mencapai 87,01% dengan kriteria aktif dan sangat aktif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa modul pertahanan tubuh berbasis bioedutainment sangat layak dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. This research aimed to described the type of teaching materials previously used in SMA N 1 Bulakamba, describes eligibility module and measure the effectiveness the module for the student learning achievement and activities. The method is research and development with pre experimental design Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design.Large-scale field-testing was class XI IPA 3 and XI IPA 4 in Senior High School 1 of Bulakamba were determined using purposive sampling. The results showed said that before teaching materials used in SMA N 1 Bulakamba is the textbook from one of the publishers. Feasibility aspects the immune system module based biodeutainment obtained a score of 97.3% with a veryfeasiblecriteria. Large-scale field-testing, all students has increased pretest and posttest scores with the criteria of medium to high, the average classical completeness amounted to 77.90% and student activites reached 87.01% . It was concluded that the immune system module based biodeutainment was very feasible and effectively for the student learningachievement and activities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model TPS terintegrasi Mind mapping terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria di MAN 2 Brebes pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Quasi Experiment dengan desain Noneequivalent Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIA 3 berjumlah 38 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang dan X MIA 4 berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penyelesaian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, tugas, tes, dan angket. Data kreativitas berupa hasil observasi dan hasil Mind mapping yang dibuat siswa. Hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh dari peningkatan nilai Pre-test dan Post-test. Hasil perhitungan kreativitas menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mencapai kriteria kreatif sedangkan kelas kontrol kurang kreatif. Analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh model terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar dilakukan dengan uji Independent Samples t Test. Hasil uji t data kreativitas siswa menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvensional dengan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model TPS. N-Gain kedua kelas juga terbukti berbeda signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model TPS terintegrasi Mind mapping berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria. This research aimed to discover the effect of applyingTPS model integrated with Mind mapping to the students’ creativity and learning achievement inArchaebacteria and Eubacteria subject in MAN 2 Brebes in the first semester inthe academic year 2015/2016. It appliedthe Quasi Experiment with Noneequivalent Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. The sample of the researchused were38 students of X MIA 3 as the class control and 32 students of X MIA 4 as the experimental classby applying Purposive Sampling technique. The procedure of the research included the steps of preparing, conductingandfinishing. The technique to collect the data was done by observation, assignments, tests, and questionnaire. The data of creativity was presented as the observation result and Mind mapping resultmade by the students. The result of cognitive learning was gained by from the improvementon the score in Pre-test and Post-test. The result from the creativity counting shows thatthe experimental classachieves the criteria of creativitywhile class control is less creative. The analysis used for discovering the effect of the model to the students’ creativity and learning achievement is done by Independent samples t test. Based on the result of t test, the data of students’ creativity presents a significant difference between class control which applied conventional model and experimental class which applied TPS. Both of the classes’ N-Gain prove a significant difference. Based on the previous discussion, it can be concluded that the application of TPS model which is integrated with Mind mapping effects on the students’ creativity and learning achievement in Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria subject.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh strategi brain based learning pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Eka Sakti Semarang. VII Bahasa dan VII Bhinneka dipilih menjadi sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dinyatakan berpengaruh apabila terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diuji menggunakan uji t. Hasil analisis uji t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifkan yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi brain based learning pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup berpengaruh lebih baik terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. The study examines the effect of brain based learning strategy on material classification of living things on sudents’ critical thinking. The study adopted non-equivalent control group design. The population of the study included all junior primary Eka Sakti Semarang. VII Bahasa and VII Bhinneka were selected using purposive sampling technique. This study avowed to be influential if there was a significant difference between critical thinking skill of experimental group and control group. Data of students’ critical thinking skill was examined using t test. The result of t test analyis showed that there was a significant difference which critical thinking skill of experimental group better than the control group. The study showed that brain based learning strategy on material classification of living things has positive effect on sudents’ critical thinking skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan TV-News terhadap kemampuan analisis siswa menggunakan quasi experiment design dengan pola Pretest-Posttest one group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 24 Semarang, sedangkan sampelnya adalah sebagian dari kelas VIII yaitu kelas VIII C menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai kemampuan analisis siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Dari hasil analisis uji t diperoleh bahwa t hitung > t tabel yaitu 2.07 > 2.03 maka ada perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan analisis siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Selain itu kemampuan analisis siswa berada pada kriteria baik dan cukup, dengan persentase baik 56.25 dan cukup 43.75. Hal ini didukung dengan aktivitas siswa dan tanggapan guru dan siswa yang memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan TV-News berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa pada materi bahan kimia kehidupan. The study aims to understand the influence of learning model the problem based learning through tv-news of the ability of analysis students to the matter chemicals life. The study is quasi experiment design. The design of the study uses pretest-posttest one group design. The population in this study is all of the eighth grade students of Junior High School in 24 Semarang, while the sample is the students of class VIII C. The samples were collected by convenience sampling. The results of the study showed that there are differences average score pretest and posttest. The results of pretest and posttest obtained later in analysis by t-test. The results of pretest and posttest acquired analysis by t-test. t-test results obtained that t count> ttable.. t count is 2.07, whereas for the t table is 2.03. So any significant difference between pretest and posttest grades. In addition analytical capability students are to a criterion good and quite , with the good of 56.25 and quite of 43.75. This is supported with the activity students and the response of teachers and students who provide a positive response to the problem of learning model based learning through tv-news. Based on the results of the study concluded that learning a problem with a model based learning through tv-news impact on analytical capability students on any material chemicals life .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan Biomagz sebagai suplemen dalam pembelajaran sistem reproduksi di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-experimental dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Semarang yang terdiri dari 7 kelas MIA. Sampel penelitian kelas XI MIA 1 yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar sistem reproduksi menggunakan Biomagz dengan KKM (thitung > ttabel). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mempunyai sikap positif (20 siswa) lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mempunyai sikap negatif (17 siswa). Hasil analisis korelasi hasil belajar siswa dan skor sikap menunjukkan bahwa nilai r sebesar 0,055 yang berarti bahwa hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap peduli siswa pada kesehatan reproduksi sangat rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa, (1) rerata hasil belajar siswa materi sistem reproduksi menggunakan Biomagz lebih tinggi dari KKM dan penerapan Biomagz sebagai suplemen dalam pembelajaran sistem reproduksi di SMA dapat meningkatkan sikap peduli siswa pada kesehatan reproduksi, (2) tidak ada hubungan antara hasil belajar dan sikap peduli siswa pada kesehatan reproduksi. This study aims to analyze the application of biomagz as a supplement in learning the reproductive system in high school. The research is pre-experimental with the design One-shot Case Study. Population research were students class XI SMA N 11 Semarang consisting of 7 class MIA. The sample class XI MIA 1 taken a simple random sampling. The research results show that there is a significant difference between study results reproducing system using Biomagz with KKM (thitung>ttabel). The results of the study also found that students who have positiveness (20 students) more than students who have negative attitude (17 students). The results of the analysis correlation study results students and a score attitude showing that the r of 0,055 which means that the relationship between knowledge and attitude care students on reproductive health very low. Based on the results of research obtained we can conclude that, (1) average learning outcomes students matter reproducing system using Biomagz higher than KKM and application of Biomagz as a supplement in learning the reproductive system of in high school can increase attitude care students to reproductive healthcare, (2) shall not there was a correlation between learning outcomes and attitudes of students care to reproductive healthcare.

Abstract

Model Guided Discovery Inquiry pada pembelajaran Fungi di SMA merupakan model pembelajaran yang mendorong keaktifan peserta didik melalui kegiatan penyelidikan sehingga siswa mampu menemukan sendiri fakta dan konsep pengetahuan serta mengubah kebiasaan siswa dari mendengarkan informasi menjadi mencari informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Guided Discovery Inquiry terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi fungi di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi-Experiment Design dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 83,22 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 75,71. Hasil uji N-gain menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen terdapat peningkatan sebesar 0,73 dengan kriteria tinggi sementara kelas kontrol sebesar 0,62 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai afektif dan psikomotorik kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol.Nilai karakter siswa yaitu karakter keingintahuan dan kedisiplinan siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Inquiry efektif tehadap hasil belajar siswa di MA Al Irsyad Gajah Demak. A Guided Discovery Inquiry Model of Fungi subject in senior high school is a learning model that supports students’ through an investigation. Through this investigation, students are able to discover the facts and concepts of science by their ownselves. They are also able to change their habit from listening to the learning material only to look for the information about the material. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of A Guided Discovery Inquiry Model towards students’ achievement of fungi subject in senior high school. The method of investigation used in this study was a Quasi-Experiment Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results of the difference between two averages showed that the average of the experimental group post-test was higher than the control group. The average of cognitive study in the experimental group was 83,22 and the control group was 75,71. The result of N-gain test showed that there was an increase in the experimental group of 0,73 with high criteria and an increase in the control group of 0,62 with medium criteria. The result of a descriptive analysis showed that the average of the affective and psychometric study in the experimental group was higher than the control group. Students’ characters that are curiosity and discipline of the experimental group were higher than the control group. Based on the achievement of the study, it can be concluded that A Guided Discovery Inquiry Model of Fungi subject in senior high school is effective towards the students’ achievement in MA Al-Irsyad Gajah Demak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan JAS dengan sumber belajar Laboratorium Biologi dan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan Unnes materi Keanekaragaman Hayati di MA Al Asror Gunungpati. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experimental. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XA (kelas kontrol) dan XB (kelas eksperimen). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan >75% aktivitas belajar siswa masuk kriteria aktif dan sangat aktif. Secara kognitif, rata-rata ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai 96,4% sedangkan kelas kontrol 60,7%. Berdasarkan analisis data aspek psikomotorik, kelas eksperimen mendapatkan hasil lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol, yaitu 100% siswa masuk kriteria A. Pada aspek afektif di kelas eksperimen 85,7% siswa masuk kriteria sangat baik, dan sisanya pada kriteria baik. Hasil analisis uji n-gain aktivitas dan semua hasil belajar kelas eksperimen memperoleh rerata lebih tinggi. Hasil rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 98,3% siswa mengatakan terlaksana (kinerja guru sangat baik). Secara umum guru dan siswa juga memberikan tanggapan sangat baik terhadap pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan JAS bersumber belajar Laboratorium Biologi dan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan Unnes berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar materi Keanekaragaman hayati siswa kelas X MA Al Asror Gunungpati. The study aimed to find out the students’ activities and results in learning using JAS approach. The resources were Biology Laboratory and Educational Garden of Unnes. The material learned was Biodiversity in MA Al Asror Gunungpati. This study was done by a quasi-experimental design. The sample used was XA class (control group) and XB (experimental group).The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that >75% of student learning activities qualified as active and very active. Cognitively, the average completeness study of the end of the experimental class students reached 96,4% while the control group was 60,7%. Based on data analysis of psychomotor aspect, the experimental class got better results than the control class, it was 100% of students in criteria of A. The affective aspects in the experimental class showed that 85.7% of students qualified as very good, and the others were in good criteria. The results of analysis of n-gain activity test and all the experimental class learning outcomes’ mean were higher than control class. Average results of feasibility study showed that 98,3% of students said that the learning was feasible (teacher's performance was very good). In general, teachers and students also responded very well to the applied learning. The conclusion of the research results showed that learning with JAS approach which resources of Biology Laboratory and Educational Garden of Unnes had a significant effect to the activities and results in Biodiversity concept to X graders of MA Al Asror Gunungpati.

Abstract

Buku Teks Pelajaran (BTP) adalah buku panduan peserta didik terbaru yang digunakan dalam Kurikulum 2013. Sekolah Menengah Pertama wajib menggunakan BTP berjudul “Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam SMP/ MTs Kelas VII Semester 1 dan 2 cetakan ke-2 2014” pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberadaan pendidikan karakter pada BTP tersebut dengan menggunakan pendekatan semi kualitatif. Sumber data berupa dokumen yang didukung wawancara narasumber. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode analisis muatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi data sesuai model analisis Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian membuktikan BTP IPA Kurikulum 2013 pada materi Biologi kelas VII SMP memuat nilai pendidikan karakter meliputi nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, komunikatif, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan dan tanggung jawab. Nilai peduli sosial dan cinta damai tidak ditemukan baik di BTP Semester 1 ataupun 2. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena kedua nilai tersebut lebih mengarah pada kegiatan sosial, sedangkan IPA adalah ilmu yang mempelajari gejala alam. “Buku Teks Pelajaran” (BTP) is the newest textbook used in “Kurikulum 2013”. “Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam SMP/ MTs Kelas VII Semester 1 dan 2 cetakan ke-2 tahun 2014 (edisi revisi)” is a compulsory book used to teach Science in Middle School. The existence of character education inside BTP hasn’t been confirmed because previously there never been an analysis on BTP. This research will analyze the existence of character education in the textbook used to teach biology in middle school. Data used in this research were a textbook and an interview with a science teacher and the data gathering techniques are literature analysis, interviews, and documentation. Data reduction analysis was used in accordance to the Miles & Huberman analysis model. This research proved that the Biology textbook for 7th Grade Junior High School contains character education values in accordance with the indicators of character education essay that was published by Indonesian Ministry of Education in 2010. There were 16 character education values inside the textbook, those values are religious, honesty, independence, cooperation, creativity, discipline, democratic, curiosity, the national spirit, love of the homeland, appreciate the achievements, communication, passion to read, environmental awareness, and responsibility. The Biology textbook for 7th Grade Junior High School contains all character education values except for the social empathy and love for peace values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif pembelajaran model project based learning (PjBL) materi sistem ekskresi manusia terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari tes tertulis, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan lembar observasi, tanggapan siswa diperoleh dari lembar angket, dan tanggapan guru diperoleh dari lembar wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang sangat signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil tersebut ditunjukkan oleh rerata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol dan pencapaian ketuntasan belajar klasikal kelas eksperimen yang juga lebih tinggi (81%) dibanding kelas kontrol (31%). Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan sangat baik terhadap model pembelajaran PjBL yang diterapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pembelajaran model PjBL materi sistem ekskresi yang diterapkan berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. This study aimed to determine the positive influence of Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model which is taught in excretory system concept to student learning outcomes. This study was Quasi Experimental with nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Student learning outcomes were obtained from written tests, learning activity by observation sheet, student responses from questionnaire sheets, and teacher’s responses from questionnaires. The results showed that there were very significant differences in learning outcomes between experimental and control class. These results showed by the average of experiment class posttest score which was higher than control class and by classical mastery learning achievement of experimental class which was also higher (81%) compared to the control group (31%). Students and teachers responded very well to the applied learning model. Based on the results, Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in excretory system concept positively affected student learning outcomes.
