Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the competence of lecturers and students in applying their knowledge in the field of information technology taught in lectures and daily teaching. One of the real implementations carried out is building an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in recording the medical status of patients at the Bagja Waluya Foundation. The main problem faced by partners is in recording the assessment of patients who are being treated still using paper. Where recording is done when the patient is first admitted as an inpatient until the fifth day, or commonly referred to as the patient observation stage. Then for the next recording is only done for certain cases. When needed for the next assessment, officers often have difficulty in searching for previous medical record data. Therefore, this electronic medical record system is expected to be a solution to the above problems. The target output of this activity is an application that can help medical officers in recording patient medical records so that it makes it easier for officers to search for patient data, in addition, data stored electronically has a longer retention period so that it will be easy to use for any number of years. In addition, the output of this activity is the formation of reports and journals of community service. The method of implementing the service includes System needs analysis, system design, system development, socialization and training to foundation officers and implementation. The several processes carried out in the Analysis, socialization, training and implementation stages require a relatively long time because it requires adjustment and habituation from officers and users

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat Artificial Intelligence (AI), khususnya Generative AI berbasis Large Language Model (LLM) seperti ChatGPT, telah mengubah cara siswa mengakses informasi dan menyelesaikan tugas belajar. Kemajuan ini ditopang oleh Deep Learning, sub-bidang Machine Learning yang menggunakan Jaringan Saraf Tiruan berlapis untuk mengenali pola kompleks, dan menjadi dasar berbagai teknologi yang digunakan siswa sehari-hari, seperti Face ID, fotografi komputasional, hingga rekomendasi konten media sosial. AI menawarkan manfaat sebagai tutor pribadi dan akselerator produktivitas, namun penggunaannya tanpa pemahaman yang tepat berisiko menimbulkan atrofi kognitif, plagiarisme gaya baru, dan ketergantungan pada informasi keliru akibat halusinasi AI. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMK Kosgoro VC mengenai konsep dasar AI, hubungan Machine Learning, Deep Learning, dan Generative AI, penerapannya sehari-hari, serta risiko penggunaannya secara akademik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemaparan interaktif, diskusi kelompok dengan studi kasus, dan simulasi penggunaan AI yang bijak. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam memverifikasi hasil AI, memahami perbedaan augmentasi dan substitusi, serta mempersiapkan diri sebagai tenaga kerja yang AI-proof melalui penguatan soft skills dan literasi AI.

Abstract

This study evaluates the usability of an IoT-based residential security application designed to improve guest registration and access control in housing environments. The system integrates multiple user roles, including administrators, residents, guests, and security officers, and utilizes QR Code verification to streamline entry procedures. Usability testing was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 30 respondents. The results show an average SUS score of 74.83, indicating that the application falls within the “Good” usability category. Most users reported that the interface is intuitive, the functions are well integrated, and system navigation is easy to understand. Although minor improvements are still required—such as notification speed and icon clarity—the system is considered acceptable for public use. These findings demonstrate that IoT integration can enhance residential security operations while maintaining positive user experience.
