Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar standar kompetensi mengukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dan yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran drill. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pre test-Post test Control Group Design, menggunakan Tes pilihan ganda sebagai alat pengumpul data penelitian. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 1 Kota Semarang terdiri dari 108 siswa dan diambil 72 siswa sebagai sampel. Hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen adalah 81,70 dan rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 72,70. Kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan mempunyai dua varians yang sama. Pada uji perbedaan dua rata-rata diperoleh thitung= 4,66. Untuk α = 5% dan dk = (36+36-2) = 70 diperoleh t(0,95)(70) = 1,99, karena thitung ≥ t (0,95)(70) maka H0 ditolak, hal ini berarti ada perbedaan hasil belajar secara signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol atau dengan kata lain hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol.This research aims to find out the results of an standart competence measure with measuring tools learning courses that use demonstrasi learning method and use the drill learning method . This study is an experimental research design with pre-test post test control group design, use the multiple chois test as a tool for collecting research data. The population of the research was a student at mechanical engineering SMK N 1 Semarang city consists of 108 students and taken 72 students as a sample. The research results obtained average post-test test class is 81,70 and the average of the control class is 72,70 . In the hypothesis test is obtained tarithmetic = 4,66 (α = 5%) and dk = (36+36-2) = 70 obtained t(0,95)(70) = 1,99. Because tarithmetic ≥ t (0,95)(70) then H0 rejected.

Abstract

In the observation made ​​in SMK Negeri 1 Ampelgading Pemalang , teachers still use the learning model on conventional model of learning that occurs in one direction , so the learning process ari teachers only. Issues raised in the study is that there is a difference or not between the use of Kolbs experiential learning model and conventional learning on competency models to understand the basics of the machine ? The goal is to prove judging or not there is a difference between Kolbs experiential learning model with the conventional model of learning to understand the basic competence - the base engine . In this study using experimental research designs is true experiment , because in this design the researcher controls all external variables that affect the experimental procedure used in this study is a pretest - posttest design types desaign control group . This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Ampelgading . The population in this study was 5 class X class 2013/2014 . The samples used were 2 classes of class X TKR 1 number of 39 students of class X and TKR 4 number of 40 students . Class X TKR 1 as experimental class X and class 4 as a class kontrol.Penggumpulan TKR data using statistical and data analysis using the t test . Based on the analysis of data obtained that the average - average results of a study to understand the basic competence - basic engine in the experimental group were originally 51.20 into 82.82 or an increase of 71 % , whereas in the control group who initially had an average of 52 , 33 to 65.5 , or an increase of 29 % . calculation results of data analysis there is a difference between Kolbs experiential learning model with the conventional model of learning to understand the basic competence - the base engine . For teachers , the use of the application of Kolbs experiential learning can be one of the solutions and alternatives to improve student achievement.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi temperatur cetakan ter-hadap karakteristik briket kayu sengon dengan cara menguji sifat fisik, kimia dan kekuatan mekaniknya. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah serbuk kayu sengon yang diperoleh di industri pengolahan kayu yang berada di kecamatan Gunung Pati. Pembuatan briket diawali dengan penjemuran serbuk gergaji kayu sengon hingga kadar air kurang dari 14% kemudian digiling, diayak lolos mesh 60 dan ditimbang 3,5 gram setiap sampel. Sebelum dilakukan pembriketan, cetakan di-panaskan terlebih dahulu. Ada tiga perlakuan yaitu, temperatur cetakan 1000C den-gan mengkondisikan temperatur bahan baku 800C, temperatur cetakan 1200C den-gan mengkondisikan temperatur bahan baku 900C dan temperatur cetakan 1400C dengan mengkondisikan temperatur bahan baku 1000C. Pembriketan dilakukan dengan cara pemadatan bahan baku pada tekanan 6000 Psig dengan waktu pena-han 1 menit. Pembuatan briket dilakukan tanpa menambahkan bahan lain untuk perekat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kalor yang dihasilkan sebesar 4250,63 kal/gr. Energi densitas tertinggi terdapat pada temperatur cetakan 1200C sebesar 3494,018 kal/cc. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa spesimen dengan pengaruh variasi temperatur cetakan yang paling baik yaitu dimiliki spesimen den-gan variasi temperatur 1200C. Proses variasi temperatur cetakan berpengaruh ter-hadap stability dan drop test tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap densitas.AbstractThe objective of this study is to influence of temperature variation to wood briquette char-acteristic of sengon by testing the nature of physical, chemical and strength of mechanic. The materials used in the study is wood serbuk of sengon obtained in industry processing of wood residing in district of Gunung Pati. Making of briquette early with wood sawdust drier of sengon till rate irrigate less than 14% ;then milled, to be sieved to get away mesh 60 and deliberated by 3,5 gram each sampel. Before conducted by briquette, die temperatur heated beforehand. There is three treatment that is, temperature variation1000C with condition of raw material temperature 800C, temperature variation 1200C with condition of raw material temperature 900C and temperature variation 1400C with condition of raw material tempera-ture 1000C. Briquette conducted by condensation of raw material at pressure 6000 Psig with holding time 1 minute. Making of briquette done without enhancing other materials for glue. Result of research indicate that calorific value yielded equal to 4250,63 kal/gr. highest energy density there are at temperature variation 1200C equal to 3494,018 kal/cc. Result of research indicate that spesimen with influence of temperature variation of that is owned by spesimen with temperature variation of 1200C. Process influence of temperature variation of have an effect on to and stability of drop test but do not have an effect on to density.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Fluid Ciruit System Experiment untuk mengukur kerugian minor yang terjadi pada fitting elbow dan tee dengan variasi penutupan gate valve sebagai pengatur debit, dan juga untuk mengetahui koefisien kerugian pada fitting elbow dan tee. Penelitian ini menggunakan pipa tembaga       1 inch dengan variasi penutupan gate valve dari 0-4 putaran tutupan. Kerugian minor dapat dilihat pada manometer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan pendekatan 4D. Validasi media pembelajaran dilakukan oleh 2 pakar ahli mekanika fluida. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner/angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data untuk kuesioner/angket menggunakan deskriptif persentase. Pengukuran kerugian minor dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali kemudian diambil rata-rata, sehingga diperoleh data hasil penelitian. Hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran ini berupa penggantian reservoir, pemberian nomor pada masing-masing komponen media pembelajaran, penambahan manometer air raksa (Hg). Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari 2 pakar ahli mekanika fluida diperoleh nilai 87,72% sehingga media pembelajaran ini dikategorikan sangat layak digunakan. Komponen-komponen yang digunakan sudah memenuhi standar dan dalam penggunaan sudah berjalan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aliran fluida yang melewati fitting elbow dan tee mengalami kerugian minor yang dipengaruhi oleh gate valve, semakin betambah penutupan gate valve semakin menurun kerugian minor yang terjadi. Dengan menggunakan persamaan kerugian minor, dapat diperoleh nilai koefisien kerugian pada fitting elbow 900 sebesar 0,99428 sedangkan pada fitting tee sebesar 1,22237.This study aims to develop instructional media Fluid Circuit System Experiment to measure the minor losses that occur in the elbow and tee fittings with variations closing gate valve as a regulator of discharge, and also to determine the loss coefficient at the elbow and tee fittings. Study using 1 inch copper pipe with variations of gate valve closing cover of 0-4 rounds. Minor losses can be seen on the manometer. The method used is the method of research and development with 4D approach. Validation is done by 2 instructional media experts fluid mechanics expert. Data collection using questionnaires / questionnaire and documentation. Analysis of the data for the questionnaire / questionnaire using deskriptif percentage. Measurements minor damages done 3 times and then an average is taken, in order to obtain research data. The results of the development of instructional media is either replacement of the reservoir, giving the number of each component of instructional media, the addition of water manometer mercury (Hg). Based on the results of two expert expert validation of fluid mechanics so that the values ​​obtained 87.72% of instructional media is considered very fit for use.The components that are used to meet the standard and has been running well in use. The results showed that fluid flow past the elbow and tee fittings suffered minor losses are influenced by the gate valve, the gate valve closure betambah diminishing minor losses that occur. By using equations minor losses, the loss coefficient can be obtained on fitting elbow90 0 at 0.99428 while the tee fitting at 1.22237.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya dan seberapa besar relevansi antara latar belakang pendidikan dengan bidang usaha wirausahawan (studi kasus pada usaha bidang teknik mesin) di Kota Semarang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 124 pengusaha bidang teknik mesin di Kota Semarang. Sampel dalam pe-nelitian ini adalah 43 pengusaha bidang teknik mesin. Analisis data menggunakan uji koefisien kontingensi atau uji chi2 dan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada relevansi yang tinggi antara latar belakang pendidikan dilihat dari jenis pendidikan formal dengan bidang usaha wirausahawan (studi kasus pada usa-ha bidang teknik mesin) di Kota Semarang.AbstractThe purpose of this study to determine whether or not and how much of the relevance of the educational background of the field of business entrepreneurs (business case studies in the field of mechanical engineering) in the city of Semarang. The population is 124 entrepre-neurs in mechanical engineering in the city of Semarang. The sample in this study was 43 entrepreneurs in mechanical engineering. The analysis using contingency coefficient test or chi2 test and descriptive percentage. The results showed a high relevancy between educational background in terms of the kind of formal education with the business entrepreneurs (business case study in the field of mechanical engineering) in the city of Semarang.

Abstract

The purpose of this action research is to increase the basic competence of learning result of the competence based using mechanical measuring devices through the application of Group Investigation (GI) learning model  assisted school modules, and to increase students learning activities. The reseach subject are students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan grade X TP4 year 2013/2014 with 37 students by using two cycles. Each siclus consist of 4 steps they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting data is using documentation, observation and test. The result of this research is there are increasement learning result of the students in basic competence using mechanical measuring devices. Based on the data analysis and content the result it self are, first, applying learning model of group investigation that helped by school module are able to increase the students learning result, it can be known from the students result of first cycle that are 61,4 become 79,3 and in second cycle with the result prosentation from first cycle that are 48,65% become 81,08% in second cycle. The second, increasing students activities from 64% in first cycle become 84% in second cycle. From this data collection method, it was known that the prosentation of the students result in basic competence by using mechanical measuring devices are 45,95% students result KKM, and that have no good result are 54,05%. After applyn the learning model GI that helped by using school module, the students learning result are increase in first cycle and second cycle , that are 48,65% in first cycle become 81,08% in second cycle. It means that the learning model type GI that helped by using school module in basic competence by using mechanical measuring devices are able to increase students learning result at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan grade X TP4.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bentuk pengembangan media pembelajaran perpindahan panas secara radiasi dengan variasi material spesimen uji, untuk mengetahui besar laju perpindahan panas secara radiasi dengan variasi spesimen uji dan mengukur  kelayakan media pembelajaran serta mengetahui tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan pengembangan dengan desain penelitian ADDIE. Bahan penelitian pengembangan adalah media pembelajaran perpindahan panas radiasi berupa alat peraga dan modul. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil validasi para ahli dan tanggapan mahasiswa kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kelayakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menurut ahli media 97,42 % kriteria “sangat baik”. Menurut ahli materi perpindahan panas, persentase kelayakan media pembelajaran perpindahan panas secara radiasi yang dikembangkan 81,25 % kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil tanggapan mahasiswa memperoleh persentase 84,11 % kriteria “sangat baik”.This research aims to produce instructional media development in radiation heat transfer with the variation of the material specimen , to find a great rate of radiation heat transfer to the test specimen and measuring the variation of the feasibility study media and determine the response of students to instructional media. Using research methods research design ADDIE development. Materials research is the development of instructional media radiant heat transfer in the form of props and modules. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the validation experts and student responses and then analyzed by percentage. The results showed that the percentage of feasibility study media developed by media experts 97.42 % criterion " very good ". According to the heat transfer material , the percentage of instructional media feasibility radiation heat transfer criteria developed by 81.25 % " very good ". The results of student responses to obtain the percentage of 84.11 % criterion " very good ".
