Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the role of the benchmark interest rate policy implemented by Bank Indonesia in controlling Indonesia’s government debt burden through monetary and fiscal policy coordination. Research Method: This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach based on secondary data from Bank Indonesia reports, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia publications, DJPPR reports, state budget documents, and macroeconomic policy reports during the 2020–2025 period. Data were analyzed through document review, descriptive interpretation, and source triangulation. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that benchmark interest rate policy influences debt-servicing costs, sovereign bond yields, exchange-rate stability, SBN auction effectiveness, and investor confidence. Global monetary tightening and exchange rate volatility also affect refinancing conditions and government debt management strategies. Implications: The findings emphasize the importance of monetary-fiscal coordination in maintaining fiscal sustainability and financial market stability. Originality: This study integrates benchmark interest rate dynamics, sovereign financing conditions, and fiscal sustainability within Indonesia’s post-pandemic economic context.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of chicken egg distribution in maintaining food price stability and to identify factors influencing distribution efficiency within the national food system. Research Method: This study employed a qualitative library research approach using content analysis. Secondary data were collected from academic journals, books, and policy reports via Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and the Garuda database, using keyword searches, screening, and thematic coding. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that the distribution of chicken eggs in Indonesia remains inefficient due to long distribution chains, high logistics costs, weak coordination among supply chain actors, unequal market information, and intermediary dominance. Geographic fragmentation and seasonal demand fluctuations also contribute to regional price disparities and food price instability. Implications: The study emphasizes the importance of strengthening logistics infrastructure, institutional coordination, market transparency, and digital distribution systems to improve food price stability. Originality: This study integrates perspectives on distribution effectiveness, supply chain coordination, intermediary structures, and value chain inequality within a single analytical framework.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the role of Perum BULOG in maintaining the stability of Indonesia’s rice supply chain and to identify operational constraints affecting distribution effectiveness and food price stabilization. Research Method: This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews, field observations, and secondary data from BULOG annual reports, BPS statistics, and food policy regulations. Data were analyzed through interactive qualitative analysis involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion verification. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that Perum BULOG contributes to rice supply chain stability through Government Rice Reserves (CBP), domestic rice procurement, SPHP market intervention, food aid distribution, equitable distribution systems, and logistics modernization. However, operational effectiveness remains constrained by infrastructure disparities, transportation barriers, warehousing limitations, and institutional coordination challenges across regions. Implications: The study highlights the importance of strengthening logistics governance, digital distribution systems, and inter-agency coordination to improve supply chain responsiveness and regional food accessibility. Originality: This study provides an operational and supply chain governance perspective in evaluating BULOG’s role beyond normative policy discussions.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the development of electric-car marketing strategies in Indonesia and examines how green marketing, government incentives, infrastructure readiness, and consumer behavioral factors influence purchase intention for electric vehicles. Research Method: This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach using literature review and document analysis. Data were collected from GAIKINDO reports, Scopus- and SINTA-indexed journals, government regulations, business publications, and observations of digital marketing campaigns from 2022 to 2025. Data were analyzed using thematic coding, data reduction, and triangulation. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that consumer purchase intention is influenced by economic efficiency, technological innovation, environmental awareness, social influence, and perceived behavioral control. Government incentives, charging infrastructure expansion, battery warranty schemes, and omnichannel marketing strategies contributed to increasing consumer confidence and market acceptance of electric vehicles. Implications: The study highlights the importance of integrating green marketing communication, ecosystem readiness, and infrastructure support to strengthen sustainable electric vehicle adoption in Indonesia. Originality: This study integrates green marketing and the Theory of Planned Behavior to explain electric vehicle purchase intention in the Indonesian market.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the role of electric vehicle growth in supporting sustainable energy transition efforts and transportation sustainability in Indonesia by examining energy efficiency, infrastructure readiness, and electricity system challenges. Research Method: This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Secondary data were collected from peer-reviewed journal articles, government reports, and energy policy publications indexed in Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, and Google Scholar from 2020 to 2025. The analysis used thematic synthesis involving screening, categorization, and interpretative analysis. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that electric vehicles provide higher energy efficiency, lower operational costs, and reduced dependence on fossil fuels. However, EV sustainability remains dependent on the readiness of the charging infrastructure, the electricity grid's capacity, the integration of renewable energy, and the development of battery technology. Implications: The findings emphasize the importance of integrated policies involving renewable energy expansion, charging infrastructure development, and electricity system strengthening. Originality: This study offers an integrative perspective that links EV adoption, energy transition readiness, electricity systems, and sustainability challenges in the Indonesian context.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the role of regional connectivity in shaping food distribution dynamics and to develop a community-based food supply chain model to strengthen food security in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) villages in Eastern Indonesia. Research Method: A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, spatial analysis, review of secondary data, systems engineering techniques, and focus group discussions to refine the proposed model. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that limited connectivity, dependence on external distribution channels, and inadequate storage infrastructure constrain food security in 3T areas. Based on these findings, this study proposes a Community-Based Supply Chain Model integrating BUMDes, Digital Village Granaries, Transportation Collectivity, and appropriate storage technologies to enhance local food system resilience. Implications: The study highlights the importance of combining infrastructure development with community institutions and context-sensitive technologies. Originality: This study offers an integrated framework linking regional connectivity, social capital, and local governance within a community-based food supply chain model tailored to 3T areas in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify educational barriers in Indonesia's Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged (3T) regions and analyze technology-based strategies that may support educational equity. Research Method: A qualitative library research approach with descriptive-analytical content analysis was employed. Data were collected from peer-reviewed articles, government reports, and policy documents published between 2021 and 2026 using predefined inclusion criteria to ensure source relevance and credibility. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that educational inequality in 3T regions is shaped by limited internet connectivity, inadequate electricity infrastructure, geographical isolation, restricted access to digital devices, and low digital literacy among educators. Technology-based interventions, including satellite internet, offline learning platforms, alternative energy systems, and teacher capacity-building programs, show potential to improve educational access; however, their effectiveness depends on contextual readiness, sustainability, and policy support. Implications: Educational transformation in 3T regions requires integrated efforts that combine infrastructure development, human capacity strengthening, and responsive policy frameworks. Originality: This study proposes an integrative perspective that positions infrastructure readiness, human capacity, and policy support as interconnected determinants of sustainable educational digitalization in 3T regions.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the relationship between advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the evolving cybersecurity landscape by identifying emerging AI-enabled threats, exploring AI-based defense mechanisms, and analyzing the challenges of implementing AI-driven cybersecurity systems. Research Method: A structured literature review using a qualitative descriptive approach was conducted. Relevant studies published between 2021 and 2025 were systematically identified through major academic databases using predefined search keywords. The selected studies were screened using inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzed through thematic content analysis. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that AI simultaneously functions as a catalyst for increasingly sophisticated cyber threats and as an enabler of advanced cybersecurity defenses. Three dominant themes emerged: the evolution of AI-driven threats, the application of AI in cybersecurity defense, and the technical and organizational challenges associated with AI implementation. Implications: The study highlights the importance of integrating technological innovation, human oversight, and governance frameworks to strengthen cybersecurity resilience. Originality: This review provides a holistic perspective by simultaneously examining AI-enabled threats, defensive applications, and implementation challenges within cybersecurity ecosystems.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the mechanisms of quishing attacks within QRIS transactions, examines users' vulnerability to QR-code-based fraud, and evaluates mitigation efforts and legal protection in Indonesia's digital payment ecosystem. Research Method: A sequential explanatory mixed-methods design was employed. Quantitative data were collected through online questionnaires distributed to QRIS users in Bandung using purposive sampling. Of the 100 questionnaires distributed, 89 valid responses met the inclusion criteria. Qualitative data from documented fraud cases and relevant literature were used to explain the quantitative findings. Results and Discussion: Although 89.9% of respondents were aware of QR code fraud risks, 38.2% had experienced financial losses, and 31.5% had nearly become victims. Routine payment activities (44.6%) and promotional offers (24.1%) emerged as the dominant triggers for scanning fraudulent QR codes. Furthermore, 39.5% of respondents reported being redirected to phishing websites, indicating that quishing frequently facilitates credential theft and account takeover through social engineering techniques. Implications: The findings highlight the need for stronger cybersecurity governance through dynamic QRIS implementation, enhanced security features, and continuous consumer education. Originality: This study integrates behavioral evidence from QRIS users with legal and cybersecurity perspectives to provide a comprehensive understanding of quishing in Indonesia's digital payment ecosystem.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of global gold price movements on Indonesia's financial market indicators, namely the Rupiah exchange rate and the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), during the 2020–2026 period. Research Method: A quantitative associative approach was employed using monthly secondary time-series data collected from Investing.com, Bank Indonesia, and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to assess the relationships among the variables. Results and Discussion: The findings reveal that global gold prices are associated with fluctuations in Indonesia's financial markets. The JCI model yielded an R-Square value of 0.620 with a Significance F value of 3.22 × 10⁻¹⁷, while the Rupiah exchange rate model produced an R-Square value of 0.373. Implications: These results highlight the importance of monitoring gold price volatility in investment decision-making and financial stability policies. Originality: This study simultaneously investigates the effects of global gold prices on both the Rupiah exchange rate and the JCI, providing evidence from Indonesia during the post-pandemic period.
