Abstract

Computer Vision Syndrome which is one of the eye health problems that arise in the world for society. According to Occupational Health Hazard in the 21st century, Computer Vision Syndrome is the number one disease and a danger to workers in front of the computer. The purpose of this study is to find out the difference between eye muscle gymnastics and the 20-20-20 rule technique against Computer vision Syndrome in STIKes Santo Borromeus Students. Computer vision syndrome is a symptom caused by eye vision for laptop use on a monitor for too long. The design of the study used pre-experimental. Purposive sampling technique with a total of 60 respondents, 30 respondents to the eye muscle gymnastics experiment and 30 respondents to the 20-20-20 rule technique experiment. The instrument uses computer vision syndrome- quesionare (cvs-q) with the results of pre-test research from two groups p value = .004 meaning that there is a difference in eye muscle gymnastics with the technique 20-20-20 rule against computer vision syndrome in STIKes santo borromeus students, while for post-test two experimental groups p value = .962 means that there is no difference in eye muscle gymnastics with the technique 20-20-20 rule to computer vision syndrome in STIKes Santo Borromeus students. The advice for STIKes Santo Borromeus can make eye muscle gymnastics as a special eye exercise in students who experience computer vision syndrome

Abstract

Covid-19 is a new case, namely an infectious disease caused by (SARSCov-2). The impact is felt physically and psychologically, such as anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between demographic characteristics and anxiety levels. This research was conducted quantitatively with a descriptive and cross sectional design. An online survey with an accidental sampling technique was carried out via WhatsApp on post-Covid-19 patients for 1 month. The sample collected amounted to 319 respondents. The data collected were analyzed using chi square and spearman rank tests. The results: 84% of respondents were not anxious, 16% of respondents experienced anxiety. The results of the analysis stated that there was a relationship between sources of information (p value = 0.016), comorbid status (p value = 0.000) and vaccine status (p value = 0.000) and there was no relationship between age (p value = 0.270), gender (p value = 0.000) = 0.600), education level (p value = 0.904), frequency of exposure to Covid-19 (p value = 0.433) and post-Covid-19 symptoms (p value = 0.705) with anxiety..

Abstract

Immunization is an effort to generate active immunity against a disease. The basic immunization coveraged in Mukapayung Village in 2021 is 67.4%, while the basic immunization achievement target set by the government is 98%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge and education with basic immunization receipts for infants 0-12 months in Mukapayung Village. The research method uses a descriptive correlation design, cross sectional approach with a total sample. Respondents amounted to 110 mothers who had babies aged 0-12 months. Data collection using a 20-item knowledge questionnaire. Validity and reliability test were carried out in Karang Tanjung Village on 30 respondents and the results were obtained validity from 0.411 to 0.566 with a reliability value of 0.917 which means very reliable. The results showed that there was no relationship between mother's level of knowledge and basic immunization reception for infants 0-12 months with p value 0.501> α but there was a significant relationship between mother's education level and basic immunization reception for infants 0-12 months with p value 0.011 < α. Discussion, the level of knowledge and education is not always in line with the behavior or actions related to basic immunization for infants 0-12 months, because many factors affect a person's knowledge. Conclusion, the higher the education of the mother, the more she understands the importance of maintaining children's health through prevention of various diseases by providing basic immunization. since early stage.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is one of the chronic diseases that frequently affects people worldwide. It is also a degenerative disease, so it is crucial for us to pay attention to patient behavior and attitudes about their health. This study aims to determine the relationship between health locus of control and self-management behavior in DM patients. 141 DM patients participated in this study using a quantitative approach and an accidental sampling procedure. In this study, the DSMQ (Diabetes self-management questionnaire) and Multidimensional Health locus of control Form C were both used. The results showed that 101 respondents had a high health locus of control and 129 respondents had good self management, and there was a significant relationship between HLoC and self management with a p-value: 0.047, and an r-value of -0.168. The study recommended that healthcare professionals encourage patients to take an active role in looking after their health, prepare health promotion programs on self-management for the population, particularly for those with diabetes mellitus. AbstrakDiabetes Melitus menjadi salah satu penyakit kronis yang sering terjadi di dunia dan juga penyakit degeneratif yang perlu diwaspadai bagi kesehatan manusia dan menjadi perhatian penting bagi kita tenaga kesehatan dalam memperhatikan perilaku dan keyakinan pasien terhadap kesehatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara health locus of control dengan perilaku self-management pada pasien DM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling accidental sampling, didapatkan responden sebanyak 141 pasien DM. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen Multidimensional Health locus of control Form C dan DSMQ (Diabetes self-management questionnaire) yang sudah baku. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa 101 responden memiliki health locus of control cukup tinggi dan sebanyak 129 responden memiliki self management yang baik, serta ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara HLoC dan self management dengan p-value : 0,047, dan nilai r -0.168. Peneliti menyarankan kepada para tenaga kesehatan agar meningkatkan keaktifan dan tanggungjawab pasien dalam mempertahankan kesehatannya serta menyiapkan program promosi kesehatan tentang self-management kepada Masyarakat khusunya masyarakat dengan diabetes melitus

Abstract

The Indonesian Demographic Health Survey for Adolescent Reproductive Health in 2017 shows that there are still various health problems including low levels of knowledge related to unwanted pregna ncies, abortions and sexually transmitted infections. Knowledge of reproductive health is important for adolescents to deal with various physical and psychological changes they experience and prevent problems due to negligence in reproductive health. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of health education through Instagram in increasing adolescent knowledge about reproductive health. This study is a pre-experimental research with one group pretest posttest design. The number of samples used were 50 female adolescene using Instagram. Abstract

Introduction; quizzes are needed to increase student motivation to learn and assess their understanding of the course material. Quizzes can take the form of conventional tests (paper-based tests) and can use information technology, for example, the "Kahoot!" Application. Objective; find out the differences in student satisfaction with the implementation of the Family Nursing quiz with conventional methods and the Kahoot quiz! Application. Method: This is a quasi-experimental study with a two-group posttest only design. The data analysis process used the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Mann-Whitney test. Result; indicates the average score of satisfaction obtained at Kahoot! was 7.74 ± 1.873 and the mean in the conventional group was 7.44 ± 1.450. This shows the subject of Kahoot! has a higher satisfaction score than the conventional group subject, and obtained p-value = 0.295 which means there is no significant difference between student satisfaction scores in the Kahoot group! and conventional. Conclusion: There is no significant difference between student satisfaction scores in Kahoot! and convex.

Abstract

Introduction: Suppressing the fall of sacrifice due to covid-19, the Government has established a policy of learning system from face-to-face in class to online. Aim: Know the factors associated with student admission to online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Method: The design of the study uses descriptive quanta with a cross-sectional approach, respondents are students of all levels who are willing to fill out questionnaires for as many as 190 people, data analysis uses frequency distribution and linear regression through modeling. Results: Showing a relationship between the perception of usefulness and acceptance there is a relationship between the perception of ease and the acceptance of students feeling happy using online learning methods, in behavioral intentions items obtained, which means students want to use the learning process online. Conclusion: Online learning is acceptable and endeared to most students. Recommendations, it is necessary to conduct further studies related to the practice learning process during the pandemic

Abstract

The nursing work preparation used for cardiopulmonary resuscitation as a treatment of cardiac arrest and breathing conditions divided into physical and non-physical environments. The total of cardiac arrest cases in X Hospital from January-December 2016 was 402 cases. The success of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in hospitals is influenced by working conditions. Preliminary study results obtained some incomplete tools in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedure (SPO), the information of difficulty of mobilization during CPR in a certain room and unclear instructions from the CPR leader. The objectives of the research were to identify the nursing work preparation cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the X hospital. The study method was a quantitative used cross-sectional approach, with a total sampling subject. The results showed that almost all (89,8%) of a physical preparation at the In-patient Room of X Hospital fulfilled in accordance with the procedure of X Hospital. Some respondents (58,3%) nurses have good non-physical preparation at the In-patient room of X Hospital. Researchers suggest checking and managing emergency trolleys, improving organizational communication.
