Abstract

The availability of reliable road infrastructure is an important factor in supporting transportation and mobility activities in educational areas. Campus roads as supporting infrastructure for academic activities are required to be able to provide an optimal level of service along with the increasing volume and traffic load. The increase in traffic load on the campus roads of the Politeknik Negeri Lampung has not been balanced by adequate road infrastructure conditions. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a case study of flexible pavement thickness design planning to support the improvement of road service levels on the Politeknik Negeri Lampung. This study was conducted on the Main Road of the Lampung State Polytechnic with the survey being carried out from Monday to Thursday for 6 hours/day. The analysis results show that the recommended flexible pavement structure design based on the 2024 MDPJ for a design life of 20 years is a 60 mm thick AC-WC, a 200 mm thick Class A Aggregate Foundation Layer, and a 150 mm thick Class B Aggregate Foundation Layer, with a degree of saturation (DJ) value of 0.345 in the stable flow category, but vehicle speeds are starting to decrease.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Lampung (POLINELA) covers a total area of 29.41 hectares, with functional buildings distributed across the campus. This spatial distribution necessitates the use of vehicles for inter-building mobility. Consequently, high-quality internal road infrastructure is critical to ensuring efficient travel times and distances, supporting both academic and operational activities. This study aims to analyze the estimated cost of implementing flexible pavement construction on the internal road network of the POLINELA campus. The analysis was conducted by developing a cost estimate (RAB) based on the 2025 Analysis of Work Unit Prices (AHSP) issued by the Directorate General of Bina Marga. The unit price standards were referenced from the 2025 Price Schedule of Bandar Lampung City. The research methodology involved calculating work volumes, determining the AHSP, and summarizing the total project cost. The scope of work includes mobilization, land surveying (stake-out), common excavation, embankment, subgrade preparation, Aggregate Base Class A and Class B, prime coat, tack coat, and Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) surfacing. The calculation results indicate that the total estimated cost for the flexible pavement construction at the POLINELA campus is Rp4,472,800,000.00 (four billion four hundred seventy-two million eight hundred thousand rupiahs).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify and inventory the facilities of Politeknik Negeri Lampung through the creation of a digital 2D map as a foundational step toward developing an interactive 3D campus map. Using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach, both spatial and non-spatial data were collected, including the location, function, dimensions, and physical condition of each campus facility. The resulting 2D map successfully visualizes the layout of buildings, practice fields, and supporting areas in accordance with actual field coordinates. This map serves as an essential basis for further 3D modeling and the development of a digital information platform for campus management and public use.  Keywords: 2D Map, GIS, Campus Facilities, Digital Mapping   ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menginventarisasi fasilitas kampus Politeknik Negeri Lampung dalam bentuk peta 2D digital sebagai dasar pengembangan peta interaktif 3D. Melalui pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG), dilakukan pengumpulan data spasial dan nonspasial yang mencakup lokasi, fungsi, dimensi, dan kondisi setiap fasilitas kampus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peta 2D yang dihasilkan telah memvisualisasikan tata letak gedung, lahan praktikum, dan area penunjang kampus secara akurat sesuai koordinat lapangan. Abstract

ABSTRAK Banyak pekerja di Pekon Srikaton yang bergerak di bidang konstruksi belum mempunyai Sertifikat Tukang karena belum pernah mengikuti pelatihan resmi. Kondisi ini menyebabkan pekerja belum memiliki sertifikat yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengakuan atau bukti bahwa mereka telah memenuhi standar kompetensi kerja. Tujuan pelatihan Tukang Bangunan Gedung Jenjang I adalah memberikan pengakuan dan pembuktian bahwa pekerja konstruksi memiliki pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta sikap kerja sesuai standar kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan. Metode pelaksanaan Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan dengan membentuk tim panitia untuk membantu seluruh proses pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan dan sertifikasi berjalan dengan nyaman, lancar, dan tertib. Peserta pelatihan yang sehari-hari bekerja sebagai tenaga konstruksi di Pekon Srikaton memperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap kerja sehingga menjadi lebih kompeten sebagai Tukang Bangunan Gedung. Seluruh peserta berhasil mendapatkan Sertifikat Tukang Bangunan Gedung Jenjang I. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Pekerja Konstruksi, Kompetensi, Sertifikat Tukang ABSTRACT Many construction workers in Pekon Srikaton had not obtained a Craftsman Certificate because they had never participated in formal training. This condition resulted in workers lacking formal recognition of their competencies in accordance with the required work standards. This community service activity aimed to support the implementation of the Level I Building Construction Worker Training by equipping workers with validated knowledge, skills, and work attitudes in accordance with established competency standards. The implementation method involved establishing a committee team to support the training and certification process. The results showed that the training and certification activities were conducted smoothly and comfortably. Participants who worked as construction laborers in Pekon Srikaton gained improved knowledge, skills, and work attitudes, enabling them to become competent Building Construction Workers. All participants successfully obtained the Level I Building Construction Worker Certificate. Keywords: Training, Construction Workers, Competence, Craftsman Certificate.
