Abstract

Implementation of the Harvest Premium System and its Impact on the Performance and Job Satisfaction of Harvest Employees at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Buatan Pekanbaru Harvest premium is the income earned by harvest employees if the harvested production has reached the wholesale basis set by the company. The harvest premium system at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Buatan uses a weight system. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the influence of harvest premiums on the performance and job satisfaction of harvest employees at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Buatan Pekanbaru. The sample in this study was determined based on non-probability using the saturated sampling method (census), where all members of the population were sampled in this study as many as 68 samples. This research was conducted by means of interviews and documentation as well as questionnaires where the variables were measured using a Likert scale instrument. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the harvest premium had an effect on the performance and job satisfaction of harvest employees. Suggestions from the results of this study to employees of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Buatan Pekanbaru is to optimize the sources of labor in the family and carry out harvesting orderly in order to improve harvest performance.

Abstract

The Impact of Celukan Bawang Power Plant Activities on the Socio-Economic Life of the Coastal Community of Celukan Bawang Village Gerokgak District Buleleng Regency PLTU Celukan Bawang is a steam power plant that was built in Celukan Bawang Village, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. This PLTU was built to meet the need for electrical energy in Bali which continues to increase every year along with the development of the tourism sector and digitalization in various sectors of people's lives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of the PLTU Celukan Bawang activity on the social and economic life of the coastal communities of Celukan Bawang, the majority of whom work as fishermen along the coast of Celukan Bawang. This type of research is descriptive with a survey method through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with the main informants. The analysis technique of this research is descriptive percentage. The results of this study indicate the impact of the company's activities on aspects of the social and economic life of the coastal village community, the majority of whom work as fishermen. These impacts include income, education, job opportunities, and results from MSMEs in the surrounding community. Based on this research, the Celukan Bawang PLTU and the local government are expected to pay more attention to the welfare aspect, especially for the fishermen around where they are the group most affected by the company's daily activities. This can be done by providing assistance in the form of fishing gear or in the form of special trainings on a regular basis so that the fishing communities there can also experience direct benefits from the company. In addition, for the people in coastal villages to pay more attention to the educational aspects of their children.

Abstract

Factors Affecting Traders Income at Sanglah Market During the COVID-19 Pandemic Sanglah Market is a type of traditional market that provides people's daily needs. Judging from the data from the secretariat of traders at Sanglah Market, some traders who sell kiosks or have their licenses revoked because of a decrease in income so that traders find it difficult to pay their obligations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of traders, analyze the factors that affect the income of traders and the problems faced by traders at Sanglah Market during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative with SPSS-25 analysis technique. The data used are primary data from the respondents' questionnaires measured by an open scale. The results showed that the characteristics of the dominant traders aged 15-65 years were female, the number of family dependents was 4-6 people and came from the Denpasar area. Capital factors, trading locations and types of merchandise have a positive and significant effect on income. The factor of trading hours has a negative and insignificant effect on the income of traders at Sanglah Market during the COVID-19 pandemic. The problems faced by traders at Sanglah Market during the COVID-19 pandemic were the declining purchasing power of consumers, the decrease in consumer visits to the market, the reduced number of merchandise and the decline in the price of merchandise.

Abstract

Family Welfare Empowerment Strategy (PKK) in Improving Family Economy Sipinggan Lumbansiantar Village, Nainggolan District, Samosir Regency Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) is an organization engaged in community development, with 25 members domiciled in Sipinggan Lumbansiantar Village. Its existence is expected to increase the creativity of the community so that it can improve the family’s economy by utilizing the yard they have. The objectives of the study include identifying internal and external factors and developing PKK strategies. Research methods include. (1) interviews with respondents and key informants, (2) analysis of the IFAS and EFAS matrices, (3) formulating strategies with SWOT. The results showed that the internal factor that became the strength was that farming could help the PKK family’s economy in Sipinggan Lumbansiantar Village. The internal factor that becomes a weakness is that the members have less creativity. Meanwhile, the external factor that becomes an opportunity is the availability of tradisional markets as a place to sell the products produced. External factors that pose a threat are the incitement that the PKK is considered a waste of time and people who prefer to buy instant ones rather that using their home yards. The Family Welfare Empowerment Strategy (PKK) in improving the family economy of Sipinggan Lumbansiantar Village was obtained from SWOT.

Abstract

Influencing Factors Toward Rice Selling with Rice Slash System in Subak Babakan, Sambangan Village, Sukasada Subdistrict, Buleleng Regency The purpose of this study was to determine the influenced factors such as; age, education, farming experience, number of family dependents, and land tenure were affected farmers for making decision for choosen rice sold with slash system and their bargaining position within sold grain with the slash system. This research was done in Subak Babakan, Sambangan Village, Sukasada Sub-District, Buleleng Regency. The subjek was 36 farmers of Subak Babakan. The land ownership per household was on average 0.80 hectares. Meanwhile, in the negotiation of crop yields with the slashing system, the bargaining position of farmers were still very low due to a lack of knowledge and negotiation skills in determining the price of grain. The results showed that some the factors showed positive effect. Those effect were age, education background, farming experience, number of family dependents and land tenure has significantly effect. The statistical analysis result showed t-count > t-table. The data also showed the farmers bargaining position within sold grain in the slash system was still very low. This due to lack of knowledge and skills in negotiation and determination of the price of grain.

Abstract

Customer Behavior Against the Presence of Automated Teller Machines (ATM) at Local Credit Institution (LPD) of Beraban Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency Local Credit Institutions (LPD) are non-bank financial institutions organized by local governments and are autonomous and oriented towards strengthening the economic and socio-cultural life of indigenous peoples in Bali. Increasing profits and progress made in LPD make it always carry out the latest innovations in products to be marketed. Technological developments are becoming very global with regard to the efficiency and ability of banks to earn non-interest income in the future. One of the information technology innovations that play a very important role in the banking world is ATM services. With the ATM service in the LPD, it will certainly make it easier for people to make transactions. The existence of this ATM service, of course, has to look at how the community will behave towards the latest innovations from the LPD. Behaviors are specific actions directed at some target object. While the desire to behave is a proposition that connects itself with future actions. This study aims to analyze customer behavior towards the existence of ATM services in terms of three indicators, namely the level of customer knowledge, customer attitudes, and customer actions. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection was obtained directly by researchers through observation, interviews and filling out questionnaires submitted to customers at the Beraban Village LPD as many as 100 respondents with a stratified random sampling technique, namely respondents were grouped into three groups based on customer balances. The overall analysis carried out is for the variable knowledge either or know about ATM. For the variable of customer attitudes towards ATM. are in the good category, meaning that customers have a very good attitude towards the existence of ATM. In the action variable, the customer already has a very good action on the existence of an ATM. From the results of a thorough analysis obtained, it is stated that customer behavior regarding the emergence of new innovations created by LPD to assist customer transactions in the form of ATM is good, where customers use and receive many benefits from the available ATM.

Abstract

Farmers' Perceptions on the Transfer of Functions of Rice Land in Subak Cuculan, City of Denpasar Every year agricultural land is shrinking. In 2017-2018, Subak Cuculan experienced the largest land conversion in South Denpasar covering an area of 40ha. Rice fields are converted to non-agricultural sectors. This study aims to determine the farmers' perception of the conversion of rice fields in the Cuculan subak by making the farmers a member of the Cuculan subak as respondents. Data was collected by interview, documentation, and observation. The data that has been collected is processed using qualitative descriptive. Sampling of 30 farmers with a simple random method, the assessment uses a Likert scale to obtain valid and reliable research results. Farmers' perceptions of the conversion of paddy fields in the Cuculan subak are seen from 4 aspects. Resulting in the conclusion that farmers' perceptions of land conversion on the economic aspect scored 3.21 (neutral), the socio-cultural aspect scored 3.13 (neutral), the technical aspect got a score of 2.66 (neutral), and the environmental aspect got a score of 3.24 (neutral). Suggestions that can be given by researchers on each aspect: the economic aspect can increase the subsidy for the supply of production factors, the sociocultural aspect increases the intensity of meetings and communication, the technical aspect makes it easier to access production factors such as seeds and the environmental aspect increases the action against violations of regulations related to the disposal of factory waste.

Abstract

Analysis of the Role of Corn Commodities in the Economy of the Karo Regency Corn is one of the world's most important food crops, besides wheat and rice. Karo Regency has the highest corn production in North Sumatra Province.The purposes of this study are (1) to examine whether corn is a basic commodity in Karo Regency; (2) to analyze Karo Regency's revenue from corn; and (3) to examine the role of corn in the economy of Karo Regency. This research is descriptive and quantitative. This research was conducted in Karo Regency. This research uses secondary data. Data collection is done by documentation and analyzed using Location Quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient, Shift Share, and Acceptance methods. The results showed that corn is a basic commodity with a value of LQ > 1 and will remain a basic commodity in the future with a value of DLQ > 1. Karo Regency's revenue from corn commodities from the year of observation fluctuated, namely in 2016 it decreased by 11% and increased in 2017 by 18%. In 2018, it again decreased by 6% and experienced a fairly large increase in 2019, which was 29%. Corn commodities in Karo Regency have an important role in the economy of the Karo Regency area, including opportunities to increase people's purchasing power for processed corn products, both for food and feed products. The Karo Regency government can provide necessary counseling and assistance to farmers to increase corn commodity production in Karo Regency, which, in the end, can increase the wealth or ability of Karo Regency to carry out regional development.

Abstract

Analysis of Financial Performance of KSU Sri Nadi Bersama Before and During the Covid 19 Pandemic The concept of creating shared value is a business sustainability practice that has the nature to provide strengthening and independence of the surrounding environment. This consensus has been implemented by cooperatives in accordance with its function that gathers weak economic strength to become the lifeblood of the economy and strengthen the economic life of the nation. However, the Covid 19 pandemic has proven to have a bad effect on the micro to maceoeconomics. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the financial performance of KSU Sri Nadi Bersama Denpasar before and during the Covid 19 pandemic. The study used primary data in the form of monthly financial statements and primary data through interviews. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and paired t test on financial performance liquidity ratio, solvency ratio, profitability ratio and activity ratio. The results showed that there was a significant difference in liquidity ratio and solvency ratio in the pre-Covid 19 pandemic when compared to during the Covid 19 outbreak. Profitability ratios and activity ratios that showed no significant difference in financial performance in the period before and during the Covid 19 outbreak.

Abstract

Relationship between Leader's Communication Style and Employee Performance of PT. Socfin Indonesia Plantation Tanah Beih Serdang Bedagai North Sumatra The performance of each employee in each division is highly dependent on the communication style of the leader of the division head. Differences in leadership style of communication often lead to jealousy between divisions. In addition, based on observations made at PT. Socfin Indonesia Plantation Tanah Besih Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra, the performance of the employees is considered to be lacking. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership communication style, employee performance, and the relationship between leadership communication style and employee performance at PT. Socfin Indonesia, Serdang Bedagai Land Plantatio n, North Sumatra. The population in this study were 226 people. Sampling using the Slovin formula so that the number of respondents in this study were 69 employees with descriptive research methods and data analysis used was descriptive analysis and statistical correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate that the leadership communication style has a positive and significant relationship with the performance of employees of PT. Socfin Indonesia Perkebunan Tanah Besi, Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra, amounted to 67,6%, this is assumed based on the results of the correlation test with the acquisition of the correlation coefficient value obtained at 0,676 with a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0,00 < 0,05 and the results of the linearity test with an F value of Linearity of 66,30 > F table 3,13 with a significance value of 0,00 < 0,05. The leader's communication style has a score between 139-276 which means that the leader's communication style in the category is good enough to be good enough with respondents who responded well enough as many as 18 people (26,1%) who gave good responses as many as 18 people (26,1%).
