This study aims to determine the income and marketing strategies of melon farmers in Seluma Regency. The study was conducted in July 2019. The population in this study amounted to 20 melon farmers. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis methods used in this study are quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis is used to calculate the level of income of melon cultivation with the calculation of farm income analysis. Meanwhile, qualitative analysis is used to determine the development strategy of melon cultivation using SWOT analysis. From this research, the average income of melon farmers in Seluma District was Rp 9,835,112,500 with an income of Rp 13,527,800,000 and expenditure costs of Rp 3,692,687,500. The strategy used in improving the marketing of melons is to sell melons with various processed variants of melons, marketing melons can be done with a partnership system, creating special transportation facilities in the process of melon distribution and increasing sales by adding product innovation Keywords : Melon, Revenue, Marketing strategy

The performance of field agricultural extension should be directly related to the production of lowland rice farmers. This study aims to determine the performance and role of agricultural extension on the production of rice farming in Air Latak Village, Seluma Barat District, Seluma Regency. The research method used was to determine the performance of field agricultural extension with qualitative descriptive methods. Samples were taken, namely all field agricultural extension agents at the Talang Dantuk Agricultural Extension Center, Seluma Regency. To analyze the relationship between the role of agricultural extension agents using qualitative and quantitative methods. The sampling method used was random, with 30 respondents. The performance of field agricultural extension at the Talang Dantuk Agricultural Extension Center in Seluma Regency was categorized as good with an average of 79.58 and in the research area it was categorized as good with a work value of 78.75. The role of Field Agricultural Extension (PPL) has a strong relationship to rice farming production. the role of Field Agricultural Extension (PPL) as a desiminator, facilitator, consultator has a real or significant relationship to lowland rice production. the role of Field Agricultural Extension (PPL) as a desiminator, facilitator, consultator has a real or significant relationship to lowland rice production.

Hydroponics is a technology for growing without soil, using nutrient solutions in water. Vegetables hydroponically is more hygienic without pesticides and fresh. The selling price of vegetables hdroponik also higher than conventional vegetable. However, the high cost on the level of investment and operating costs to be one important factor to be researched is it still efficient to run. The purpose of this study is to analyze the income of the hydroponic farming of vegetables and analyze the needs of the vegetables usahtani in the P.T Central. The method of determining the area used in this research is Purposive, while the method of analysis of the likelihood ratio of the profit and efeiciency level, B/C ratio. The results showed the average profit of farm in the PT. Central is Rp. 29.674.000,- per season and Farming system vegetables hydroponics worth to cultivated of PT. Central.

Desa Lawang Agung adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu. Desa ini memiliki potensi sumber daya yang baik, diantaranya di bidang perkebunan kelapa sawit. Salah satu permasalahan lingkungan yang dialami oleh Desa Lawang Agung adalah belum adanya sistem pengelolaan sampah yang baik. Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan hasil samping kelapa sawit berupa jamur sawit menjadi produk pangan bernilai tinggi dan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik dan eco enzyme yang memiliki manfaat serta nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi, penyuluhan, pelatihan dan praktik langsung di lapangan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan teknologi pengolahan jamur menjadi dimsum, yang diikuti oleh pelatihan manajemen operasional dan pelatihan digital marketing dapat menjadi stimulan pertumbuhan ekonomi bagi masyarakat Desa Lawang Agung. Hasil penyuluhan serta pelatihan instalasi dan teknologi pengolahan sampah menjadi organik dan eco enzyme dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sebagai pupuk, karbol, pembersih alami, sabun cair alami, penjernih udara alami, penjernih air alami, hand sanitizer alami dan pestisida alami.

Peremajaan dibutuhkan pada tanaman perkebunan kelapa sawit yang telah mencapai umur ekonomis. Kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah memiliki produktivitas yang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh umur tanaman kelapa sawit di Bengkulu Tengah yang sudah tua. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui partisipasi petani dalam Pelaksanaan program replanting kelapa sawit dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi petani dalam pelaksanaan program replanting Kelapa Sawit di Desa Pagar Dewa Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan partisipasi petani dalam pelaksanaan program replanting kelapa sawit di Desa Pagar Dewa Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa memiliki rata-rata sebesar 76 yang berarti bahwa tingkat partisipasi anggota kelompok termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Umur (X1), Penerimaan (X3), pendidikan non formal (X4), jumlah tanggungan (X5), orientasi masa depan (X6) berpengruh terhadap partisipasi petani, namun pendidikan formal (X2) tidak berpengaruh secara parsial (individual). Penelitian untuk menganalisis tingkat partisipasi dan persepsi anggota kelompok afinitas (dahlia sejahtera) terhadap Program Desa Mandiri Pangan di Desa Padang Serai, Kabupaten Kampung Melayu, Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara sengaja. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara langsung dengan petani yang digunakan sebagai responden dengan menggunakan kuesioner (kuesioner) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan tabulasi dan deskripsi verbal. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan oleh 32 responden, yaitu semua anggota kelompok afinitas yang ditemukan di Desa Padang Serai, Kabupaten Kampung Melayu. Tingkat partisipasi dalam Program Desa Mandiri Pangan memiliki rata-rata 28,13 yang berarti dalam kategori sedang dan untuk tingkat persepsi responden rata-rata 33,06. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa anggota kelompok afinitas (dahlia makmur) memiliki persepsi yang tinggi atau baik terhadap Program Desa Mandiri Pangan (DMP) di Desa Padang Serai, Kabupaten Kampung Melayu, Kota Bengkulu. Polemics on forest damage and socio-economic problems that arise then what can be done to balance management as an element of economic support but still do not forget the importance is to actively participate in saving by restoration and preservation of forests. Researchers are interested in conducting a more in-depth study of "community participation and perceptions of forest restoration and preservation with a case study in Lubuk Pinang Village, Lubuk Pinang District, Mukomuko District, Bengkulu Province. The research was done intentionally (purposive) using secondary and primary data from the interview process and the existing literature, the process of taking samples using the census method, and using descriptive analysis. The results of research showed community participation in forest restoration and preservation included in the high category of 26 , 27 and community perceptions of forest restoration and preservation are included in the high category of 24.17. In this study there is harmony between the level of perception and participation of both of them into the high category.

ABSTRAK Pemanen kelapa sawit di PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari selain bekerja sebagai buruh harian lepas juga memiliki pekerjaan sampingan untuk meningkatkan penerimaan rumah tangga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis struktur penerimaan pemanen kelapa sawit dan menganalisis tingkat produktivitas kerja pemanen kelapa sawit di PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, analisis penerimaan dan produktifitas kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa struktur penerimaan di PT. Sandabi indah Lestari terdiri atas mata pencaharian utama sebagai pemanen kelapa sawit sebagai Rp 2.703.600 dan mata pencaharian sampingan yaitu penerimaan usahatani terdiri dari usahatani tebu telur sebesar Rp 1.080.000, penerimaan usahatani kangkung sebesar Rp 1.060.000 dan penerimaan usahatani karet sebesar Rp 1.040.000, sebagai penjaga kolam pemancingan memiliki penerimaan sebesar Rp 1.000.000 dan sebagai ternak lele memperoleh penerimaan sebesar Rp 900.000. Produktivitas kerja pemanen kelapa sawit memiliki kategori sedang yaitu rata-rata 188, dengan rincian kategori rendah dengan jumlah 19 orang atau 47,5%, kategori sedang berjumlah 13 orang atau 32,5% dan kategori tinggi berjumlah 8 orang atau sebesar 20%. Input Output (I-O) analysis is an analysis commonly used to analyze and find out the leading sectors in region. However, I-O analysis alone cannot say where the sector / industry base is located spatially and its distribution. Location Quotient (LQ) analysis is conducted to answer this question. The result of the combination of the two shows that the agricultural sector is still the leading sector for the economy of Bengkulu Province. While the agricultural base is found in five districts, including; Lebong Regency, Kepahiang Regency, Kaur Regency, Seluma Regency, and Muko-muko Regency. Overall, the agricultural sector in Bengkulu Province is still a key economic sector, so the development of the agricultural sector as a whole has the potential to have a big effect on the economy of Bengkulu Province itself.

The purpose of this study was to determine the production and income risks of oil palm plantations in Lubuk Bento Village. This survey was conducted in Lubuk Bento township, Pondok Suguh sub-district, Mukomuko district. The method used was simple random sampling with a sample of 44 farmers out of 290 oil palm farmers in Lubuk Bento Village. Income analysis and CV coefficient of variation studies were used for data analysis. The results showed that the production risk was 0.08 (0.08 <0.5) which means that the production risk of farmers' farms is small. The value of income obtained by farmers amounted to RP. 7,127,209/month, and revenue of RP. 11,110,080/month. The total cost is RP. 3.982. 601/month.
