Abstract

Islamic Religious Education teachers are more dominant in using explanation skills in delivering material and more teachers play a role in explaining the material compared to students who search independently. This study aims to determine the implementation of explaining skills (Explaining Skills) of Islamic Religious Education teachers and Budi Pekerti and the obstacles faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in explaining the material and the efforts made to overcome these obstacles in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that describes the explanation skills of Islamic Religious Education teachers and Character. The results of the study in explaining the material, teachers have been able to implement indicators in explanation skills so that children understand the delivery of material by Islamic Religious Education teachers. The obstacles faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers are students' lack of focus, misusing the rules for bringing cellphones to school, students who find excuses to leave the classroom and female students are more active in participating in learning compared to male students. Islamic Religious Education teachers use learning methods that are not monotonous, Islamic Religious Education teachers use interesting media and minimize the use of cellphones or Android.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in the 21st century requires Islamic Education students as prospective educators to possess technological literacy skills in developing innovative and adaptive digital learning media. This study aims to analyze the effect of technological literacy on the ability of Islamic Education students to design digital learning media. The study employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The population consisted of 442 fifth-semester students of the Islamic Education Study Program, with a sample of 70 students selected randomly using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that technological literacy had a significant effect on students’ ability to design digital learning media, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination of 0.568. These findings indicate that technological literacy contributes 56.8% to students’ ability to design digital learning media. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening technological literacy in teacher education programs to support the development of adaptive, creative, and professional digital pedagogical competencies in the era of digital educational transformation.
