Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed learning processes, while simultaneously creating moral challenges such as declining communication ethics, reduced respect for teachers, cyberbullying, and the spread of unverified information. This study aims to analyze Imam Al-Ghazali’s concept of etiquette in seeking knowledge and its relevance to the formation of students’ character in the digital era. This research employs a qualitative library research method. Data were collected from relevant literature, including Al-Ghazali’s works, scholarly journals, and previous studies, and were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali’s concept of learning etiquette is founded upon five main pillars: sincerity of intention, purification of the heart, respect for teachers, diligence in learning, and the application of knowledge in daily life. These values are highly relevant to addressing moral challenges in the digital age, as they contribute to the development of students who are disciplined, responsible, ethical, and wise in utilizing technology. Therefore, integrating Al-Ghazali’s educational values into contemporary digital learning can serve as a strategic foundation for nurturing knowledgeable individuals with strong moral character who are capable of navigating modern technological developments wisely and responsibly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of creativity and innovation in increasing business profits. In the era of increasingly intense business competition, business owners are required to create new ideas and make continuous improvements so that their businesses can continue to grow and compete in the market. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive analytical approach. The data were obtained from various written sources such as books, scientific journals, research articles, and other supporting documents related to creativity, innovation, and business development. The results of the study show that creativity plays a role in producing unique products, marketing strategies, and services that can attract consumer interest. Meanwhile, innovation helps business owners improve product quality, operational efficiency, and the utilization of digital technology to expand market reach. Creativity and innovation also influence business competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and consumer loyalty, which ultimately have an impact on increasing sales and business profits. Therefore, creativity and innovation are important strategies that must continue to be developed by business owners so that businesses can survive, grow, and achieve optimal and sustainable profits.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget di kalangan pelajar memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif terhadap proses pembelajaran, terutama konsentrasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa di MA Progresif Ummul Quro serta mengidentifikasi strategi sekolah dalam mengelola penggunaannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa lebih sering menggunakan gadget untuk media sosial, hiburan, dan komunikasi dibandingkan untuk kegiatan belajar. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan menyebabkan penurunan konsentrasi, fokus, dan motivasi belajar, sedangkan penggunaan yang terarah dapat mendukung akses terhadap sumber belajar digital. Untuk meminimalkan dampak negatif, sekolah menerapkan kebijakan pengumpulan gadget selama jam pelajaran. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengawasan dan pengelolaan penggunaan gadget oleh sekolah dan orang tua agar teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of congregational worship practices as a strategy for developing students' character, particularly discipline and responsibility. MTs Sunan Giri consistently implements Duha and Dhuhr congregational prayers as part of its character education program. This study aimed to describe the implementation of congregational worship practices, analyze their impact on students' discipline and sense of responsibility, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting the program. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. The research participants consisted of the principal, an Islamic Education teacher, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive analysis model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data credibility was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that congregational worship practices effectively fostered students' discipline by encouraging punctuality, adherence to school regulations, and consistency in performing religious obligations. The program also contributed to improving students' responsibility toward both academic and religious duties. Its successful implementation was supported by the principal's commitment, teachers' exemplary behavior, adequate worship facilities, and a strong religious culture within the school. However, several obstacles were identified, including students' low self-awareness, lateness in participating in activities, and limited support from their families. Therefore, congregational worship practices can be considered an effective strategy for strengthening character education in Islamic junior secondary schools.
