Abstract

Inbound logistics, including receiving goods, quality and physical checking, item inquiry, and stock-level checking are essential aspects within supply chain management in which the unresponsive operation may lead to inefficiency. This study aims to observed the ongoing operations in a mid-sized paper manufacturer using a combination of Business Process Modelling to map the current flow process, Lean Waste Analysis to identify possible wastes, and SCOR Digital Standard to offer improvement opportunities. The results show that waiting, motion, overprocessing, and inventory wastes are identified across the three logistics main processes. Additional waste, human skill, is observed in the stock-level checking procedure. Subsequently, SCOR DS recommends the firm to escalate the human skills of lean manufacturing, bar code handling & RFID, ERP system, automation tool, time management, and collaboration, to support the performance improvement. Finally, the study proposed metrics within four dimensions to validate the solution impact on the performance, including the responsiveness, reliability, asset management, and people.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Giant gourami hatchery businesses in Jepara Regency face three interrelated structural problems: entirely conventional marketing, the absence of a planned ordering mechanism that aligns production cycles with demand, and the unavailability of objective seed-quality evidence that prospective buyers can verify. This community service programme aimed to design, implement, and evaluate a web-based giant gourami fry sales platform integrating a pre-order system with a growth monitoring module for the partner Jual Bibit Ikan Gurame Jepara in Sengonbugel Village, Mayong District. Implementation employed a Participatory Action Research approach combined with an evolutionary prototyping software development cycle across six stages over six months, accompanied by four structured training sessions. Evaluation was conducted multidimensionally through black-box functional testing referring to ISO/IEC 25010, usability measurement using the System Usability Scale, assessment of partner capacity improvement using normalised N-Gain, and analysis of business performance before and after the intervention. The results show that the platform, comprising seven modules and 42 functions, passed all functional test scenarios, obtained a usability score of 82.5 (excellent category, grade B), and improved the partner's digital capacity with an N-Gain of 0.74 (high category). The partner's empowerment level rose from level 1 to level 3, market reach expanded from one regency to six regencies, and partner income increased by 34.6% during the first three months after implementation. In-depth analysis indicates that the greatest contribution came not from transactional functions but from growth-data transparency that reduced information asymmetry between hatchery operators and grow-out farmers.

Abstract

Currently, education in Indonesia increasingly emphasizes the importance of developing students' numeracy skills, including in inclusive classes in elementary schools. However, in reality, many students still have difficulty solving both routine and non-routine mathematical problems. Thus, students' numeracy skills have not developed optimally. This is partly because elementary school students lack enthusiasm, are passive learners, and most consider mathematics to be a difficult subject. The mathematics material presented is also uninteresting and abstract. This study explores the conceptual design, features, content, and elements needed by students to improve numeracy skills in inclusive classes. The study used a mixed-method approach involving 288 elementary school students in Kudus Regency. Interviews were also conducted with 36 regular students, 36 students with learning disabilities in mathematics (dyscalculia), 18 teachers, and 9 supervisors in Kudus Regency. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Meanwhile, qualitative data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. The research instruments were validated by experts in mathematics, language, technology, and educational psychology. The results showed that both regular and dyscalculic students preferred math content related to everyday life, using modern interactive digital media with clear navigation, rather than textbooks, so they could be more active in learning. This was similar to the opinions of teachers and supervisors who stated that game technology designed for math learning could increase student motivation to learn, thereby supporting numeracy skills. This research isa basis for developing an inclusive and child-friendly mathematics game design with a cultural nuance of the archipelago to develop students' numeracy skills
