Lab-on-a-chip (LOC) technologies have emerged as a promising solution for rapid clinical diagnostics, providing the capability to perform complex analyses on a small, portable device. The integration of nanomaterials into LOC systems has the potential to significantly enhance their sensitivity, specificity, and overall performance. This research explores the development and application of LOC technologies combined with nanomaterials for rapid diagnostic purposes. The primary objective is to design and evaluate a LOC platform that incorporates nanomaterials for the efficient detection of biomarkers and pathogens in clinical samples. The study employs a combination of microfabrication techniques, nanoparticle synthesis, and diagnostic assay development to create the integrated LOC system. In vitro experiments were conducted to assess the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the platform using real clinical samples, including blood and urine. The results demonstrate that the LOC system with integrated nanomaterials offers enhanced diagnostic performance, achieving high sensitivity and specificity in detecting targeted biomarkers. The platform also shows potential for rapid results within minutes, outperforming conventional diagnostic methods in terms of speed and efficiency. In conclusion, the integration of nanomaterials into LOC technologies presents a significant advancement in clinical diagnostics, enabling rapid, accurate, and cost-effective testing in point-of-care settings.
