Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the concept of Maqashid Al-Quran and the optimization of budget management in the context of Islamic economics. Using the systematic literature review method, this article collects and analyzes publications from Scopus indexed journals in the last 10 years to identify conceptual frameworks and indicators of budget efficiency that can be synergized with the principles of Maqashid Al-Quran. The findings of the study show that the implementation of maqashid values—such as the protection of soul, religion, intellect, descent, and property—can be the basis for formulating budgeting policies that are not only efficient but also socially just. In addition, this article develops an innovative analysis model, integrates budget efficiency indicators with the maqashid principle, and offers practical implementation recommendations for researchers and policymakers. The implications of this research are expected to help in the formulation of more holistic and progressive Islamic economic policies. This research has shown that the integration of the principles of Maqashid Al-Quran into budget management has the potential to improve fiscal policy by strengthening aspects of justice, transparency, and efficiency. Using the systematic literature review method, this article not only identifies gaps in the conventional literature, but also offers an innovative framework that can be used as a reference for researchers and practitioners in the development of Islamic economics. The implementation of this framework requires a joint commitment between stakeholders to reform fiscal governance and integrate ethical values at every policy stage. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide inspiration for the development of a long-term strategy that is progressive, based on maqashid in budget management, and will be an important contribution in realizing public governance that is fair, efficient, and oriented towards community welfare.

Abstract

This study examines the development of Al-Quran digital tools and their impact on Islamic learning in the context of religious media transformation. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach, using the documentation study method and content analysis of the Al-Quran mobile application available on Android and iOS platforms within the last five years. The analysis is focused on aspects of usability, accessibility, and digital features that support learning and understanding of the Quran. The findings of the study reveal that the integration of digital technology and religious content has resulted in a new paradigm in the learning and dissemination of Islamic messages, marking social change and increased transformation of religious media. This research produces a comprehensive evaluation framework for Al-Quran digital tools and typologies based on categories and functionality, which makes theoretical and practical contributions to the development of Al-Quran mobile applications in the future.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the function and role of Qur'anic calligraphy in the context of the Malacca Straits Mosque. This study is carried out by applying the semiotic and hermeneutic approach of Islam, which makes it possible to examine the symbols, meanings and messages contained in the calligraphy from various perspectives, including historical, social, and cultural contexts. With an analytical focus on the calligraphy of the main wall and the mihrab, this study seeks to uncover the symbolic and non-verbal communication aspects carried by sacred texts in the worship space. In addition to exploring how calligraphy functions as a medium of teaching and reminder of spiritual values, this article will also discuss the visual aesthetic impact produced by such calligraphy, as well as how these artistic elements are able to create a solemn atmosphere in worship. Within the framework of scientific research, this article is prepared with a systematic structure with a qualitative analysis approach and observation of photographs and calligraphy transcription used as the main method in understanding symbolic messages. The main focus of the study is on the calligraphy text found on the main wall and mihrab of the Malacca Strait Mosque, which is believed to represent the core of the religious messages to be conveyed. Through visual and textual analysis, this study will identify the relationship between calligraphy aesthetics and the spiritual experience of pilgrims, as well as explore how calligraphy functions as a community bond that strengthens the collective identity of Muslims in the region. This study also focuses on the aspect of calligraphy, as one of the highest art forms in Islam, in this mosque not only functions as a decorative element, but also as a medium of communication that is rich in meaning. Every indentation and dot in calligraphy illustrates the dynamics of the spirituality of Muslims in interpreting the Qur'an, where every word becomes a window that connects man with the divine. The results of this study are expected to add academic insight in the field of Islamic art studies as well as contribute new perspectives to the discourse of Islamic cultural heritage, by highlighting the importance of preservation and appreciation of the art of calligraphy in the modern context.

Abstract

This study examines the existence and variations of Qur'anic verses inscribed on tombs in the Java region. With a rich historical background, the area is a silent witness to the process of acculturation that results in a unique cultural identity, where Islam interacts with local traditions. Historical and cultural studies were carried out using textual analysis methods and epigraphic field documentation, which allowed researchers to collect data from various burial sites as well as document this phenomenon in more depth. The research aims to uncover the historical background, context of the spread of Islam, and the dynamics of Javanese culture which is reflected through the variations of Qur'anic verses on tomb inscriptions. By examining these variations, we can see how the Javanese people interpret Islamic teachings in the context of their local beliefs and practices. The findings of this study show that there is an interaction between Islamic traditions and local culture, where religious values are combined with symbols of beliefs and social structures of Javanese society. The results of the epigraphic analysis reveal the existence of variations in the writing and interpretation of verses that have important implications for the study of cultural history and the spread of Islam in Indonesia. In addition, this study also provides insight into the shift in social values that occur in the transmission of Islamic teachings to Javanese society. This process involves not only the spiritual aspect, but also the much broader social and cultural effects, which have shaped the way of life of people throughout the ages. By delving deeper into the variations of Qur'anic verses on the inscriptions, we can understand how the community adapted and embraced the teachings of this new religion, creating a synthesis between local faith and tradition that continues to this day.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berfokus pada pengajaran Al-Qur'an dan penerapan gaya hidup nol sampah di Kelurahan Pondok Cabe Udik, Tangerang Selatan. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran Al-Qur'an serta mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip keislaman dengan manajemen sampah organik di lingkungan sekitar Majelis Taklim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, observasional, dan evaluatif dalam rangka melihat efektivitas pengajaran serta dampak penerapan gaya hidup berkelanjutan pada masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman keagamaan, kesadaran lingkungan, dan kemandirian dalam pengelolaan sampah setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian. Pembahasan difokuskan pada relevansi antara nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an dengan prinsip gaya hidup nol sampah, yang memberikan landasan konseptual untuk pembangunan karakter dan lingkungan hidup yang lestari. Rekomendasi praktis disampaikan guna mendukung pengembangan model pengabdian masyarakat yang integratif. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi bagi akademisi dan praktisi pengabdian masyarakat dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan upaya pengelolaan lingkungan berkelanjutan. Pemahaman mendalam mengenai keterkaitan antara ajaran Al-Qur'an dan prinsip gaya hidup nol sampah memberikan dasar konseptual yang kokoh dalam menyusun program-program pengabdian masyarakat ke depan di tengah tantangan urbanisasi dan krisis lingkungan, sinergi antara pendidikan agama dan keberlanjutan lingkungan menjadi relevan untuk membangun komunitas yang lebih tangguh dan peduli. Hasil penelitian ini tidak hanya menjadi bahan evaluasi, tetapi juga sebagai acuan praktis bagi penyelenggara pengabdian masyarakat untuk terus mengembangkan model-model inovatif dalam mendidik dan memberdayakan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an dan peningkatan Quality of Life (QoL) di Kelurahan Serua melalui pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Studi ini menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif dengan analisis data yang bersumber dari laporan tahunan Kelurahan Serua tahun 2022–2023 dan teori WHOQOL sebagai kerangka analisis. Latar belakang penelitian ditinjau dari disegernya kondisi sosial-ekonomi di Kelurahan Serua yang membutuhkan revitalisasi nilai spiritual dan sosial guna meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi berupa laporan resmi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an seperti keadilan, kasih sayang, dan gotong-royong berperan penting dalam peningkatan kualitas hidup, baik dari aspek kesehatan, lingkungan sosial, maupun kesejahteraan psikologis. Implikasi kebijakan yang dihasilkan memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi pemerintah daerah untuk mengintegrasikan pendekatan spiritual dalam program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar kolaborasi antara aparat pemerintah, tokoh agama, dan masyarakat diwujudkan secara berkelanjutan guna mencapai dampak yang terukur dalam perbaikan kualitas hidup. Dengan demikian, pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis Al-Qur'an tidak hanya meningkatkan kesejahteraan material tetapi juga memperkokoh harmoni sosial dan spiritualitas masyarakat.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan studi komprehensif mengenai konservasi manuskrip dalam teknik perawatan dan penyimpanan Mushaf Al-Qur'an Kufi Samarkand yang merupakan salah satu manuskrip bersejarah dengan nilai seni dan keagamaan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode konservasi fisik, perawatan, dan penyimpanan Mushaf Al-Qur'an Kufi Samarkand serta mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam menjaga keutuhan, stabilitas material, dan keaslian manuskrip dalam jangka panjang. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada pengembangan metode fisik konservasi yang telah mengalami inovasi sejak tahun 2000-an. Artikel ini menguraikan kondisi material, faktor lingkungan, serta prosedur perawatan yang optimum untuk menjaga keutuhan fisik manuskrip. Metode pengujian meliputi analisis kondisi struktur kertas, tinta, dan teknik pengawetan melalui pengujian laboratorium dan simulasi kondisi penyimpanan ideal. Keseluruhan kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik perawatan dan penyimpanan Al-Qur'an Kufi Samarkand yang inovatif dan terintegrasi secara teknologi mampu menjaga keutuhan manuskrip dalam jangka panjang. Upaya konservasi yang memadukan analisis kimia, monitoring lingkungan, dan intervensi fisik yang tepat menunjukkan hasil yang maksimal dan membuka peluang untuk pengembangan prosedur standardisasi yang dapat diterapkan secara luas pada naskah kuno lainnya. Diharapkan bahwa artikel ini dapat menjadi referensi serta pendorong bagi konservator dan peneliti dalam menyusun strategi pelestarian dokumen bersejarah yang lebih efektif. Dengan pendekatan ilmiah dan kolaborasi lintas disiplin, warisan budaya seperti Al-Qur'an Kufi Samarkand dapat tetap terjaga keasliannya bagi generasi yang akan datang. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan acuan oleh konservator manuskrip dan sejarawan Islam dalam upaya standardisasi perawatan manuskrip, khususnya Al-Qur'an Kufi Samarkand, serta mempromosikan kolaborasi multidisipliner antara ilmuwan konservasi, ahli kimia, dan sejarawan.
