Abstract

Kantor Kecamatan adalah suatu kantor yang terletak di Pijoan, Jambi Luar Kota Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Dalam pengolahan data arsip serta penyediaan laporan pada Kantor Kecataman Jambi Luar Kota masih dilakukan dengan mencatat data dalam formulir dan merekap serta menyimpan berkas pada rak atau lemari berkas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa sistem yang sedang berjalan, agar dapat mengatasi masalah-masalah yang dihadapi pada pada Kantor Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Muaro Jambi, dengan cara merancang Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pengarsipan Surat Berbasis Web Pada Kantor Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Muaro Jambi. Kerangka Kerja Penelitian yang akan dilakukan dalam penyelesaian masalah yang dibahas yaitu, melakukan identifikasi, melakukan pencarian informasi berdasarkan landasan- landasan teori, pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi dan wawancara, menganalisis untuk mencari solusi atas permasalahan yang didhadapi Kantor Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Muaro Jambi. Metode Pengembangan sistem menggunakan model air terjun (waterfall), implementasi penelitian ini menggunakan Bahasa Perograman PHP dan DBMS MySQL. Hingga menghasilkan aplikasi pengolahan data yang di harapkan dapat mempermudah dalam pengolahan data maupun pembuatan laporan.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa SMP Negeri 1 Tinambung melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran inovatif berupa Pohon Numerasi Matematika. Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi awal yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengingat dan memahami konsep dasar matematika seperti operasi bilangan, teorema Pythagoras, serta rumus keliling dan luas bangun datar. Kegiatan dilakukan selama empat bulan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan observasi lingkungan dan konsultasi program kerja dengan pihak sekolah. Tahap pelaksanaan meliputi pembuatan desain, perakitan, serta penulisan materi pada papan pohon numerasi. Tahap akhir dilakukan dengan pemasangan media di pohon-pohon strategis di lingkungan sekolah serta evaluasi melalui observasi dan wawancara siswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa Pohon Numerasi Matematika mampu meningkatkan retensi siswa terhadap konsep matematika melalui paparan visual berulang yang terintegrasi dengan lingkungan sekolah. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif memperhatikan, membaca, dan mengulang informasi secara mandiri, sehingga proses belajar berlangsung secara alami dan berkelanjutan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa media berbasis lingkungan dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam mendukung literasi numerasi sesuai tuntutan kurikulum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) within the context of an AI-integrated, STEM-based Basic Statistics course and to describe the role of AI in supporting the development of these skills. A qualitative, descriptive research approach was employed. The subjects consisted of three students from the Mathematics Education program enrolled in the Basic Statistics course, selected purposively based on high, medium, and low ability levels. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and HOTS-based assignment sheets. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model—comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing—while data validity was verified through source and method triangulation. The results indicate that high-ability students were capable of critically analyzing, evaluating, and reflecting on statistical problem-solving processes and effectively utilizing AI as a learning aid. Medium-ability students demonstrated an understanding of concepts and the ability to use technology, though their evaluative and creative skills remained limited. Meanwhile, low-ability students tended to rely on procedural approaches, example solutions, and instant answers, showing suboptimal performance in contextual analysis and reflection. AI played a role in facilitating conceptual understanding, data analysis, answer evaluation, and the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills; however, its use required a critical mindset to avoid dependency. This study provides empirical insights into the characteristics of students' HOTS in an AI-integrated, STEM-based Basic Statistics course, offering a reference for developing instructional strategies aimed at enhancing higher-order thinking skills in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of ethnomathematics in the Sandeq boat and to examine the effectiveness of its application in learning ratios and scale to improve numeracy literacy of junior high school students. This study uses an ethnomathematics approach with a design that integrates qualitative exploration of cultural elements and their implementation in classroom learning. The research subjects are grade IX students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Sandeq boat contains mathematical concepts, especially ratios and scale, which can be identified through the size, shape, and proportion of the parts of the boat. The implementation of ethnomathematics-based learning shows an increase in students' numeracy literacy, which is indicated by the ability to understand contextual problems, formulate mathematical models, solve problems systematically, and interpret results. In addition, students show positive responses and more active engagement during the learning process. Thus, ethnomathematics-based learning on the Sandeq boat is effective in improving students' numeracy literacy on ratio and scale material.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at SMPN 1 Pamboang to introduce PATAGI (Geometry Transformation Board) as an interactive learning medium for geometry transformation material. The main problem identified was that students still experienced difficulties in understanding the concepts of translation, reflection, rotation, and dilation because the material was considered abstract, and learning activities were generally carried out in a conventional manner. The implementation methods included preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages through socialization, demonstrations, direct practice, group discussions, interactive quizzes, and questionnaire distribution. The results showed that the use of PATAGI helped students understand geometry transformation concepts in a more concrete and visual manner. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and confident in solving problems directly using the provided learning media. In addition, PATAGI created a more interactive and engaging learning atmosphere. Based on the evaluation and questionnaire results, both students and teachers gave positive responses to the use of PATAGI in mathematics learning.
