Abstract

Living in modern times sophisticated demands forced the man to always learn. Learning one human needs. Learning the process of filling the soul with knowledge and experience as much as possible. Learning does not merely have to come to school, sit down with more friends in the class. The development of information technology so rapidly bring great influence in various fields, especially in education. This study builds a system that can support teaching and learning at the Janabadra University.The study was conducted using a system associated with the application of e-learning, also use some libraries and software that is used as a research tool. Using eFront as software. EFront a Learning Management System platform built using the PHP programming language, as a server side scripting. Apache as a web server, and MySQL as the database server, as well as other supporting applications (Dreamweaver CS5 and Notepad ++), to design the display using HTML, and AJAX as client side scripting for interaction with the user, as well as the browser Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera to display page to the user.The study resulted in an e-learning application designed to provide ease - the ease required by students and faculty for smooth academic activities lecture, which is expected to address the needs of students and teachers will a lecture or learning system that is not limited by space and time. The test result of system users stated that e-learning applications can run well and according to user needs. Keywords: E-Learning, Learning Management System, EFront, Virtual learning environment.

Abstract

Many factors must be considered in terms of security when communicating using information technology. SMS is one of the features that are embedded in a mobile phone is no exception in android phone. SMS is still widely used for the exchange of information, many users inadvertently share information that is privacy by sending a message by SMS. Messages that are done with SMS will be received by the provider of the service provider, then after it was forwarded to the recipient therefore sending a message by SMS need to be protected, so that the safety messages are kept strictly confidential. In this study, the software will be built in order to improve the security of messages via SMS. The application will be built to encrypt a message that will be sent and decrypt incoming messages via SMS. Applications built using the RC6 algorithm. RC6 algorithm is an algorithm flow block (block cipher) were included into the type of symmetric key cryptography system. RC6 algorithm implementation is built using Android technology, to protect and maintain the confidentiality of messages. The results of trials that have been done with this application, encrypts messages sent and can decrypt a message that was well received, the message can only be decrypted if entered the correct key corresponding to the message encryption key at the time. This application can only perform encryption and decryption of text messages (letters, numbers, symbols), to encrypt the decrypted form of the image file can not be done with this application. Keyword : SMS, Android, Cryptography, Algorithms RC6.

Abstract

 Sentiment analysis is the process of classifying comments and in this study is divided into three parts, namely positive, negative and neutral classes. Classification is very important to know student satisfaction with lecturer performance. Comment data can be obtained from the Janabadra University Quality Assurance Agency website.The Naïve Bayes Classifier method is a method based on bayesin's probability and theorem. This method is used to classify the results of student comment data written on the student satisfaction form towards the lecturer so as to produce the desired automatic classification.The results of this study are used to determine the classification of student comment data so that the performance of lecturers can be easily identified from the comments given by students. The Analysis Sentiment results contained emotion category consisting of Unknown 1935, Joy 31 and Sadness 3. While the Polarity Analysis results from the comments of Janabadra University students consisted of negative values 23 and positive 1999. Keywords: Student Comments, Naive Bayes Classifier Method, Sentiment Analysis.

Abstract

       Often see people love to workout on holidays. Exercise can prevent many diseases. Some people suffer from overweight because they eat calorie intake is greater than calories expended to conduct the activities, so that the rest of the unused calories they will be stored into fat. The purpose of this research is to design the system by utilizing one of the sensors that are embedded on the android-based smartphone. To produce android-based applications a pedometer that can display information on the mileage, number of steps distance, speed, calories burned. This research utilizes one of the android smartphone namely accelerometer sensor. Accelerometer sensor is essentially one of the features of the sensors that are planted on the Android smartphone that serves to determine the degree of slope of the smartphone using the coordinates of the 3 axis, the axis of X, Y and Z. signal is issued on each sensor is its going to be a FootFall data will be processed to produce an information. Trial results that by utilizing sensors accelerometer pedometer app for android can be made based on android that can be used during sporting activities, especially running and walking. Keywords: Accelerometer Sensor, Android, Foot Step Counters, Mobile Device Applications.

Abstract

This research provides information about the spread of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia by visualizing daily information data that is announced every day by the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 (https://covid-19.go.id) within March 16 until July 30, 2020. Visualization is carried out by mining historical data on the distribution of Covid-19 Indonesia cases then the data will be classified according to category. Data on the distribution of Covid-19 was visualized using the Microsoft Power BI application and formed into several dashboards containing Regional ArcGIS Maps, Line Charts, Combo Charts, Stacked-bar Charts, Area Charts. After that the data will be accessed visually in the form of graphs and numbers based on the desired category, so that information on the distribution of Covid-19 can be more easily seen to make the government decision-making process easier in handling the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Keywords: data visualization, dashboard, covid-19, chart, power BI.

Abstract

Semantic  Web  is a network  that  is able to understand  not only the meaning  of a word  and a concept,  but  also  a  logical  relationship  between  the  two,  so  that  a  website  can  generate  the appropriate information and desired by visitors to the website. The language used in support of the vision  of  the  semantic  web  is  the  Resource  Description  Framework  (RDF)  /  Web  Ontology Language (OWL). RDF / OWL capabilities and its facilities capable of being used to represent the meaning of terms in the web to be processed in the machine. Therefore, the research discusses the development of a model for a knowledge management system with the research domain, namely the Academic Information Systems, Faculty of Engineering, University Janabadra. Model form of web- based  prototype.  This  web  prototypes  using  semantic  web  technologies   with  application  of ontology.   Ontology   built   implemented   using   Protege   3.4.8.   besides   it  is  also   used   Java Development Kit (JDK) and the Command Prompt as an emulator prototype web. Abstract

Janabadra University is one of the campuses that as a lot of information from various fields, this university has 4 faculties, namely, the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Agriculture. The Janabadra University portal has some information, namely, PMB (new student admissions), student portal, lecturer portal and alumni portal. Each of these portals has data and information that will continue to grow every year. In particular, the student portal contains various identity and academic data for Janabadra University students. The purpose of this study is to build a dashboard in the academic field that provides important information that is useful for monitoring student studies and as information supporting decision making. The method used in the construction of the dashboard is the Business Intelligence Roadmap. The Business Intelligence Roadmap is a guide for developing BI decision support applications using structured data. This method has 6 phases, namely justification, which is to identify existing problems, planning is to identify data needs, business analysis is to determine the information to be displayed on the dashboard, design is to design the data warehouse and determine the application used, constraction is to build a data warehose by using NDS + DDS architecture and dashboard development using Power BI applications, and deployment by testing the dashboard. This study builds 3 dashboards, namely student profile dashboards based on identity, student profile dashboards based on academics and student study dashboards using the average GPA as a reference

Abstract

New student data Information systems can be used as a supporting tool to support decisions. Janabadra University is one of the universities in Yogyakarta, the information system for recording transactional data for students is still done simply in the form of text and numbers. The purpose of this research is to design and build a dashboard application for data visualization of prospective students at Janabadra University for new student admissions (PMB). The method used is a business intelligence roadmap with six stages, the stages are (1) justification, (2) planning, (3) business case, (4) design, (5) construction, and (6) deployment which is a reference in the design and construction of a data warehouse using Metabase. The results of this study can build 7 (seven) visualization dashboards are  (1) Dashboard of information students grouped based on the total number of PMB registrants, (2) Dashboard of the number of registrants based on the academic year, (3) Dashboard of income from PMB registration based on the payment date, (4) Dashboard of the number of students based on the academic year of each study program, (5) Dashboard of the number of registrants by class, (6) Dashboard of the number of PMB registrants by semester and (7) Dashboard of the number of PMB registrants by study program and class.

Abstract

The phenomenon of technological development can transform systems in various sectors to provide efficiency and convenience at a lower cost, including the financial sector. Flip is a financial service application that makes it easy to transfer money between banks without administrative fees. By the end of 2021, the Flip will have a 4.9 rating on the Google Play Store. The purpose of this study was to analyze user sentiment towards the Flip app to see if flip user ratings were as positive as the ratings received. This study uses a set of text mining processes on the user rating data of the Flip app on the Google Play Store, using the classification algorithm K-Nearest Neighbor with TF-IDF weighting. The results show that 77.67% of the test data are correctly classified as positive evaluation classes, with high accuracy and recall rates of 82.67% and 86.92%, respectively. In addition, from the results of applying the Flip user rating data classification method, the comparison between training data and test data is 80%:20%, and the classification accuracy using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is 76.68%. User reviews of the Flip app have shown positive results, as well as the ratings obtained in the Google Play Store and the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, TF-IDF weighting process used to analyze user sentiment towards the Flip app.
