Abstract

The Qur'an is the word of Allah SWT which contains many miracles, both in terms of meaning and language. One aspect of the beauty of its language lies in the use of metaphors or proverbs. Amtsal is a form of comparison that describes an expression by equating it with another expression because of similarities. Therefore, this paper discusses the Secret of Proverbs in the Qur'an, focusing on: 1) Definition, history, and characteristics of Qur'anic Proverbs; 2) Types of Qur'anic Proverbs; and 3) Benefits and wisdom of Qur'anic Proverbs; 4) Ethnography regarding the actualization of human quality in the verse of proverbs. This research uses a qualitative approach with Library Research as a data collection technique. Qur'anic Proverbs is a method used in the Qur'an to describe something abstract to become real. The characteristics of proverbs involve similarities between two objects, concretizing something abstract, and explaining vague properties or circumstances. Proverbs are divided into three types, namely musharahah proverbs, kaminah proverbs, and mursalah proverbs. Proverbs can also reflect the ethnography of the actualization of quality human beings, as illustrated in the parable of Allah SWT in Q.S. Ibrahim: 24-25, which shows that good speech (Tayyibah) is an indicator of human quality.

Abstract

This research examines the different points of interpretation of religious pluralism to obtain coherent results on whether the pluralism referred to in the Qur'an is in the form of equality of every religion or plurality that respects each other with existing differences. The discourse with these two views creates bias in the interpretation of religious pluralism which has an impact on obscuring the concrete nature of the Qur'an. The type of research used is qualitative-descriptive-analytical research by explaining the explanation or depiction with clear and detailed words systematically, factually, and accurately based on existing data from library research. Furthermore, it is reduced by Abdul Hayy Al-Farmawi's muqarran method. The results of this study found that Sayyid Qutb disagrees with religious pluralism because religious plurality is a necessity, but not with religious pluralism. Maulana Farid Esack argues that whatever religion a person believes in as long as he believes in Allah and the last day and does righteous deeds, then he will get a guarantee of salvation.

The data analysis carried out provides results: 1) There is a significant impact of students' impressions of the school environment and self-discipline together towards the learning outcomes for English. This is evidenced by Sig = 0.000 0.05 and F count = 9.162. Meanwhile, the multiple correlation coefficient is 0.493 with a contribution of 24.3% to English learning outcomes. 2) There is an insignificant impact of students' impression of the school environment towards the learning outcomes for English. It is proven by Sig value = 0.326 0.05 and t count = 0.991. 3) There is a significant impact of students' impression of self-discipline towards the learning outcomes for English. This is evidenced by Sig = 0.017 0.05 and t count = 2.451. The calculation results show an impact of students' impressions of the school environment and self-discipline towards the learning outcomes for English.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of rukhsah (legal concession) for menstruating women as articulated in the Qur’an, through a comparative analysis of two prominent exegetical works: Al-Jamiʿ li Ahkam al-Qurʾan by Al-Qurthubi and Tafsir al-Munir by Wahbah az-Zuhaili. Employing a qualitative library research design and the tafsir muqaran approach formulated by ʿAbd al-Hayy al-Farmawi, the study identifies, collects, and interprets relevant Qur’anic verses addressing menstruation and legal dispensations. The findings reveal a shared recognition of certain ritual prohibitions—such as prayer, fasting, sexual intercourse, and tawaf—yet notable divergences emerge in their views on Qur’anic recitation, mosque entry, and ritual purity. Al-Qurthubi maintains a more restrictive legal stance grounded in classical fiqh, while az-Zuhaili offers a more contextualized interpretation informed by contemporary realities, including advances in hygiene and medical understanding. This study introduces a novel comparative hermeneutical framework that bridges traditional and modern perspectives, contributing to the discourse on gender-sensitive Qur’anic interpretation. It underscores the potential for a more inclusive and practical application of Islamic legal principles for menstruating women in the modern era.

Abstract

This study examines the reconsideration of the father's role in strengthening family resilience through a Qur'anic thematic exegesis (tafsir mawdhu'i) perspective, positioned as a proactive scholarly response to the growing phenomenon of fatherlessness in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative methodology integrating tafsir mawdhu'i with descriptive-analytical and socio-psychological hermeneutic approaches, this study systematically traces Qur'anic verses related to paternal roles across authoritative classical and contemporary tafsir works (including Tafsir al-Thabari, Ibn Kathir, Al-Kasysyaf, and Al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir).  The findings reveal that the Qur'an constructs paternal responsibility as multidimensional: as accountable leader (qawwam) in An-Nisa'/4:34, just provider in Al-Baqarah/2:233, and moral-spiritual guardian through At-Tahrim/66:6.  Qur'anic paternal archetypes,Luqman (31:13–19), the Prophet Ya'qub (Yusuf/12:67–68), and Ibrahim, serve as comprehensive blueprints for active paternal involvement.  The novelty of this research lies in the formulation of a five-component integrated model: (1) paternal role optimization, (2) Islamic coping strategies, (3) ecoparenting, (4) Qur'an-based father–child relational development, and (5) father training programs, as a contextualized framework to prevent fatherlessness and strengthen family resilience in the Indonesian socio-cultural context.
