Abstract

Elementary school children are at a crucial stage of development in cognitive, emotional, social, and moral aspects. Therefore, learning strategies should not only focus on academic achievement but also take into account students' developmental characteristics. Educational psychology plays a significant role in helping educators understand how children learn and the factors influencing learning success. This study aims to examine educational psychology-based learning strategies to support elementary school students. The method used is a literature review analyzing recent scientific journals and books. The results indicate that strategies such as active learning, play-based learning, contextual learning, and individualized approaches can enhance motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. Thus, integrating educational psychology into teaching is essential for creating effective and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Integrasi kemampuan membaca dan kemampuan berhitung dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD adalah suatu strategi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada abad ke-21. Namun, kesimpulan pada asesmen nasional dan internasional menilai bahwa pada kemampuan membaca dan menulis siswa di SD terlihat masih rendah, sementara implementasi pembelajaran tematik belum sepenuhnya mampu mengintegrasikan kedua kompetensi tersebut secara optimal. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan dalam menganalisis konsep, implementasi, tantangan, serta strategi penguatan integrasi kemampuan membaca dan menulis pada pembelajaran tematik Di SD, dengan menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kemampuan membaca dan menulis dapat meningkatkan minat baca dan menulis siswa, cara berpikir kritis, siswa dapat pemecahan masalah pada materi, dan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan konseptual siswa.
