Abstract

This study aims to modify the grain sorting tool and test the working capacity of the tool. The method of this research is design research, the results of the study were processed using quantitative data analysis techniques with descriptive statistics. The trial in this study is only limited to the tool test, so the data obtained is presented in the form of a table from the results of the trial. The design of grain sorting equipment through several mechanisms including frame making, hopper, sieve, filled grain channel, casing installation, and other components. The grain sorting tool can work ergonomically according to the design and the average capacity is 199.51 kg / hour

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of sugar and chili concentrations on the characteristics of candied wet ceramai (texture, flavor, aroma, and color) and to know the content of water content, rendement,   sugar of reduction , total acid, vitamin C and visual test. The design used in the study is completely randomized factorial design (RAL Factorial). Data analysis technique used is the analysis of variance using SPSS version 21..The results showed that the concentration of sugar and chili influenced water content, reducing sugar, vitamin C, total acid, and organoleptic test. The longer the storage,  the water content increases while the sugar content, vitamin C, total acid and organoleptic test decreases. Sugar concentration 40% chili 1% gives the best quality of candied wet ceremai during storage

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the feasibility technical and economical drying of canarium nut using a cabinet dryer. This experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design factorial consisted of two factors. The first factor was drying temperature that consisted of three levels: 55OC, 60OC and 65OC. The second factor was drying time that consisted of three levels: 6 hours, 8 hours and 10 hours. Results of the study showed that drying of canarium nut using a cabinet dryer was feasible from the technical and economical aspects. The technical analysis that the quality of canarium nut the best treatment was obtained at the drying temperature of 55OC and drying time 6 hours had water content of 6,8648%, fat content of 62,54%, proteins of 14,47% and yield of 84,75%. The economical analysis resulted on B/C ratio of 1,24, NPV of Rp 284.294.897, IRR of 24%, BEP was reached at the level of production of 99,89 kg canarium nut per month and PBP was reached within 22,38 months.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah harus dilakukan secara komprehensif dan terpadu dari hulu ke hilir agar memberikan manfaat secara ekonomi, sehat bagi masyarakat, dan aman bagi lingkungan, serta dapat mengubah perilaku masyarakat. Selain itu, pengelolaan sampah juga membutuhkan adanya kepastian hukum, kejelasan tanggung jawab dan pembagian kewenangan selain untuk peran masyarakat dan dunia usaha dalam pengelolaan sampah dapat mendukung secara system pengelolaan sampah. Kebijakan Strategi Nasional Pengembangan Pengelolaan Persampahan diuraikan bahwa penanganan dan pengurangan sampah berbasis rumah tangga dengan menerapkan 3R: Reduce. Reuse, dan Recycle. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penanganan dan pengelolaan sampah tidak cukup didukung oleh teknologi, sarana dan prasarana serta dana yang memadai, tetapi yang lebih penting adalah partisipasi seluruh komponen masyarakat secara langsung atau tidak langsung, baik secara kelompok maupun individu. Persoalan sampah bisa berkurang jika pemerintah bersinergi dengan masyarakat serta memberikan porsi yang semakin meningkat untuk berperan serta aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims: to describe the composition and behavior of exhaust gases of motorized vehicles that can have an impact on human health. Based on the results of a theoretical study of various information that the main pollutants in motor vehicle exhaust gases are carbon monoxide (CO), hindrocarbon compounds, nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulfur (SOx), and dust particulates including lead (PB). Chemical reactions in the atmosphere sometimes take place in a long and complex reaction chain, and produce an end product that can be more active or weaker than the original compound. Motor vehicle exhaust gases which have an impact on health are classified as follows; (1). Pollutants which mainly interfere with the respiratory tract. Included in this group are sulfur oxides, particulates, nitrogen oxides, ozone and other oxides, (2). Pollutants that cause systemic poisons, such as monoxide and lead / lead hydrocarbons, (3). Pollutants suspected of causing cancer such as hydrocarbons, (4). Conditions that interfere with comfort such as noise, street dust, etc. So the conclusion is that in anticipating the negative impacts caused by motor vehicle exhaust gases, the role of the government in setting several regulations and policies in the environmental field is needed, where every business or activity is prohibited from violating the quality standards and standard criteria of environmental damage set by government. ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan: menguraikan tentang komposisi dan perilaku gas buangan kendaraan bermotor yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan manusia. Berdasarkan hasil kajian teori dari berbagai informasi bahwa bahan pencemar yang utama didalam gas buangan kendaraan bermotor adalah karbon monoksida (CO), senyawa hindrokarbon, oksida nitrogen (NOx) dan sulfur (SOx), dan partikulat debu termasuk timbel (PB). Reaksi kimia di atmosfer kadangkala berlangsung dalam suatu rantai reaksi yang panjang dan rumit, dan menghasilkan produk akhir yang dapat lebih aktif atau lebih lemah dibandingkan senyawa aslinya. Gas buang kendaraan bermotor yang berdampak pada kesehatan digolongkan sebagai berikut; (1). Bahan – bahan pencemar yang terutama mengganggu saluran pernafasan. Yang termasuk dalam golongan ini adalah oksida sulfur, partikulat, oksida nitrogen, ozon dan oksida lainnya, (2). Bahan– bahan pencemar yang menimbulkan pengaruh racun sistemik, seperti hidrokarbon monoksida dan timbel/timah hitam, (3).Bahan-bahan pencemar yang dicurigai menimbulkan kanker seperti hidrokarbon, (4). Kondisi yang mengganggu kenyamanan seperti kebisingan, debu jalanan, dll. Sehingga kesimpulannya bahwa dalam mengantisipasi dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh gas buangan kendaraan bermotor, maka peran pemerintah dalam menetapkan beberapa peraturan dan kebijaksanaan di bidang lingkungan hidup sangat dibutuhkan, dimana setiap usaha atau kegiatan dilarang melanggar baku mutu dan kriteria baku kerusakan lingkungan hidup yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOnion white is a wrong one ingredients Spices are usually have an important function as wrong one ingredients flavorings (spices) in make Cook or as drug traditional , onion white to be mandatory ingredient in the kitchen when cook because of the aroma and taste produced. In processing garlic must go through a stripping process that takes a long time. This study aims to modify and determine the mechanism of device design, the percentage of the results of peeling, not peeling, damaging and the effective capacity of the garlic peeler. This research is in the form of design. he data analysis used in the form of descriptive statistics. The design mechanism starts from the stage of making a frame, installing electric motors, installing a shaft, installing a fan, installing a tube, attaching a rope and installing a tube lock. As for way testing tool that is, weighs a sample of 300 g of ram next sample enter into in tube and pengu pas onion is operated for 1 min, then results peel weighed, for knowing percentage weight on is peeled, not peeled, broken and capacity effective. Based on the results of the test try tool, the average percentage pared to 80%, the percentage not peeled 20%, the broken 0% and the effective tool capacity for the onion 240 g ram / minute

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas gizi sosis gurita (Octopus sp). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dengan 2 faktor  yaitu faktor pertama teknik pemasakan yaitu perebusan dan tanpa perebusan dan faktor kedua yaitu konsentrasi gurita yaitu 100g, 150g dan 200g. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Sidik Ragam (ANOVA) kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa jenis perlakuan dan konsentrasi gurita berpengaruh terhadap kadar air, kadar lemak, kadar protein, warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur. Kualitas gizi sosis gurita terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan 200g gurita dengan perlakuan perebusan pada analisis kadar air (56,89%), kadar protein (18,10%) dan kadar lemak (0,62%). Tingkat penerimaan panalis terhadap sosis gurita yang paling disukai yaitu perlakuan 100g tanpa perebusan pada penilaian warna (3,44%), aroma (3,72%), rasa (4,21%) dan tekstur (3,69%).

Abstract

The objective of the research is to determine the effect of the concentration of the wheat flour as a binder on the characteristics (colour, aroma, taste and texture) and the concentration of carrageenan on the value of nutrients (carbohydrate, protein content and fibber content sausage tempeh) this research employs two steps: the first by treatment with the use of flour 0%, 6%, 8% and 10%, and the best treatment is 10%, and then used in the step II with treatment fortification carrageenan 0%, 2%, 4% and 6%. This research use complete random with three replications. The results showed the concentration of fluorine showed the best result is a concentration of 10%, whereas the concentration of carrageenan sausage the which is 2% on the organoleptic test, test and test fiber carbohydrate protein content test except the treatment on carrageenan without fortification.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to know learning achievement on the subjects of agricultural tools and machinery through integrated learning model connected type to the students of class XII ATPH SMK Negeri 2 Bulukumba school year academic year 2017/2018. The subjects of this study were the learners of class XII ATPH state vocational school 2 Bulukumba with amount of 25 learners undertaken in two cycles and each cycle is held four times meetings. Data collection techniques used are through the initial tests and tests at the end of the cycle. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of integrated learning model connected type at the students of class XII ATPH state vocational school 2 Bulukumba can improve learning achievement. This is shown from the results of cycle I with an average value of 52,00%, and on the of cycle II increased with an average value of 81.90%, while for classical exhaustiveness reached 93,23%
