Abstract

The aims to this research is to desain the multifungtion the ball that can fulfill the needs of basketball,  volleyball and football games, The methodes are; 1)  neds analysis, 2) Designing the initial product, 3) initial product; 4) Validation of expert by using experts; 5) Revision of the first products is done for the improvement of expert evaluation results; 6) Small scale test trials; 7) Revision of the second product; 8) large-scale trials; 9) Revision of the final product; 10) Deployment and implementation of results. Samples of small-scale trials use 36 elementary and junior high students, and for large-scale trials use 72 students of Elementary and Junior High Schools in Semarang City. The results of the final product are a multifunctional ball for basketball, volleyball and football with a size of 66 cm, made from sponge material PU (Poly Urhetane), a smooth non-slippery, weight of 270 grams, 0.250-0.3 bar of air pressure and has reflections of 105-115. Ball design describes characteristic of three ball, there are basketball, volleyball and football with bright and interesting colors. Conclusions in this study are a multifunctional ball with the correct specification as in the research results above, has a multifunction for basketball, volleyball and football for Elementary and Junior High School students, does not cause pain because they are light and proper size for Elementary and Secondary School students.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is how the competency-based supervision model of effective teachers to improve the competence of teachers of mathematics. The purpose of this research to 1) identify the profile of supervision conducted for math teachers, 2) developing a competency-based supervision model of effective teachers to improve the competence of teachers of Mathematics. This research uses research and development (research and development). Referring to the overall measures developed Borg and Gall, in this study the steps are simplified into three stages: 1) phase of the study, 2) the development stage, and 3) model validation stage. Data collection techniques used in this study were 1) in-depth interviews (in depth interviews), 2) participant observation (participant - observation), and 3) documentation (documentation). Instrument used is human and to analyze the data using analytical techniques descriptive. The results are completion of a competency-based model of supervision of teachers for effective math teachers to improve the competence of teachers of mathematics.

Abstract

Decision-making is an important thing at any time by a leader. In order decisions are taken in accordance with the objectives, the necessary information, values​​, and consultation with stakeholders. Head of Primary School of Pekunden and Islamic Al Azhar are  well-known figure in the area, because it is unique in taking decisions. Uniqueness of Pekunden Elementary School based values ​​attached to the school community that is associated with the timing, nature, and importance. While the head of the Islamic Primary School there is one thing that is different is the accountability to the foundation and to the Lord Almighty. To obtain the data used interview method is equipped with observation and documentation are carried out through a qualitative approach which aims to find the model, range, and impact of the principal decision-making in developing human resources in the State Primary School and Pekunden Islamic Al Azhar primary school Semarang. From the results of this study concluded that each school has a decision making model that is based on values​​, ways, and different approaches. As for advice to both (1) that the value that is owned by the school community not only is one thing to be considered in the decision, but it must be equipped with a reliable managerial skills, (2) should continue to explore, deepen, and expand their network in the school community to prepare a cadre of future leaders, and (3) seeks to minimize the impact of decision-making by increasing participation and communicate to the parties through a more humane approach.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the synchronization management of vocational high school graduate competence with industrial competency in mechanical major. It employed Research and Development (R & D) approach developed by Borg and Gall which was modified into three stages: (1) preliminary study; (2) development study; and (3) model dissemination. After testing its effectiveness using experimental design (before-after), the developed model was proven more effective than the old version. This insight leads positively to vocational graduate employment rate and competence improvement. Here, the stakeholders have a profound impact on model effectiveness as they assist and facilitate the synchronization process. It is recommended that their commitment or support shall reach its maximum capacity so that the vocational school graduate competence is well-matched to the demand from industry.

Abstract

School-based management (SBM) in the era of regional autonomy has changed from centralized to decentralized school-based management (MBS). Quality disparities and narrow view of regionality are not in line with  the spirit of this era. Thus, there must be an effort to overcome the problem through the school-based management based on multiculturality. The goal of senior high school in the former Pati recidency in this study has referred to the regulation of the minister of education number 19 of 2007 about school management standards and implementing school – based management (MBS). The fuction of the school management has not considered the diversity of school community, eventhough the school inputs teachers, staff, students are diverse and the school quality assurance according to the regulation of the minister of education number 63 of 2009 states that a multicultural school provides diverse education services. The identification of the problems are: 1. How is the school-based management on senior high schools in the former Pati recidency? 2. How is the development of multicultural school-based management on on senior high schools in the former Pati recidency? This dissertation uses Research and Development. In the preliminary study the writer used a qualitative approach that produced factual picture, furthermore the  development of the model started with the design of the model and then validated by experts and produced  model  I then  it was taken to the focus group discussion (FGD) and produced model of multicultural school based management on high school in the former Pati residency. The development of multicultural school-based management on high schools in the former Pati recidency should be developed to meet the  goal—the vision and mission of the school. The suggestions are : multicultural school-based management should be appointed as a national policy to meet the goal of a  school with a diversity of school community and the policy of multicultural school-based management needs to be followed up with the implementation of multicultural education in a multicultural school.

Abstract

Learning condition and situation at schools now need severe teachers performance so that they are not out of date in applying ICT for the sake of education. The application of ICT in education will only be slogan and rhetoric if there are no any serious actions. One of them is the teacher should be a front guard/starter at school. The research problems: (1) how is the grand design of the developed ICT training? (2) how is the effectiveness of the development result-model?. The research findings: (1) the developed ICT training model design is the Innovative Dick-Carey (IDC) model  which is developed by combining Dick-Carey, BPTKIP, and LPMP models, (2) as the final model result, through the t-test, the IDC training model is very effective to improve teachers performance in learning process. It is suggested that every school should provide educational infrastructures which can give more chances to ICT to be implemented in learning process.
